  1. Patriot Place is in Foxboro. It's 45 minutes from Boston, which is what I think you meant. The whole point of having a hotel and a couple restaurants at the stadium is so you can use them AT THE GAME, so I don't have to drive elsewhere!!! How is this not obvious?
  2. Uh, yeah. God forbid people have a nice experience at a Bills game.
  3. James Madison hangs 53 on UNC...in the FIRST HALF!!
  4. Buffalo: think small, be small. Then the stadium should have built downtown instead of doubling down on a mistake made in 1973.
  5. They are home to an NFL stadium. You can't turn around and say "oh, we want to be a sleepy small town." Besides, they are talking about development near the stadium, not throughout Orchard Park. If you ask me, this might be more about the businesses near the stadium now not wanting anything to change. My town doesn't have an NFL team playing in it. (It's also not that rural.) But since you bring it up, there is a bucolic New England town with an NFL team: Foxborough, MA. Patriot Place didn't destroy it. In fact it's a tax boon. But for us, a couple of bars, a 7-11 and a Tim Horton's is all we get for "development."
  6. I went to see Jane's Addiction and Love & Rockets in Boston 9/13. I left before the show ended because I had an early day Saturday and it's an hour drive home. I looked up the setlist and there were only a few more songs to go. Two days later I see this 😂
  7. Oh look, the OP NIMBYs want to kill any development around the new stadium. Brilliant. WNY in a nutshell. 🙄 https://www.wgrz.com/article/sports/nfl/future-of-the-bills/buffalo-bills-stadium-orchard-park-residents-argue-zoning-changes/71-bfe5d8cd-7c80-41f2-a900-ee3bde47c9e1
  8. The Drake Maye era may begin sooner rather than later.
  9. They are decent on D.
  10. But that's what luxury seating goes for in NFL stadiums. More even. It's sticker shock for sure in WNY, but that's what it is now everywhere else.
  11. Pats are getting +6.5 on Draftkings. That's a no-brainer. Patriots have been decent on defense this year. They will make life hard on Aaron.
  12. I go back to '98 with the D&C Hyperbills page.
  13. Huge difference. You can get a '06 Veyron for around $120,000.
  14. Quick, name 3 kickers in the league now besides Bass
  15. Elite sports car in a trailer park. FYI that Bugatti Chiron is worth around $3MM.
  16. Looks like 2025 is a go with 4 new teams.
  17. What does EPA mean? Never mind. I googled it. 😵
  18. Interesting take on him being autistic. Some very smart people are on the spectrum. Might be true. As for wearing a hoodie, your body adjusts to the conditions where you live. It's the same if you live where it's cold and you go out in shorts and a tee. You get used to it
  19. McDermott got more aggressive when he thought he had a team that the odds favored.
  20. I have been a fan of this team since 1968. There have been many many more bad years than good. So appreciate the good years. I appreciate having Josh Allen, Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane. Winning it all isn't some magic code you unlock. It's a mix of talent, skill and luck. I've also been a fan long enough to know that every year you don't win it all is no different than going 0-17. You suck. You're a failure. So I know EXACTLY what you are saying. You think you can do better with a different regime. I don't. You keep trying. You don't blow it up.
  21. That wasn't PI but in KC it is.
  22. You had one. Same guy. Kickers are like hockey goalies and golfers.
