  1. Since we’re talking routes, Stevie was pretty damn good too.
  2. Yep sorry about that. You were right on the ball.
  3. Nope. Rhode Island Red is absolutely correct. The clock would have kept running if the officials had gotten ithe call right on the field. But since they called it a TD then had to reverse it, the clock needed to start again. Official went over to explain this to Bellicheat and he didn’t like it one bit, but he had no choice but to take the time out. They technically should have put about 10 seconds back because at first the clock kept running until they signaled TD but never corrected it for the timeout, assuming Bellicheat would have taken it right away. And yes, the announcers were completely clueless. Classic game which I’ll never forget.
  4. CFL still has goal posts at the goal line I believe.
  5. Populous actually did the HIghmark renovation in 2013 and the Adpro Training Center. More links below. Some really gorgeous work by this firm. Very excited to see the structure/plan when it comes out. https://populous.com/our-projects/stadium-experience/nfl-experience https://populous.com/our-projects/stadium-experience/soccer-stadiums https://populous.com/our-projects/master-planning
  6. Yep, it was obvious from the beginning. Not sure why it took this long nor why they aren’t including regular season this time 🤦‍♂️
  7. It would only go on forever if neither team could ever score or if each team continued to match the other team every time. Low probability of either happening.
  8. But you just know the NFL powers that be will come up with something so convoluted that will cause even more controversy. See tuck rule, catch rule, taunting rule, etc….
  9. Yes, sudden death after. Each team has had ample opportunity by then.
  10. Why is everyone making this so complicated. Just give each team one possession in OT and be done with it. For God’s sake this isn’t rocket science.
  11. Chiefs fans were saying the same before the game. Bengals defense would’ve given us problems too. No guarantee we would’ve won, much less “stomped”
  12. Yep, the Houston playoff game where we choked away a 16 point lead is another example
  13. Maybe because our defensive game plan was so soft and passive.
  14. Yep, no guarantees in today’s NFL.
  15. Mahomes wasn’t right. But Bengals defense was strong in the second half. Not sure why our “#1 defense” had no answers last week.
  16. This right here. It’s the most simple and obvious concept and it blew my mind back when they first changed the OT rules that they wouldn’t give both teams an offensive possession. NFL rules committee is made up of buffoons.
  17. At least this will force them to open up the playbook. Let Josh go down swinging
  18. Sal confirmed on Twitter that he had checked with a league source on the deadlines. So yes, he is indeed out.
  19. Yep, but there is enough technology and design ideas out there that should work in Buffalo. I would hope the powers that be are already vetting this stuff. They need to pay particular attention to recent designs in cold weather sites. Here's a good example from Russia for soccer. https://aecom.com/without-limits/article/extreme-climate-sports/ This cost $420 million in 2014. Obviously capacity would be more than the 45k and overall cost will be higher with the bells and whistles needed for NFL (and in today's dollars) but just trying to show there are cost effective and weather effective options that may not price out the average fan.
  20. Thought he was dead in the water. JOSH!! clear hold on Dawkins but finally get a break
  21. Defense could’ve made a statement and whiffs
  22. Gotta hand it to the O-line. Excellent job so far
