I think that anyone who gets this worked up about opinions about a football team is an idiot. I have gotten upset with some personel moves and some of TDs antics when he was running OBD. I really hate to watch the team perform poorly, but I never get upset about anyone elses opinions about this team. I think some people have no clue sometimes but I respect their right to their clueless opinions. Grow a set son, then you can enjoy your time here.

I would be shocked if someone doesn't pick him up. He already has his pay from Buffalo and i definately see him willing to play on the cheap for a team w/ a good shot at the playoffs and SB.

I'm not going to say that I think JP is on the same level as Ben, he's not at this point in his career. I will say though that if you hold JP to the standard you stated above, "If his play / numbers can't stand up for themselves, he shouldn't be in there!", then you should hold Ben to the same standard. Is it time for the Steelers to bench Ben? I personally think that it would be a mistake to bench Ben, just as I thought it was a mistake to bench JP last year. Sometimes it is in the long term interest of a team to ride rough times out with the players they have picked to lead them for years to come rather than compromise the long term for a minimal short term gain.

We will be in big big big trouble if JP only manages 2200 yds this year, that is only 137 yds/game. I hope we see something more like this: 3600 yds passing = 225/game 24 TDs = 1.5/game 16 INTs = 1/game 480 yds rushing = 30/game 4 rushing TDs 6 fumbles On a side note I would like to see McGahee reach 1400 yds rushing and 400 yds receiving. If both JP and Willis produce doable #s like above we will be plesently surprised by this season.
