  1. I really thought I'd see this from you BlueFire. This is my nomination. I've felt like this after reading a few posts here!
  2. How in the hell do you think you know that to be fact???? Aint, never???? You are a complete ass to even suggest that this is this case. Anyone who says that Evans is a lock to be better without Eric here is also an ass. Evans has the potential to be everything Eric was and more. Does that mean I think he will? I have no !@#$ing idea and neither do you. You're right on here. I mean that. We will miss him but he did quit the Bills to play for a team in worse shape than us and for less money.
  3. This will help alleviate that problem, but it will not cure the networks infatuation with large market or favorite teams. Regardless of how well teams are doing we will still have a schedule loaded with Dallas, NYG, NE, GB etc...
  4. It seems since the late 80s every FA who has visited Buffalo have all said the Bills are a class organization and have great facilities. What I have not heard lately is how well run it is from top to bottom. I hope Marv can change that, but I think even if he is able to it will take several years.
  5. In my opinion, as far as Eric's relationship with the Bills goes, Eric is a quitter. "Rumor" has it that Eric has signed for a 4 year $12 million deal, with a signing bonus of $5 million. So unless his salary stays the same or goes down each year, it would mean that Eric took a pay cut from what he was to receive from the Bills this year. Something he wasn't willing to do with the Bills. If he was going to a team that has the potential to go deep into the playoffs then I would understand this. Houston is not making a serious run this year, therefore he IS quitting on the Bills. I really enjoyed Eric in his time here. I think he was the 2nd best receiver the Bills ever had. He might have been the best if he was in Reed's shoes, or similar circumstances. However he did quit the Bills. I'm sure he had his reasons, but it was not because he was trying to win a ring.
  6. Unless everything I read is completely wrong, didn't Huff play at safety? The talk of CB came after people saw his 40 times, at least that's what I thought I read. That being said, I wasn't impressed with Huff's video highlights and how he tackled. He seemed to like taking people down by hitting them up high and didn't do a good job of wrapping up.
  7. You're joking right, RTs can always be moved to LT. That isn't an issue we should concern ourselves with.
  8. That can be posted 1000 times and it will never get old...Good stuff! BTW...What's this hubbub about Moulds anyway?
  9. Those zit faced punks have nothing on the likes of Jerry Sullivan! I know what you're saying PTR a guy like this is nothing more than a glorified poster on a forum. However I occasionaly read valid and compelling points by some posters here. So I take it for what it is, an individuals opinion.
  10. Put JPs last year aside, it doesn't make sense to cut or trade him this year becaus it costs us more cap wise to cut him than to keep him. His base salary and bonuses this year are $650 to 750K. Unless he is a complete disruption in the locker room, of which I have heard nothing credible to say that he is, we keep him.
  11. I'm sorry but when I read, " If i had to pick one team in the NFL, to have a losing record I'd pick..."... I can only think of one team, the stinking fish!!!
  12. I can't say that I'm surprised. Jonas and his injuries come back to haunt us even after we part ways. This also raises one more reason we should have started JP as much as possible last year. I won't even get into Anderson. Between Jonas's continued shortcomings and Holcombs number of starts and playing time, I'm surprised we got any compensatory picks.
  13. I heard the same. While I would love to get a #1 for Mioulds I do not think that is realistic. I don't have time to look up past trades but I suspect that a #1 for a WR is probably rare. I think a 3rd would be more likely the norm for someone of Moulds ability and age.
  14. While he may have a good year, you're dreaming if you think he is going to be top 5 in fantasy numbers! I wish Eric well as long as he isn't playing against us, but I think it would be safe to say that he is probably going to be in that 60-85 catch, 800-1200 yard, 5-7 TD season. Far from top 5 fantasy numbers.
  15. I wish my company figured out "extra compensation" this way!
  16. I appreciate everything that Moulds has done for the Bills so I agree with the basis of your post. I just took offense to the manner in which you expressed yourself. Then again to each their own! Your post came off like it was something you wrote for a teen heartthrob magazine, not a football related post. I'm sorry for having offended you but I just couldn't resist. That being said, Eric has given me some great memories. Until this year I never saw him do anything as a teammate be anything but supportive. I was a bit surprised by this past year with some of the posturing and antics by Eric.
  17. Whoa buddy...You should consider editing that post!
  18. Sure it does, ask Mike Mularkey. I got sucked into that second half of his first year love fest!
  19. A sure sign that the cap games they've played the last few years are finally starting to catch up to them!!
  20. If a team thinks we are going to draft Young they will trade ahead of us to get him, not trade with us.
  21. Didn't many here at TSW say it was a definate the Willis was going to holding out for a new contract? I never did understand why our #1 RB was NEVER in on 3rd down or goal line plays!!!!!!! It will be interesting to see how the new staff uses the running game this year.
  22. I remember you posting some pics of this guy last year when arrived at the Oakland camp last year. Didn't you play ball with him Nick? Good luck to your buddy's shot at the NFL, if he were to make the Bills squad, it would be great to really have someone on this board who actually has a legit inside source at OBD. It would be interesting to get an scoop of what is happening inside the locker room from a players perspective.
  23. I think that Walker, if traded, would expect to redo his contract immediately with his new team. I think that he would hold out this year considering what happened to him last year. That being said, does anyone know when he is expected to return close to 100%? I would worry that he wouldn't be truly ready to go by the start of the regular season. If he would be ready by pre season I would consider Walker and a conditional for Moulds. edit: the reason I say walker and a conditional is because nobody knows if he will come back close to 100%.
