What we need is something Palmer brings to the table,and that is separation. Some speed with that is great, but if we can get wr's who create space on a post then it can turn a 20+ yards pass into a 50. As for the deep ball, again a yard of separation would do wonders.

I think you nailed it. His arm release isn't right to throw a deep ball. You need a little more "over the top" release on the ball. Can he do that? Sure. But for some reason he doesn't.

Josh has improved on everything he has needed to up to this point. Why can't he correct his deep ball is an interesting question.

They believe their picks of Kincaid and Coleman are going to make some big leap in play. We shouldn't have to wait imho. Look at what other WR could have done for us. BTJ is a guy we could have traded up for.

Then adapt and make a change. I think they get stuck on players,and when they aren't there, they don't know what to do.

@GunnerBill thank-you as always. I heard Beane essentially justify not getting a WR because of how the Offense did last year, it pisses me off. WR with deep speed was a need going Into the draft and even McDermott said at the combine we must stretch the field vertically. I don't know what to think anymore.

I feel our talent will allow many more options which makes us more effective.

I agree, this could be the best DL in a long time. We should be able to bring pressure on a consistent basis with the depth we now have.

Hear me out. Base 4-3 would be like this... DL: Groot DE Oliver 3T Walker 1T Jackson DE Milano OLB. (Edited lol) Hoecht ILB Bernard OLB For Big nickle Bosa takes Jackson's spot, and TJ Sanders takes over 1 tech. It's realistic and against Baltimore I open in that 4-3. Michael Hoecht is a guy we can put everywhere and heck he even covered DK Metcalf in the slot when he played for the Rams. I guess my overall point is, after week 6 we finally have a ton of flexibility in how we play defense after FA and this draft. Thoughts? ( other than you might think I'm crazy 🤪)
