  1. What's your opinion on this route here? I feel like there's a legitimate deep threat here. I was reading unconfirmed stuff online that he's a 10.4 100 meter guy also ...
  2. Shakir reminds me of Andre Reed He led all wrs Sunday in avg separation according to next gen stats.
  3. It's because some of these guys are not 100% Don't get me wrong, there's scheme issues everyone has talked about for years. But they're just now starting to get a little healthier. Bosa is probably a few weeks away with the wrist Bernard and Milano Benford has been dealing with the mild groin strain since the end of camp. He just now is seemingly getting healthier. Taron Johnson same issue TJ Sanders just got back. Fox just signed to replace hoecht... Crossing my fingers we beat the Texans, idc about the score. And get out healthy. Then it's 10 days rest.... That should be enough momentum to go on a run
  4. What does your eye test tell you on shavers? Obviously anything now is premature, but do you see anything special or high end potential? What's your opinion on him?
  5. Gabe is very underrated. He is a really good wr. He's not a number 1 with no flaws, but I don't think he ever should have left. Him and Josh have a special chemistry. He was always legit
  6. He's gotta be a very patient person and mentally tough after waiting for 2 years. He's absolutely earned this opportunity and I was reading more on Stallworth and how he developed for a few years. Just turned 26. I was extremely impressed before the half on the catch on the sideline before the ty Johnson td. He literally tried to jump over the guy. I was like woh, this dude has all star type confidence and real talent. matt parrino said his rookie year he was really sticking out as a rookie free agent, like insane catches, real abilities but the normal inconsistency of a rookie wr. Again this is probably way over hyping , but the eye test to me says something special is there. That would be hilarious if Beane found a great wr as a rookie fa 😂
  7. If shavers has a good game vs the Texans corners ... Look out. Even if it's just a few big catches
  8. Stallworth highlights.... You can definitely see the comp Praying 🙏 he can be this for us. He's tough too
  9. I am watching highlights of Bradshaw and Stallworth and I'm like holy crap. He does look like Stallworth. But you're right. Too much hype right now lol
  10. I really think this is a possible special wr. I do remember reading he was highly recruited.... but looking at his highlights and boy is it extremely similar to Stallworth. I know it's a lofty comparison but yesterday was different. Idk I'm probably wrong but I think there's definitely something there. His confidence is obvious. He's got that long lanky stride like Stallworth to get deep, but he's quick enough in short areas to create all kinds of problems for dbs. I'm excited Go bills!
  11. It's a little alarming but teams are throwing insane exotic stuff at our oline trying to do anything to create confusion...
  12. Okay. You could be right there. I didn't think of it that way. I just don't know where he plays right now
  13. When Dion Dawkins said this was his last chance that was extremely eye-opening... I don't think it's completely crazy that he might just be released in a few weeks if things don't turn around. He's not playing over any of the top five guys and right now... if it was up to me I would have Elijah Moore as active over him for the Thursday night game as wr 6.... Heck if Hardman is put on temporary ir for emergency depth they might sign another return guy at wr. Idk There's obviously a lot more going on besides just missing meetings or being late. And with Dawkins comments I wouldn't be completely shocked if he's released. He ain't playing over Shavers who looked like frickin John Stallworth today lol
  14. They were 6-4 in 2019. 3-4 in 2021. They're too talented to count out but it's not easy. I do think they'll sneak in as the six or seven seed most likely I was pretty surprised today I thought they would handle Denver. I still think they're the 2nd best team in the NFL behind Philadelphia. But it's been a weird year.
  15. Pats are obviously good. I just think buffalo has a higher ceiling
  16. This Houston game is a big test If Buffalo wins they will basically have a three-game lead on the very last wild card spot and put Houston in a very bad situation. They're probably the best defense in the NFL and it's on a short week on the road. I said in an earlier thread that it reminded me of the Jim Kelly Bills in 1992 that went on the road to play the New Orleans saints. If Buffalo wins this game even if it's a low scoring grind it out game I will be extremely impressed. I think if they can do that ,get 10 days rest ...I think it's very possible they go on a run for the one seed. If they lose to Houston they'll probably be a five or six seed and be on the road for the playoffs. If they do lose it's not the end of the world because I think Buffalo will have a psychological edge over anyone in the playoffs except for KC. And maybe KC is out of the playoffs but I'm not doubting them until they're eliminated
  17. Relatively healthy and letting Allen be a gunslinger, they're a top 3 contender. 💯 % legit When McDermott coaches a philosophy of risk mitigation, too much soft zone, runs too much on 1st down, etc, I think they're a good team that will lose in the wildcard or divisional rd I noticed when Dorian Williams was in the game the bills run defense was much better. This was also the case vs Baltimore in the playoffs...They're going to need to figure out what to do with the linebackers. Hopefully shaq Thompson is healthy soon
  18. A lot of young guys are playing. And we're still trying to get healthy. Bosa is probably a few weeks away with that wrist from being himself. Bernard is getting healthier but clearly he 8not 100, same with a few others.... We'll see what happens. It's a concern obviously Gotta give credit to Tampa too... Baker is legit, Tampa is legit. We were lucky some of their guys were banged up It was a classic shootout All well said. Let's hope some of the older vets have one last run in them this postseason.
  19. I think there's at least some legitimate hope because of how different they called the game offensively today. And it was the fact that the offensive staff kept leaning into being aggressive even after Allen had two turnovers....It was obvious dramatic changes happened. Josh Allen has to be able to play the game to win the game. You don't play the game worrying about turnovers.... you don't play the game worrying about your defense. But yes I'm still skeptical
  20. The weirdest thing I don't understand is when Allen plays this way, he still pretty good with limiting turnovers. His ints in his first 6 years starting are identical to Brady's 1st 6 years starting (78). And Allen had more pass attempts. I think Allen's career int % is 2.3, it's even lower in the playoffs lol But more strange is when McDermott tries to turn Allen into this 12-15 play checkdown charlie, the chance for mistakes goes up. And the mistakes/ turnovers are at such a higher rate of opportunity cost because you're taking so long to score. It's counterintuitive but you're actually adding more risk by playing a ball control offense with a quarterback like Josh Allen.... It's just mind numbing that McDermott doesn't understand this. The ceiling with Allen being a gunslinger, and having an aggressive downfield passing attack is so much higher than even the most powerful running game. I'm not saying the bills shouldn't pick and choose when to play ball control offense. I'm saying the way the bills played offense today should be the foundation of their identity. And I would even add more aggressiveness with more uptempo and going no huddle in certain spots. Allen is an emotional aggressive downfield passing QB. It's in his DNA to play that way. Here's what I also know.... I don't know if the bills are going to win the super bowl. But I 100% do know if they allow Allen to play that way, they can absolutely go win the super bowl and in spectacular fashion. You gotta let him play on the edge. I saw this with Elway & Favre their entire careers. Go rewatch Elway's game vs Cleveland in the 87 AFC championship. It's the same sandlot gunslinger QB as Allen...
  21. This is going to be tough. Texans defense is legit
  22. I'm guessing I obviously don't know. But my guess is he is signed back to the ps
  23. I swear to God when Mahomes has the ball and even if there's only 30 seconds left it feels like there's two hours left it's unbelievable...lol
  24. Ask yourself which offensive philosophy has a higher ceiling. This game vs Tampa? Or the game vs KC? Let Allen be the gunslinger he is!!! My God could you imagine no huddle??? Hopefully McDermott & Brady learned a lesson
