Who isn’t giving their opponents credit? All I’ve heard from the players to coaches are praises for the opponents when the Bills lose. If you’re referring to fans opinions here then it’s irrelevant.

Balt wins and Lamar will be playing in the Superbowl. You can’t make a deeper playoffs run than that. Allen would be considered 4th best in most people’s eyes if that happens. It’s great that we keep expecting Allen and the Bills to get it done but the task seems more and more improbable with each passing season. From a reputation standpoint KC winning would be better for Allen. But I agree with you that Balt will win. They’re such a complete team. Lamar has improved as a qb.

Maybe next year the Bills can find a way to avoid Mahomes AND Burrow in the playoffs. They can surely make it with that scenario right?

Not at all unreasonable to rather watch Allen than Purdy/Goff. Especially being Bills fans. But there’s also two other guys still playing that are very electrifying. Mahomes is the best qb in the league and Lamar is considered the most exciting qb by a lot of people. With 2 MVPs and most likely a Superbowl appearance after this weekend many with put him above Allen going into next year. Our boy has got to step up next season.

29. Best believe Cincy would not trade Burrow for Allen. The KC fans that I know think Allen is top 3. They think Burrow is #2. Any KC fans that think Allen is trash would be comparable to Bills fans thinking Allen is better than Mahomes. Both opinions are lacking objectively.

Do these pointless hypotheticals make fans feel better about the Bills? Or Allen specifically? I’m sure Allen wants to succeed with this team and its coaching staff. He will continue to be criticized until he does succeed. And that’s a good thing because everyone can see his talent. If he’s like say Baker Mayfield no one would care when he keeps coming up short. So take that as a positive. As for Mahomes. He’s going to his 6th Conference Championship game in his 6th starting season. No matter how much of a homer you are you’d have to acknowledge that’s incredible. Give the guy his props. It’s ok to congratulate opposing teams’ players. Geez Bills fans. The mental gymnastics some go through just to convince themselves that Allen is the best. If he’s the best there wouldn’t have to be any hypotheticals. It’s a really sad exercise that keeps popping up every few months. Especially after the Bills lose.

This is a difficult thing to do because most in the fanbase already shoed Allen in for at least 2 titles. It’s hard to accept that he might not even get to one much less win it.

Jones lines up both in and out. They move him around. The game sealing sack on Burrow in the AFCCG last year came from lining up outside. I’m sure Bills coaching staff knows this.

If anything luck were on the Bills side last night. It was all about execution and this team fails time and time again at the most crucial moments. So no. They could not have beaten Balt or SF. You’re right. A TD is not guaranteed if they picked up the first. That’s why I said almost. However, I think Bass could make the easier kick to tie the game with minimal time left. Giving yourself the best chance to win.

Except the ones KC won are all the ones that mattered. Bills fans gotta stop propping up regular season wins over KC going forward. Gotta get ‘em in the playoffs.

By throwing short to Diggs you’re almost guaranteed a win or, at worst, OT. Throwing it deep there didn’t give them the best odds of winning given how the defense has played. Too much time left. Allen couldn’t help himself. Not blaming him for the loss but he definitely could’ve made a better decision to secure a win.

So are a lot of others.

This loss was inexcusable. They finally got KC at home when it mattered most. KC has been vulnerable all year. The fans brought it this game. That was the most hostile environment KC has played in the playoffs. Team let the fans down. We can’t be celebrating regular season wins over KC while getting owned when it matters most.
