  1. he is still mad the Bills stole the no huddle offense.
  2. no, not at all. The whole broadcast needs to relax. They call every play like its some historical moment instead of just letting the game breathe. It gets tiring after awhile. We all know Allen and Mahomes are unicorns. It doesn't need to be stated every play. Madden used to do that with favre and it was always completely un needed within the broadcast of a regular season game.
  3. WIth Denver and LA now playing great defense and getting good play out of their quarterbacks...this is going to be one of the hardest roads to the super bowl in the afc in recent years...which is saying a lot.
  4. I get crap here all the time for my hatred of Andy Reid. I hate his aww shucks who me routine he has been pulling forever...i just can't stand the guy. and I present to you the gameplan Reid came out with. He came out and featured worthy, he ran a trick play to worthy to start the game... why? Because thats who he is. He is petty. He didn't just want to win the game he wanted the noise that comes with the worthy stuff. He wanted to stick it to the bills front office and say look what I can do with what you gave me. He wanted to Throw it in the Bills face in front 0f their fans knowing that if they win the talk will be about how you cant give him weapons and how smart he is. I hate him and always have. this is who he has always been. Love beating him.
  5. non optimal game? The bills spent two offseasons building a bigger more physical offense so that they can win games like they did last year and this game tonight. All qb's miss throws. Allen was awesome tonight and ryan vandermark deserves a game ball for hanging in there and not sinking their battleship tonight.
  6. this is how all the great big games go. Legends are made and lost in that one play.
  7. Amazing game. Beyond impressive to take the ball and sit on it and score 30 vs that defense missing a couple of key guys. Whatever happens going forward we can enjoy each of every day for the next 13 days before the next one.
  8. k they need to get to the bills game.
  9. old tradition. The marino dummies hanging in the trees always made me laugh back in the 90s.
  10. I sure hope that isn't his role. If he is that is major misuse of resources. He needs to go make plays on third down. Allen is going to be under a ton of pressure especially if Buffalo falls behind early so they need cooper to be a third down machine today. someone has to beat man coverage and they traded for him to do exactly that.
  11. He is active. We shall see how much he plays. Personally I am not holding my breath he plays more than 50% of the plays.
  12. I wonder if Elam is sick or something. Figured they would go long at wr, te or o-line today but surprised to see elam out.
  13. this steeles ravens game is running way late which means those of us out of market are going to miss the start of the bills game I bet.
  14. Someone is holding a sign that is the meme with kelce looking at swift looking at Allen right behind JB's big head 0n the cbs pregame
  15. I can’t get out of my head that the chiefs are the best third down offense in the league and Torrence and van de mark are going to have to deal with jones plus extra guys from pressure today. feel like this could be a long afternoon and then a long two weeks.
  16. wow now people's first posts here are attacking me. Great. and to answer the question there is no scenario where I would ever want andy reid coaching the team I root for. I do not like him or any of his GB pals. Never Will.
  17. I am the OP. The thread is about how teams trying to 3peat have had their season ended. of the 5 teams who made the playoffs again 3 of them lost to the same opponent in the playoffs as they did the regular season. its not about the bills chiefs recent history. It was meant as history says the bills need to win this game because of that specific history.
  18. we all are. I imagine they play a bunch of 11 personnel. I hope they line up and run a lot even though everything says not to.
  19. The point about teams trying to three peat kind of says the opposite though. that is what it was about. How teams have finished their season trying to three peat.
  20. that is fine. The point was historically what has happened with teams who are attempting a threepeat.
  21. Yes there were some bigger plodders there were not the tweener type, some of the best to do it I might add, Randy White, Howie Long etc.. but there were a whole bunch of outside guys who were just like todays edge tweener pass rushers. I would bet the amount of great or above average edge pass rushers in that era is as good as todays. LT, Haley, Mann, Jackson, Swilling, Greene, gastineau etc. On par (or better) than todays best. again, Joe Jacoby had to block LT, Jim Jeffcoat (plus all the other cowboy rushers), the eagles fronts with buddy ryan in the division plus Ken Harvey a pretty good player for the cardinals in that era. Had I mentioned a bunch of guys from the 60s I would get your point but since it was guys from the 80s and 90s your point doesn't really hold water especially since these guys had to actually block LT regularly.
  22. It sucks that all those tickets were available on the secondary market and it kind of flies in the face of Buffalo being the little guy and speaks poorly on the fans selling for profit. Have to get used to it though because after next year it will be the norm in the new place when 50% of the fans will be visiting teams fans.
  23. I assure you those guys I mentioned played against some great pass rushers. The edge rusher term really came from the amount of teams playing multiple fronts on defense....is he a 4-3 end or a 3-4 OLB.....turned into Edge or Edge rusher. Taylor is the greatest to ever rush the paser but there were a lot of guys who were great at it in the 80s and 90s the era of the guys I posted. Jacoby for instance played his entire career blocking LT twice a year and then a few times again in the playoffs. Bubba paris had to play against all the greats with the niners winning so many titles and being in the playoffs every year but in the regular season he had to play rickey jackson and pat swilling twice a year and kevin greene once he showed up in LA. I could go on about pass rushers in the 80's most of whom played olb in a 34 front and some who were the exact size of todays tweeners who played in a 4-3. Mark Gastineau, Charles Mann, Charles Haley, Richard Dent, Clay Matthews, LT, Pat Swilling, Rickey Jackson, Karl Mecklenburg, Kevn Greene etc.
  24. McDermott told Sal Not Playing, Keon, Kincaid, Milano. spencer and cooper are limited and questionable. Long term for kincaid? He is week to week. They will know more about Spencer today and he is day to day.
  25. It's broken down in sections with spacing. Not sure what is hard to read about this. I am just pointing out the historical aspects of the matchup. All of those superbowl winning teams changed too.
