  1. Mmm Hmm, so you don't think it's disturbing that a woman this nuts could have been promoted by major news outlets for weeks at a time as someone important? What I wrote about summarizes the real problem that Cindy Sheehan brought attention to - our hopelessly corrupt and inept media. People should know the truth about the individuals they promote. And by promote, I mean PROMOTE. She was never asked a difficult question despite the icon status bestowed upon her. Also, it's a good thing you've finally stopped defending her. You may have been one of the very last people to realize she has absolutely no credibility but at least you finally came around.
  2. I'm actually surprised Keith Olberman hasn't done his show while wearing a tin foil hat. I'm pretty sure he was the very last person in the world to accept that Bush won last November. He did a little breathless reporting about "voter irregularities" but then dropped it when it turned out he had no evidence whatsoever. His ratings suck and he's a moron. I have no idea why he's still on TV.
  3. Vanek is awesome.
  4. Or what? Are you going to go back to telling us what a sane woman this is? Yeah, that worked out well.... No, my concern isn't with Mrs. Sheehan. It's with our failed mainstream media who, in the weeks before their gross distortion of Hurricane Katrina, spent a great deal of their time presenting this woman to the world as someone important. Shows their high standards of journalistic integrity.
  5. When I saw "Disturbed" I thought of the band Staind and it took me a few seconds to figure out who was who. Damn, I can't even tell these bands apart any more....must be getting old.... Let me know when the new Deftones record comes out.
  6. Wow, nice response. Did it make any sense at all? Let's find out.... Defend him from what? Accusations that he "doesn't care about black people"? That he and Cheney work for Halliburton? That New Orleans is "occupied"? Seriously, most of the attacks on Bush are so lame that the only defense you need against them is two brains cells working at the same time. When is the last time anyone went back to "Clinton got a BJ" on this board to defend Bush? No - !@#$ that - when is the first time anyone used that??
  7. I think "Bush Bad!" is actually the name of the liberal handbook.....
  8. Oh my God, you mean to tell me that a 21 year old man was arrested on Austin's Sixth Street for being drunk????? This is unheard of!!! This may be the first time in the history of the world that this has happened. It's definitely the first time it's happened here in Austin, TX, and especially on Sixth Street where most nights there is nothing but Bible Study and bake sales. This is a scandal. A SCANDAL. And the country - no, the world - needs to know about the President's Brother's son getting drunk at the tender age of 21 when, as far as I know, no one in America would even touch a glass.
  9. Michael Moore filed Cindy's latest under "Must Read" "Must Read" Wow, just wow. It sure is a good thing that CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, and FOX all felt it was important to cover this woman non-stop for several weeks this summer.
  10. Think so. I remember they played that when we scored and "I should've been a cowboy" by Toby Keith during either the 3rd or 4th SB we were in.
  11. A few weeks ago he remarked that the Founding Fathers were basically terrorists in a way....and then had to "clarify" his remarks the next day. If you often say things you have to "clarify" later, you're probably a complete asshat and you probably meant exactly what you said the first time around.
  12. Ha! I think he already said he's working on F 9/11 part 2. Michael Moore isn't stupid. He doesn't believe the garbage he spews, he's a con artist marketing products to the dimwits who really believe in his worldview. If that involves taking advantage of our troops and slandering our country abroad, he's fine with it.
  13. Link You have to love when the media winds up to slug President Bush with a haymaker and completely misses and hits someone else. That's what happened right here on national TV.
  14. I think it's disturbing that the press is zooming in on what the President is writing to his advisors. It's funny this time, but they shouldn't have access to that information. It's no one's business.
  15. Compared to the dipshits they actually have on the committee, I think anyone looks pretty good.
  16. Did that really happen? Sounds more like an episode of Jerry Springer.......
  17. But this was a much bigger disaster than Andrew. New Orleans was underwater. It still is, weeks later.
  18. "I don't care if the team is struggle-ling. I just wanna kiss you......"
  19. Helmets from the Super Bowl years. Uniforms from the AFL championship years. They'll have to make sure all the reds and blues are the exact some shade, but I think it's a good plan. I'd also like to see "medium blue" pants thrown in somewhere (to be worn with white socks with blue stripes). Black cleats for everyone!
  20. Did he really say that? Geez, this isn't friggin' high school!
  21. On the contrary, I see every indication that things will deteriorate further in 2008. POTUS is exactly the type of job where the people who are qualified are smart enough to know they don't want that crappy job.
  22. ...and you'd be right.
  23. I heard Valerie and Cindy Sheehan are getting their own talk show on the Oxygen Network.
  24. This is really going to hurt everyone's attempts to blame a hurricane on Bush, but here's Governor Blanco admitting how badly she screwed up. CNN caught her between interviews talking with an aide about "maybe I should have asked for troops." CNN Video
