Not disagreeing with you about how Araiza will do but a punter being a weapon is more than distance punting like you’re suggesting. KC’s punter from last year signed with Houston for big (punter) money because he is weapon. He was just as good with pinning their opponents deep with touch punts and flipping the field on power punts on those occasions they struggled on their end of the field.

I completely get your pov. Hard to dismiss the abysmal regular season stats. I’d be shocked if he’s not on the final roster. Let’s see how he can contribute in the playoffs. Like you I’m not very optimistic about his regular season contributions.

It may or may not transpire that way but there’s historical prove backing up that optimism. During the 2022 AFGCG KC receivers were almost all injured leaving MVS as the only viable starter left in that game. He stepped up and KC went on to the Super Bowl. During last year’s playoffs run he was hauling in timely tough catches including 2 against the Bills. So there’s a reason for optimism.

It can bring timely catches in big moments. Sometimes it’s not only about the overall stats of a player.

He was a big reason KC made the Super Bowl in ‘22. Despite a bad regular season last year he made crucial catches in the playoffs to help them again. Hopefully he can bring that success to the Bills.

My opinion is KC missing their secondary leader in Mathieu led to alot of coverage miscommunications that resulted in Gabe looking like a hof wr in that game. A performance he was never able to duplicate during his time here. Despite those injuries KC was able to overcome and won that game. Much like Cincy overcoming their OL injuries and beat us in their playoff game here. On the flip side, it’s apparently impossible for us to win any big playoff games because of injuries according to posters. That was my point.

KC secondary was missing a few starters but no one wants to hear that. Anyway it’s been 3 seasons and several heartaches ago let’s forget that game.

Yeah but he’s only 13 rushing TD’s away from breaking Bills’ record for rushing TD’s and be the best RB in team history. Let’s bulldoze more LB’s this season!

I don’t think it’s a non issue. But having another speedster on the other side is going to help Worthy to get off the line. Also Reid’s play calling will be significant for his success.
