  1. Good. This is good news.
  2. Free trade? Sadly, The Obama crowd and the Liberal crowd here haven't yet rang in with opinions on this this rather important issue...
  3. The only time I come across a copy of SI is in the rack or on a table at a physicians' waiting room. And for obvious reasons, picking up and paging through community property there is...risky. I bring my own paperback.
  4. Thanks, but I have used FF for years...
  5. Good, thoughtful comments, Peevo.
  6. http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/...test/index.html He's in a tough spot. Anyone would be. Announcing concordance with the UN is nice political cover, and letting/encouraging S. Korea to follow in lockstep re hunting SK ships on the high seas is dumb. No disagreement about whacking such, but keep your public trap shut about such, and leave it to the Silent Service... Here are a couple of caustic opinions about Obama and his depth of understanding of international affairs, calling him a sap easily taken advantage of...take it for what they are worth. Such commentary always comes with the territory, eh? http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/gerald_warner...ey_on_the_block and http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/gerald_warner...merica_so_badly
  7. Always a dice roll. Getting bounced out of a log-in is frequent for me...I keep all my malware, virus, rootkit, I-net etc. shields set up on maximum protection. Me getting bounced off TSW when clicking on a link is pretty common...
  8. Clicking on the link says "protected site", then breaks off my TSW login...
  9. I wouldn't worry too much. Just a guess - I'd say 70% of NFL wide receivers are infantile at best, just to pick a number out of thin air. For some reason, they can't comport themselves as men, choosing to act like 3 year-olds with diaper rash..."Its' All About Me!", armed with money and the usual paid-for predatory posse... CBs are next in line, followed by RBs. I love it when on the field, these strutting, preening roosters get their bells rung. It's a dull tone, though.
  10. I think that's getting a bit more common, perhaps because of the increasing number of colleges using spread offenses. With those, that College OG might be better suited for OT in the pros, that center, perhaps better at guard and so on. I've read that CIN is leaning towards grooming their #4 pick, center J. Luigs, for a guard spot. That fits in with their OL philosophy of coaching linemen to play dual positions. It's not a bad philosophy. It wouldn't surprise me to see BUF pick up some lower echelon vet LT, and keep him on the roster for several games while the young blood learns some of the ropes.
  11. Another anchor baby...just great.
  12. One more name for PFTs Turd Watch! http://www.profootballtalk.com/turd-watch/police-blotter/

  14. The broadcasters won't stand for that...
  15. The coin-toss loser's DC seems to continue his cowardly prevent defense mode, and the winner dinks down the field for a FG. Give the toss winner the ball on their own 20.
  16. IIRC, Brady was reported as having a sore shoulder for every game, for years...
  17. She really should have worn a short blue skirt and had a cigar in her mouth...
  18. I think it does, at least in a strict intepretation. I recall Marvin in the press, refusing to give info on WR Peter Warrick and citing confidentiality. However, the info the press was looking for, was Warrick's somewhat mysterious leg injury. A few years later, the same came up with ST/Safety/WR Ethan Kilmer - it was just called a leg injury. BTW, and unless it changed, it's a 10K fine for playing a player that you listed as out. They did that with Warrick, one game.
  19. But, where is Seattle, Den, TB etc.?
  20. Deja vu all over again.
  21. There are also legal reasons why you can't release a persons medical information. These days, everybody signs a document saying that you have been given a copy of the physician's or the hospital's privacy policy. Not that it doesn't leak out, or get sold. Based on personal experience...
  22. I saw a short feature on him a year or so ago...he was getting along ok - evidently managed his money well. It's a shame - drug addiction is horrible.
  23. Thanks - nice find. "Dubenion flanked left, Bass split right."
  24. Going to visit the Vanderbilt estate, Tenny?
