I think Williams has great speed for sweeps, as well as good sense to cutback and make a tackler miss. You can't teach things like that. Williams provides another change-up in the running game. Too bad for Simonton, but Williams is just a shade quicker.... Keep Williams for punts and kick-offs, too. I think they'll keep 3 RBs and Lawton, let Zolman go, so they can keep 4 tight ends.

I'll answer my own question From Billsdaily.com Friday August 27, 2004 Losman's Surgery Successful: Tom Donahoe was on Sirius NFL Radio yesterday and said that the surgery on the broken leg of J.P. Losman was successful. He said doctors were very pleased with how it went and expect a full recovery. He is expected to miss at least half the season posing question on whether or not he should go on injured reserve. To weigh in on your thought, answer our poll question on the home page.

Any news about how it went? Will it really speed his healing process?

Actually, if JP is out 10 weeks, he will only miss 7 games because of the bye. The ESPN article said he may have surgery to promote healing... I think having 2 QBs on the roster is OK. The Bills did it a few years ago with Kelly and Reich. This is a chance for Zolman to make a name for himself, or send us all to bed early these next 2 games.....
