I hope we never see chambers in a Bills uniform. He is overrated by many on this board. My brother is a huge dolphins fan and when I mention some of the posters on TSW and their desire to pick up Chambers he just laughs and says he hopes so. Ask any dolphin fan and they will all tell you the dolphinsmad a huge mistake trading away welker and not chambers instead.

I think you are WAY off base with Reed! Reed is the Bill's best and one of the NFL's better slot receivers in zone coverage. He consistently has been able to get seperation. With the exception of his dropsies he had in his first couple of years, Reed has been the most reliable reliable receiver we have had especially in 3rd downs. JMHO

I think you can safely assume the networks have provisions in their contracts with the NFL re: a potential lock out. The networks will not keep the money flowing at the same rate if there is no product to sell advertising for. If the NFL puts in relacement players (and I don't think they can), you can be assured that the networks will not be paying the same rate they were for non replacement players. I will almost always side with the workers against the owners in contract disputes or negotiations, EXCEPT in this situation. I think the players got too greedy here. The old system of using just the tv money for the players salaries was much more stable especially for the smaller market teams.

I think everyone is actually scared to make a comment much less flame away. It is a good thing that it was Schobel and not Kelsay! I do find it interesting looking at some outside the norm stats for otherwise not recognized insight. However I also consider that these like most stats have multiple ways to read into them and therefore alone they cannot constitute a true reflection of a player in and among themselves. That being said I do believe a healthy Schobel can make a significant contribution on defense not only in sacks or tackles for a loss but also in not so easily defined areas of major contribution as exhibited above.
