This brewers collapse is so ridiculous I bet even Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers are embarrassed for them. this is like one of their trademark postseason games. well the Brewers did just that.

4-2 Mets. Jessie Winker scoring after nearly getting into a fight with willy adames in game 1 is incredible. and that is why you don't taunt or talk about people until you have won the game/series.
-
OMG Pete Alonso just hit a three run homer in the top of the 9th down 2-0 in Milwaukee. Incredible.

The brewers just hit back to back Homeruns and now lead the Mets 2-0 in the bottom of the 7th. Former Yankee Jake Bauers hit the first one

Sounds like Dawkins will play and Shakir will be a gametime decision. I personally believe shakir can not practice all week and just get treatement and still play. seems like a no for sure on rapp and johnson. Johnson has an oblique injury so I wonder if he goes to IR saturday. -

What Dianna’s Hearing: The teams talking Davante Adams (so far) Davante Adams is waiting on Las Vegas to trade him as he nurses a hamstring injury. The Raiders receiver is not expected to be active against the Broncos this week amidst the dialogue. As of now, the Jets, Steelers, and Saints are the teams in contact with the Raiders’ front office to discuss trade scenarios. Though that doesn’t mean teams like Buffalo and Kansas City aren’t interested; those two, specifically, are monitoring the situation and willing to get aggressive if the Raiders are willing to pay some of Adams’ contract. As one GM pointed out: “The money is a lot, and so is the money moving forward.” Below, Jacob dives deeper into the situation. Buffalo Bills Offer: A 2025 third-round pick and CB Kaiir Elam for Adams and a 2025 seventh-round pick The Bills have had promising early returns on slot receiver Khalil Shakir, rookie Keon Coleman and tight end Dalton Kincaid. However, the rest of the receiver group rings hollow without a prominent top option. In a quest to reach the Super Bowl in a wide-open AFC, they could use a receiver of Adams’ caliber, if only for one season, to complete an already-imposing offense. As for the offer, the Bills have some draft picks to play with in 2025 but only a little cap space ($3.2 million) and are low on contracts to restructure. If the Raiders were willing to eat the majority of Adams’ remaining base salary, the Bills could make it work. — Joe Buscaglia

September football. Everyone is figuring out who they are and the teams are figuring it how to use their players and what works. Like buffalo they have injured players. -
thats fine. I don't buy into the #1 wr as a savior theory, I actually hate it and think it is a misuse of resources. if you think the missing link for Buffalo is a number 1 wr like Devante Adams that is fine. My response is he is a diva who is already unhappy and possibly nursing a hamstring injury that could linger and then of course there is the issue that he played with maybe a top 5 all time qb in Green bay and in six years of post season play there never even played in a super bowl.
-
people keep mentioning cooper and his an excellent wr and affordable but he was dealt from Dallas to Cle for a fifth because he just plays hard when he feels like it and does not want to play hurt. If they could guarantee they get max effort from him he is a guy worth being interested in because he is a great route runner and is not a diva. He just is quirky. You can read about it here. https://athlonsports.com/cowboys-country/news/dallas-cowboys-shrinkage-amari-cooper-problem-browns-contract-holdout-ceedee-lamb

just saying would have and should have do not mean anything. Those guys didn't win the super bowl. Most of the great WR in the history did not win a super bowl.

I have no response to this response.

I could have played baseball at Cortland and then been drafted and been a part of the Yankees dynasty. But I didnt and I wasn't. Now tell me about the line of scrimmage of the teams that actually won the superbowls. The game is won there late in the year and in the postseason.

again I disagree and its ok that we have a different opinion.

well i disagree. A 2 is to be used as a team building block and not a throwaway on a diva who agreed to a record contract to get his money but now wants out because he is sad they are losing. He knew who the Raiders were when he signed there no matter what happened with Gruden. Cole Bishop, O'Cyrus Torrence, James Cook, AJ Espenesa and Keon Coleman trumps the miss on boogie basham by the way also. The last thing this team needs is another disgruntled wr to come in as a savior especially when everything he does will be compared to what he did with the golden boy from cal in dairyland. stay the course and improve the wr room if an affordable option comes up on a guy who puts team first.
-
Yes I understand. in the end usually the championship teams do not have one of these (#1) guys. Most of the greatest wr in history have zero championships. Its about the line of scrimmage and always has been. yea that is what I thought. They are just posting to post.
