  1. Fasten Your Seatbelts Honestly, I can't think of any incidents over the course of history where an unhinged leader of Germany has caused anything bad.
  2. Plus it needs more cowbell. Oh, wait, that was last year.....
  3. We were intelligently designed from monkeys....but some of us just didn't make it over the hump.
  4. Dan Rather has a good cry Cue the Twilight Zone music. Did Dan Rather think he could spend his entire career as a political activist posing as a journalist and not have it bite him in the ass one day? Apparently he did. But, Dan, is there any current journalism you do like? In other words, he fully approves of the race-baiting, Bush-bashing, melodramatic, editorializing coverage by the teleprompter readers- ERRRRRRRRR, journalists who don't know the first thing about disaster relief and aren't willing to learn so they can provide such information to their audiences.
  5. BINGO. It's tough for the defense to stop anyone when they're on the field for the entire game. 1-2-3-and-out from the offense isn't helping.
  6. Is that what they said? Can someone actually re-cap what was said on PTI? Thanks in advance.
  7. What, you mean THIS? And you have to love how it ends: That's all the attention they give to what she actually has to say. Then again, she's much less useful to CNN as the "Anti-War Mom" if they reveal that she's also against the "occupation" of New Orleans and thinks we invaded Iraq on behalf of Halliburton and Israel (in that order).

  9. Anyone who complains about 19 year olds drinking alcohol is lame.
  10. Schaub gets a lot of attention as a back-up who could start but you never know until it happens. People write in to the Altanta Journal and Constitution every week about how Schaub needs to start someday. But he's not nearly as good as Vick when he finally gets to play. At least, not so far. EDIT: I think the point is that fans always have wild fantasies about how great the guy on the bench is because they've never seen him in a game. Struggling. There are people on this message board who can't get a handle on how poorly JP played yesterday....
  11. I think most fans anticipated a move towards a darker blue when the new uniforms were first announced. Once we saw them, though, not many people were as crazy about the idea. In other uniform news, the same guy designed the current LA Angels and Washington Nationals baseball uniforms. He seems to be a new star in the world of uniform design. The Blue Jays should've had him do their new uniforms a couple years back.
  12. When you find out, let me know. I'll write one. If it's email, we should CC Mr. Wilson, though I think a permanent move back to medium blue has to be in the works at this point already.
  13. (edit: that should be in response to the post with the link to the commercial. what the hell was that?)
  14. You mock me for having "predictable" views and in the same breath you completely miss what I'm saying. I don't "hate" Cindy Sheehan. I pity her. She lost her son, her husband just filed for divorce, and she talks in gibbirish. I "hate" the media for misrepresenting her as something she is not. Try to understand what I'm saying (and repeating over and over for your sake) before you whine about my "lack of nuance."
  15. NY Times proves my point Another "excellent" article today on Mrs. Sheehan by NY Times. Of course they don't cover any of the loony things this woman says or writes because then the people who aren't paying close attention on their own might actually know she's completely unhinged and not worth listening to. If they only print the "non-crazy" things she says, she actually seems like a legitimate voice against the War in Iraq, which is all the NY Times is looking for. *Cough* promoted by the media *Cough*
  16. What an adorable reply! Would you like to address any of what I said or are you content with the strawman stuff you just tried to get away with? If it's just the latter, stop wasting everyone's time.
  17. I don't mind passing but it was obvious they were coming with the blitz so have a receiver ready to catch the ball 1-2 seconds after it's snapped! JP didn't have a lot of time so have plays where he can dump the ball! I liked the move. Give JP a series off; he was bashing his head against a wall for the entire game up to that point. He seemed better when he returned.
  18. They get tired when you go 3-and-out even when not in the no huddle. That's what happened today.
  19. No. The uniforms were the best part of the game today.
  20. Offensive line played like Weekend at Bernie's. Seriously, we couldn't run or throw and when nothing is working that means we're either being completely outcoached or overrun at the line. JP didn't look good but he made some things happen with his legs a few times. McGahee didn't look good either. I guess these are the problems that come with such young players in such huge roles. I don't blame our defense. They played great until they were on the field WAY too much (which started right after the safety). I was in a bar and busy drinking through much of the game, but does anyone know why we didn't try to send the receivers downfield? Or throw over the middle? Every pass was an out pattern....
  21. No, wait, don't you mean h---- ah, screw it, words are hard and football will be here in 20 minutes!
  22. Helmet from the Jim Kelly years, uniforms from the AFL glory days. I'd like to see a pair of medium blue pants as well, and let's make sure the cleats are always black. Navy blue has no place on a Buffalo Bills uniform. Red, white, and blue all the way.
  23. Hmm, almost a little bittersweet since we're only supposed to wear them twice this season. Means it may be the last time we see them for a year. On the other hand, I think the NFL just changed it's rules so that teams can wear their alternates up to 3 times per season so maybe we'll sneek them in again later. It's never been more obvious which uniforms are preferred by fans and players alike. These HAVE TO be our permanent uniforms soon.
