  1. Who can forget the Henry Jones interference call in the end zone when the Flutie led Bills had a big lead against Bledsoe's Pats. That game sucked.
  2. We have only scored one touchdown in our last 12 trips inside an opponent's 20. Would anyone venture to guess how many points we would have come away with if we just went for it on fourth down every time instead of kicking all of those field goals?
  3. I thought it was against New England in a game we really needed to win - we were leading the division and I think he punted from the 32.
  4. Javon Walker was great last year, but lost for the year in week 1. Would have been a different story with him around, a big and fast receiver with great hands and speed. Donald Driver sucks compared to Walker.
  5. That lengthy of a drive was a punch in the mouth statement by the Bills
  6. I think what happened for me was that I got even more interested after the GW years because the law of averages says that the will win one if we just keep throwing a good team out there every year.
  7. I am just saying that I have let it cut into time that I now feel should be spent playing with my kids, working out, playing guitar, and talking with my wife rather than allowing it to become as obsession. If it was just Bills football every Sunday for 4 months, it would be doable, but I am so into every major sport that it is handicapping my life.
  8. Would anyone here say (besides me because I am waking up to the fact) that they are addicted to sports? Has anyone else here besides me lost sleep over it, have too much elation over a victory or feel abnormally down over a loss? I was just wondering what the thoughts of other fans and TBD posters were on the issue. I have noticed that my mood on Sunday night and Monday at work is affected by whether the Bills or my other favorite teams win or lose, and I wonder how healthy that is overall? Anyone else deal with this issue, and if so, what did you do/change?
  9. I was not sad to see him go, and I don't think the Bills would be any better than 2-3 if he had stayed.
  10. From the article "Losman gets positively giddy at the thought of being the heir to Favre's legacy, and why not? Somebody's going to get the benefit of the Favre mentoring program. The do-as-I-say, not-as-I-do portion of the curriculum might be tricky, but the internship promises to be a blast." Maybe that's why Losman has played like crap, his heart is on the bench in Green Bay.
  11. That fan needs some of BuckeyeMike's cowbell!
  12. That's why I have a hard time with people who guarantee wins or losses week to week. Bad calls, broken plays, turnovers, penalties, the 12th man... There are so many factors that go above and beyond just having superior talent and a good game plan that it is just too hard to call. One week a defense will force 2 fumbles in the red zone and not recover either of them. The next week the same thing will happen and it results in 10 points for the offense. Although it is fun to make predictions, it is always too close of a call to say that the Bills will definitely beat the Bucs.
  13. Check out the video, has some cool quotes from JP in it as well as all the major highlights... http://media.putfile.com/BillsTexansHighlights
  14. This kills me because he was a top pitching prospect in the Cardinals organization and could be in the majors right now with his stuff. Instead he picks a dangerous sport with a penchant for short careers. He's as moronic as those surprised New Orleans residents who woke up to water.
  15. I have a couple of questions. I am in a 12 team league, and return yards net you a point for every 20 yards (same as rushing yard in this league) I have Rendle El - a few receiving yards and return yards last year. I was thinking of reaching a going for Dante Hall (123 fantasy points last year, almost 2000 return yards). Any chance that he will get more time at receiver this year and have a few more yards in the offense instead of just being a return specialist?
  16. I think you have to have Cincinnati's defense in the top 5 this year, they were top 10 in interceptions, top 10 in fumble recoveries, and top 10 in TD's. I think if they give up a few less points (should be able to with Marvin Lewis established) then they will be the sleeper "D" of the year. I got them in round 11 in my league and feel like I stole them.
  17. This one is more sickening! http://espn.go.com/nfl/columns/clayton_john/1453275.html
  18. This is a riot... I dug up this old article, what a difference a couple of seasons makes! This is a must read for people who haven't seen it... http://espn.go.com/page2/s/halloran/020127.html
  19. I hate Killians. So many people love it, but it has a dead, almost stale spot in its aftertaste. I have tried it a little warmer than freezing cold, and it is a little bit better a few degrees warmer, but all around I hate the beer.
  20. Tom Brady - I can't stand anyone who is so sickeningly "perfect." I'd like to run him over with my lawn mower. My second choice is Bill Belechick.
  21. I have been playing for 6 years, handicap is 15.8. 27 years old, I am a pretty long hitter, my short game deserts me from time and I tend to have a hard time keeping it in play off of the tee which costs me some strokes.
  22. Is this the old ninth green at nine Tivo set coming up?
  23. I am rooting for Ozzie Smith's son, has a great voice, and a great dad!
