I believe that was the Bills season opener in 1990. I was there - George was like a rag doll the whole game with CB and BS taking turns sacking him...

The problem with Buffalo has been lack of vision period. You have to ask the question why do we think a casino is supposed to "save" Buffalo (it won't). The real shame is the lack of creativity to bring real business and opportunity to Buffalo. Of course, having ignorance in Albany (thanks Pataki, Silver) and outsourced jobs resulting for a lower standard of living for everyone doesn't help.

The draft is a big crapshoot anyway...sounds like the Bills did their homework though...Gotta have faith that Marv and Modrak know whant their doing....We put faith in TD, who made (mostly) trades and picks to wow us on draft day but the product on the field stank....

I live in the city. His comment about the Bills not being here is pretty obvious, much like the grass is green and the sky blue. But he didn't have to say what he did, too defeatist. Kinda sounds like Wade a few years ago, counting the Bills out of the playoffs too soon....And didn't RW fire him for that?

If he absolutely had to use weed while knowing the consequences (i.e. losing millions of dallars) then yes, I think he probably does hae a drug problem....And with Saban's comments, maybe RW has a new buddy to smoke with....
