  1. Hey McD, now can we at least take some chances instead of playing to keep it close...asshat
  2. stanford could've taken that back for 2 points but he's clueless
  3. Holding on the Pats again?! The refs must've missed the pregame briefing
  4. defense will have to get a turnover for any hope
  5. horrible decision by DA.. Zay open again and instead throws to clay double covered
  6. gotta keep the chains moving here
  7. That's basically every game for him
  8. This defense is playing unbelievable. How can an offense be this bad
  9. hughes finally got a holding call
  10. they'll say it's too close to reverse...i have no doubt
  11. How many times can we do that same play on second down after an incomplete pass on first down.
  12. I made the trip to Indi for this one and they laid a big turd. After a couple of promising opening drives on both sides of the ball, the team completely fell apart and then just downright quit. ?. I don't expect the world from this team but come on - at least play hard and be competitive. The blowouts under this regime are crazy. Even my 9 yr old is starting to get numb to this stuff. Last year on the drive home from Cinci, he was in tears. This year he didn't even want to waste time on any emotion - just shook his head wondering if we'd ever be any good. As always, very impressed with the number of Bills fans that traveled for this game.
  13. I was at the game and Jerry must've said something to the ref. it was well after the play and he was just standing next to the ref and all of a sudden the flag flies. I don't blame him at all. Exactly. Blatant holds all the time that never get called. Some of those big runs by the Colts yesterday...clear holding. I hate NFL officiating. Not blaming this loss on them but come on - would've been nice if they even a quarter of them.
  14. 1. My family moved to Cheektowaga in 1980 when i was 9. My dad had started following football and I was hooked. Those were the days of Fergy, Cribbs, Lewis, Smerlas, Haslett, etc... Been a lifelong Bills fan since, even after moving away as an adult 2. Tough question. Probably the identity they give to the community. We live and die by every game. 3. a) 51-3 clincher for the first super bowl - was in college at the time but that feeling of knowing we were going to the show remains priceless b) Comeback game - i was at this game... til the end c) Division clincher in 88 against the Jets where i was on the field postgame as we tore the goal posts down and passed a piece up to RW's box The Fergy to Hooks game was my first live game ever. I was little and too many people standing so didn't really see it but the celebration was awesome I remember the broncos game fondly - Biscuit's first game where he terrorized Elway non-stop.
  15. Tom, Also making the trip from St. Louis with my 2 boys ages 8 and 5. It will be the younger one's first Bills game! Will definitely stop by your canopy. Thanks. Should be fun - i hear Lucas Oil is a great venue. Regardless of the absurd QB situation, i think we still have a shot to win this one because of the D and the Colts not being that good.
  16. Subscribed to Blitz last year but haven't found the need to this year. Don't miss it since there are plenty of free offerings out there. I do visit Maven. Unlike others here, i don't mind getting alternate takes from the likes Sully and Gleason. Rumblings is another great site.
  17. And you expected what exactly? You hangin in there?
  18. And then it’s not consistent at all. In the same game a Tampa receiver (#12 i think it was) fumbles the ball when the defender hit the ball directly with the helmet, which is fine in itself. But replays clearly showed the defender led with his helmet, made contact with the receivers helmet/face mask first then the ball. No call - Pittsburgh ball. Contrast this with the ridiculous call on Tre White for deenseless receiver on a sure clean tackle. The NFL rules committee are a bunch of morons. It’s a combination of both.
  19. Mofo, you da man. ? We so needed this. Enjoying every second.
  20. Yep i remember thinking we finally have big play capability. But Reed was a no name at that point and the two of them went on to become one of the most prolific QB-WR tandems in the history of the league. Great quarterbacks make those around them better. Let's see what Allen can do. Also saw some receptions by Jerry Butler in that game. Didn't recall he was still playing when Kelly started.
