I didn't hear nearly this much bitching when the state was throwing quite a bit of money for the bills. And this stadium / convention center will bring in many times the money that the ralph ever will. not saying it's a good idea for public money, but we got quite a bit of benefit from it as well.

I'm a lobster man myself. Really can't get enough. Never been to abe and louies. Best steak I've ever had was at a local tavern across the street from a slaughterhouse just outside of Wichita. Incredible. Second best steakhouse for me is Sparks.

They should try a DCTom vs NJSue battle, now that would be good! I disagree with the meadowlands post though, the stadium has good site lines. Not many stadiums are as easy to get out of as the ralph - it is unusual to have the stadium in the middle of about 6 decent sized roads for people to get out of dodge. Foxboro is much worse than the meadowlands, it sucks!

I don't think anybody here has a problem with giving to hard workers. The problem is when you own a business and have to pay some lazy jackass $40 to spend 30 seconds vacuuming your trade show booth. He doesn't deserve $40, period. Or when you get a brick thrown through your window because your last construction project didn't use union labor. Or when you are doing a training class for teachers and half of them get up mid-sentence and leave exactly at 3pm because that's the time their contract says they are done. Hey, I'm all for getting all you can get - just keep your mouth shut if you get canned because of your greed.
