  1. I get that everyone thinks McDaniel is getting fired and it makes sense but who are they promoting on that staff? They have a bunch of former hot names that fizzled out on their way up the ladder. Guys like Darrell bevell, Joe Barry, Bobby skowik. i would guess Joe Barry or Anthony weaver gets promoted to head coach but what difference will that make. Seems if McDaniel is gone the whole thing falls apart even more. they are in a bad spot. I am not sure who has been a worse coach so far, McDaniel or daboll? the giants are on a path to win 4 games tops and yet another top 10 draft pick.
  2. I fear this will lead to a 7-10 ish season for the bengals and a house cleaning. Which makes me believe Joe Brady would be the top option to take over in Cincy and i don’t think any of us wants that.
  3. Brady said in the pregame yesterday that ball control and running the clock was a point of emphasis for the game. so I guess the plan was to make the jets front play the run first and slow them down. so knowing that was the mindset it makes sense they didn’t come out throwing 20 yard shots. Even having said that Allen got his arm hit as he was throwing or he would have had a 20 plus yard td to Palmer early in the game.
  4. colts broncos game is great. Looked like pat surtain popped his achilles and or tore something in his ankle area. Big loss for denver.
  5. This broncos colts game, is there a beef I don't I dont know about or something? Every play there is stuff going on after the play and taunting and stuff.
  6. yea but no one knew if he was active or actually starting. He took warmups with the 1's.
  7. no reason to do that. this team is always riddled with injuries. If you get rid of him and someone gets hurt then what? they can handle his money so just let him sit until they need him because at some point they will
  8. sal said white is starting today.
  9. listening to Joe Brady on the pregame show and he said a big point of emphasis for them is staying on the field and controlling the clock. Keon Coleman, Everything he did in the offseason translated into week 1 and there is so much more he can do. There are high expectations for him and today he will deal with physical corners who will have their hands 0n him. on Aaron glenn, has familiarity with him and his d lines play with a lot energy and he can see him putting his mark on the defense in ny. on the tight ends, 13 personnel, we want to see more of it because we have unique personnel and can tip the game in our favor. We feel good about our tight ends.
  10. good question. He practiced so it cant be that bad. I think they have a lot of players with similar traits so he sits do to lack of experience. Hopefully the staff made a point about db's putting their head down and tackling. Hancock did it in the preseason and then we saw it again in the game last week. Someone is going to get a serious neck injury.
  11. so lewis and ingram will play the nickel and dime spots today i guess. Can't imagine they are in dime much. Hancock not being active when taron is out is interesting.
  12. No one offers this anymore. NFL + used to have all the games and radio broadcasts but they just do not archive the radio broadcasts anymore. the nfl is terrible with the radio stuff. The games are out of synch unlike the mlb package which has all games home and away radio broadcasts in synch and archives them. why the nfl does not make this available I will never understand, audio files take basically no space and it’s simple to encode and archive.
  13. I didn’t realize the giants are hosting the chiefs week 3 on SNF. the chiefs maybe rolling into New York 0-2 vs the 0-2 giants. They might win by 35. if daboll gets blown out in that game he and schoen are probably all done. One of them might not make it to Thanksgiving and both will be out after the season for sure.
  14. Why did Pantysnatcher do this to Ed!!
  15. They do this to get than insane value of the franchise jump. They will be worth multiple billions more if they build a stadium and that is the bottom line with these soul less corporate creeps. Talking about climate control and Fan comfort is the BS front they put out there.
  16. Spent the whole offseason with the Jets. This is one of those fun sign a guy who was cut from the team you are playing things.
  17. Here is an idea. Had Brandon Beane not burned the Bills third round pick for A pedestrian Amari Cooper because he panicked when shakir was hurt the Bills could have simply drafted Xavier Watts. Apparently Watts had a very good game against Tampa sunday. Xavier Watts, Falcons rookies have impressive debut Safety Xavier Watts was solid in coverage throughout the game, nearly intercepting two different passes and making some tough solo tackles. Watts finished the game with six solo tackles and two passes defended. Billy Bowman Jr. was flying all around the ball and held his own in coverage as well. While the Falcons did not start James Pearce Jr. or Jalon Walker, both rookies got plenty of playing time. Walker had three tackles and Pearce finished with one QB hit.
  18. https://www.newyorkjets.com/news/jets-sign-isaiah-williams-release-xavier-gipson-09-10-2025 The Jets have signed WR Isaiah Williams and released WR Xavier Gipson. Williams (5-10, 185), a second-year player from Illinois, joins the Green & White after a stint on the Cincinnati Bengals' practice squad. An undrafted free agent who signed with the Detroit Lions on May 10, 2024, Williams started his rookie season with Detroit before being waived by the Lions on Nov. 7. Appearing in 8 games (2 with Detroit and 6 with Cincinnati), Williams had 11 PRs for 93 yards (8.5 average) with the Bengals. The St. Louis, MO native led the Big Ten in 2023 in receptions (82) and ranked second in receiving yards (1055), while returning 11 punts for 127 yards (11.5). He was named first-team All-Big Ten as a WR and honorable mention All-Big Ten as a return specialist. Gipson (5-9, 189), a Stephen F. Austin product who signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2023, played 35 games for the Green & White and had 27 receptions for 268 yards with 1 TD. He averaged 8.9 yards on 68 punt returns with 1 TD and also averaged 26 yards on 44 kick returns.
  19. Taron Johnson and Shaq Thompson out of practice today. Tre White Will practice. Taron Johnson has a quad injury.
  20. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6611454/2025/09/09/aaron-glenn-jets-opening-loss/ The Aaron Glenn Jets did something on Sunday that hasn’t been done since … the Aaron Glenn Jets. Against the Steelers, the Jets scored 32 points and held the ball for 32 minutes. Before Sunday, the Jets were 53-1 when they scored at least 30 points and held the ball for at least 32 minutes, according to Football Perspective. The one loss? That came in 1998, when the Jets lost in Week 1 to the 49ers 36-30 in overtime. Glenn, a Jets corner, had to cover Jerry Rice that day.
  21. Reading what I have so far on the jets it seems Brandon Stephens and Tony Adams had pretty bad games. If the Bills can protect up front I would imagine they are going to throw the ball early to setup the run late. Apparently their linebackers Sherwood and williams struggled in coverage also. Seems like the Gameplan here to beat the jets would be to get an early lead and force the jets to throw the football, they look like they can run block as well as anyone but might have some issues in pass protection if they are throwing 30+ times. So I guess at its basic level the Bills coming out and attacking the linebackers and safeties with Knox, Kincaid and Shakir could set the table for everything else. Have to block that front though and it looks pretty damn good.
  22. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6616098/2025/09/10/new-york-jets-xavier-gipson-release/ The Jets plan to release wide receiver and return specialist Xavier Gipson on Wednesday, according to a team source. Gipson, who beat out undrafted rookie Jamaal Pritchett for the primary punt return role this summer, had a costly fumble on a kickoff return in Sunday’s season-opening loss to the Steelers. Gipson, who was filling in on kickoffs after primary kick returner Kene Nwangwu suffered a hamstring injury earlier in the game, lost a fumble when returning a kickoff in the fourth quarter. Pittsburgh, who had cut the Jets’ lead to two before that kickoff, scored another touchdown two plays after the fumble to take a five-point lead. The Steelers, led by former Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, eventually won 32-30.
  23. Screw the Broncos and that scumbag family that owns the team.
