im watching it now for some fun before I get to work this morning and the pass rush is just a bunch of guys stuck to the lineman in front of them, especially everyones savior. this has to improve. The run defense is the run defense but they will not win against good teams later in the year with this pass rush.

My biggest takeaways. The run game is still awesome. Mcdermott's philosophy of allowing teams to have the numbers up front in the running game and challenging opposing offenses to stay with it and prove they can score Touchdowns via the run game is frustrating as hell to watch but has worked again so far this year. I expect with Milano, Oliver and Hoecht back soon they will play the run a little better. My final opinion so far is that as I thought all offseason the defensive free agents they have signed have not really accounted for much. The drafted players have been underwhelming though hawes and walker look like players that will help them win games all year. The rest of the class is hurt/inactive or not playing. Strong has filled in admirably but I don't think the plan is to have him out there late in the year. Fingers crossed hoecht actually can help the defense.

Cam Lewis missed tackle on the opening drive was pretty bad. I believe this is two weeks in a row the bills have missed a tackle on the opening drive that would have forced a punt!

Sound idea. i have been practicing driving on the opposite side of the street late at night in case I am ever on the run and end up in Europe. all from the passenger seat too which has made it a real challenge

Everything the nfl does is about ratings which equals money. its hard for a lot of people to hear this but its a big world. Bad bunny is a huge artist. i know the majority of people here probably think someone like Metallica should play the super bowl but the nfl is not marketing to middle age to old white men. Those days are long over. I am in this demo and love music and my time and generation is long long gone. Honestly who cares who plays the Super Bowl halftime show? It’s a 15 minute promotional video to sell iTunes downloads and get Spotify views/listens.

yea well this way works better. hopefully with oliver and milano back the run defense gets better as the season goes on. frustrating as hell to watch, but they don’t give up points and it takes forever for opposing offenses to drive the length of the field via the run and then score td’s.

two weeks in a row, the opposing qb has an efficient day but literally almost no yards. 17 completions for 111 yards. that is great pass defense. this is why mcdermott plays the run the way he does. most teams can turn running into points.
