  1. Exactly. If you’re going to compare Dungy to McDermott, you have to remember Dungy started with the Bucs, built a great team, but couldnt get to the super bowl in 6 years. He then moved on to the Colts and it took him another 5 yrs to win the super bowl. Lets hope Sean’s path isn’t similar. He’s built a great team but needs to get to the super bowl or eventually he’ll be moving on to another team.
  2. Pretty sure that game was blacked out locally in Buffalo. Or were you out of town?
  3. I was there….really! Almost left at half but decided to stick it out and wow! Something I’ll never forget
  4. I think the stadium will be fantastic. It’s the ticket prices I’m worried about. Very curious to see how sales of PSL’s will go
  5. Really great to get a glimpse of a few more drawings and models in this video. I for one am very excited to see this come to life. Totally fine with it being open air but I am still wondering why they chose to keep the canopy as small as it is. Tottenham covers almost all the seats. Can’t be much more to extend it a bit. Edit: Just went back and found this nugget from April when they announced the cost went up from 1.4 to 1.54B: 'The additional costs will be covered by owners Kim and Terry Pegula. "Those added costs come from the commitment of Kim and Terry to build the best football stadium possible for the Bills and our fans. The increased coverage on the canopy, a lot more technology, the streetscaping and the landscaping around the stadium to create a 365-day destination," said Raccuia.' So the original announcement and renderings released in Oct '22 said 65% canopy coverage, and I'd surmise the drawings and models we saw in this video were from design sessions back then. So I'm hoping this means maybe 75-80% coverage when all is said and done, which was not reflected in this video.
  6. Wow, drawing a complete blank on “we can make it happen.” That was when I was away at college so makes sense.
  7. Thanks for the blast from the past. Talkin Proud instead of the Shout Song. I was 11 and if I remeber right, my parents made me go to bed. I sneakily listened on the radio.
  8. Not sure as I did the standalone ST only and not the tv package
  9. Yes, exactly. I’ve already canceled the auto renew. Will revisit everything again next summer.
  10. Yes it is quite a deal. At $175 I’d be out in a heartbeat. I call every 12 months (sometimes more often) and get re-upped with discounts continually. I’m due in July again. Hopefully things don’t change too much.
  11. Not really cheaper for me. Paying $105 for DTV including regional sports channels and I get HBO for free. I believe it would be at least that much for YTTV for similar package. But I know people’s miles vary with DTV.
  12. I went with the stand-alone Sunday ticket/red zone package. YTTV doesn’t carry Bally sports which carries all the Cardinals and Blues games here in St Louis. I could get by without but an absolute must for the rest of the family. So when I look at switching, I’d still have to get Bally via another sub and it ends up costing more than I pay now for DTV. As much as people complain about DTV, I never paid full price for ST Max in 11 years, usually free or at least 75% off at worst. Also would call every year and get steep discounts on tv package in general. So this switch just means I have to fork over $389 for the ST/red zone package and have to show the family how to access it differently this year. Not gonna complain too much - that’s still not bad as we’ve got 3 nfl teams we follow and this assures we’ll get every game.
  13. Not an NJ fan but I am a Lindy fan. He went from “fire Lindy” chants earlier in the season to making the genius goalie change in game 3 to 22 yr old Akira Schmid and coming back to win the series. Hope they go far.
  14. Panthers!!!!
  15. Great game and great series. Boston gets 2 goals in the first 4 mins of the third to take the lead and Panthers tie it with 1 min left with goalie pulled. Panthers need to pull this out in OT.
  16. Agree. That was my first thought when I saw the thread title.
  17. And you are so sure of this already? How about we reserve judgement til it actually exists and we’ve actually experienced it’s level of fan friendliness.
  18. PSL process looks to be next on the list as proceeds will directly fund construction. https://buffalonews.com/business/local/documents-reveal-more-about-sales-and-marketing-of-seat-licenses-for-new-bills-stadium/article_e708fca2-ce58-11ed-9042-67af68ea8877.html “When the Buffalo Bills start selling personal seat licenses, season ticket holders will be able to see what their seats in a new stadium will look like through a virtual seating center that the team plans to open in Williamsville. That marketing and sales center will be set up in the Walker Center starting this spring to help sell personal seat licenses, which allow the organization to charge a fee giving season ticket holders the right to buy tickets, according to the agreement. At the center, fans will be able to buy season tickets for the new stadium and experience their seat in virtual reality. The documents do not, however, delve into PSL prices or a timeline for their sale as the Bills prepare to break ground on the $1.54 billion stadium in May and substantially complete it in about three years. ‘All the PSL money is used for construction on a stadium, so that's critically important as we embark on this, especially in a market like Buffalo, where we don't have the ability to increase (ticket)prices the way other markets have,’ Ron Raccuia, executive vice president and COO for the Bills, said previously.“
  19. Notwithstanding the weak renderings they've given us to this point, I think the stadium is going to be really cool. The official page is up on Populous' site. https://populous.com/project/buffalo-bills-new-nfl-stadium
  20. Wow, just a crazy sight. Thank whatever powers above that the driver wasn’t seriously injured. Side note: Credit to the driver with the dashcam. No panic, just slows down through the debris and stops behind the flipped vehicle.
  21. 80’s for sure. Adding: War Games Goonies Gremlins ET Star Wars Back to the Future Raiders of the Lost Ark Sixteen Candles Breakfast Club (basically all the John Hughes movies)
  22. And the reason they keep calling Josh’s number is cuz their traditional running game is weak. With Harris being added, hopefully that changes. I’m still hoping for more upgrades to o-line too.
  23. That’s not the real Jerry but have to agree
  24. I’d be happy if he could start with scrapping the 10-15 yard cushions on 3rd and 5 😃
  25. Judon said it really well. Josh is gonna ball cuz that’s who he is. I think he just needs to realize that he has to start protecting his body if he wants to last full seasons and lead this team deep to playoffs and Super Bowls. I would love for him to continue to take off when he sees lanes but just slide at the end
