  1. Sure, the jury is still out on what the Bills got in EJ. But this drivel was WAY over the top, especially by Skip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxrjajikasU
  2. Here it is. Man...the pundits that do these draft reviews are a bunch of a$$-clowns. I could more accurately predict the weather in May of 2015 than they can evaluate talent. It truly is a joke...this is a great read: http://blog.thenewstribune.com/seahawks/2012/04/29/morning-links-hawks-get-thumbs-down-on-draft-class/
  3. You live in Virginia, not up here in the cold. Your life is 13 x better than you think it is
  4. We've won just one road game in the past year, Pats are still way better at the skill positions. Where they suffer is (both) lines, their offensive and defensive lines are week.
  5. What about Megatron's catch in Week 1 last year - that's a touchdown and was ruled incomplete. That was an even worse call than the touchdown last night. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d81a77070/Controversial-call-on-Megatron-non-TD
  6. What's all this "Best since Kelly" crap? Alex Van Pelt was at least as good as Fitz...and I'm a Fitz fan and supporter
  7. "Rife with playmakers"??? Cracks me up! I love the Bills SOOOO much - but man, that's bromance talk!
  8. I read somewhere that there is about 7 minutes of "real" action in an NFL game. If you eliminate the times between the whistle and the next snap - there's very little going on. Also, they should eliminate the huddle after a false start or illegal formation penalty. If you have a false start, screw the 30 seconds of standing around...why meet in the backfield again when you already have a play called.
  9. Wasn't there a "more cowbell" avatar on here somewhere?
  10. Judging from last night - Cruz in the endzone, etc... he will get away with it.
  11. Do you guys ever remember seeing an easier end to the season than the 7 games that the Bills play this year? I can't recall an breez-ier walk through the last month and a half than what they will be dealt this year. I also can't remember the Dolphins and Jets both being so weak at the same time...or at least it's been a while.
  12. Bubba Watson... "Never taken a lesson and never even watched my swing on video or had any video analysis of my swing" - he's won a major and a score of other events...great golfer and what does he say? "I'm a feel player"... that could be Fitzy. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
  13. Pujols is at ZERO home runs and only 5 RBI's 104 at bats and over a month into the season. A friend wants to bet that he will get to 30 homers and 100 RBI's and is willing to put a hundred dollars on it. I don't think he will get there. Probably more like 25 and 85, and that's with no time on the DL and assuming he gets his projected 650 plate appearances. What do you guys think? Would you take that bet?
  14. I would have loved to see the other defensive back that was running and celebrating next to Florence lay Brady out with a vicous, legal block. That would have been amazing, and it would have been a legal hit - because Brady was no longer a QB at that point.
  15. Did you mean Dooms-dayers, or Nay-sayers? Or a combination of both?
  16. I am SOOO done with everyone on WEEI Sports talk radio, as well as Comcast Sports Net, ESPN Boston, NBC locally, and every writer and color commentary guy as well as every ex-Patriots player who ever lived giving us NO CHANCE against the Pats tomorrow. I wish some would step up an eat their words after we smoke them. I have no doubts we are going to bring them down a peg and knock Marcia on his lily rump tomorrow!
  17. To me the turnover differential and the red-zone efficiency are the 2 keys here. There's no doubt that the Pats will move the ball against our defense, especially because of their no-huddle. I don't see the Pats weak defense stopping Fred Jackson and our young receivers. That being said, the team that turns it over will lose, and the team that doesn't score touchdowns in the red zone will lose. I actually wouldn't be surprised if we see Chan kick the field goal a couple of times on 4th and short, and it costs us a few points. He showed that in 4th and short against the Raiders, despite the fact that our defense hadn't gotten any strong stops early in that game (one was good, one was blocked) I think the Pats will view getting off the field and only giving up 3 as a moral victory and a successful result against the Bills, and I think the Bills will do the same. Turnovers are huge - the Pats LOSE that game (or could have) if the Chargers didn't make 4 trips to their 30 yard line and get nothing out of it (happened last Sunday) and instead have 4 turnovers (one on downs). If the Bills can force a fumble or two or get a couple of picks - then it's a different game. Red zone scoring and turnovers are the two keys - it's good to see that the Bills don't have to play perfect football to win (when in past years, they did) A lot of unknowns can happen - that's what makes me more pumped up for this game than I have been for a regular season game in years. We could see a batted ball at the line of scrimmage lead to an easy pick for our defense, or we can see a costly overtime drop like Stevie had last year against Pittsburgh, and a whole lot of other individual matchups that are going to be SOOO FUN to watch. Can't wait to see whether Merriman or Haynsworth have an impact first and which one responds to their underwhelming starts to the season. At corner, I can't wait to see if it's our rooke Williams getting burned or their depleted youngsters that struggle. I hope that if Fitz throws a couple of ducks or mis-reads in the spread - that they fall harmlessly to the turf instead of the dreaded pick 6. I'd LOVE to see us generate a pass rush with our ends, as neither team has done a good job getting pressure without the blitz. This Sunday is going to be a BLAST!
  18. 7 of those 10 took Indy last week, and 8 of them took the Vikings...what a joke group!
  19. My money goes to Chandler - more Red Zone targets overall this season and he's more hungry. There are 2 Gronkowski's on that Pats team and Aaron Hernandez coming back - my pick is Chandler for the AFC Pro-Bowl tight end
