  1. Easy. Just pay attention to have many times (per minute) that ESPN licks his balls. Who cares? Dude has 3 rings and is putting his life on the line to go play football when any rational human being would worry more about his family than ring #4.
  2. Bruschi is coming back!!! Brady is the greatest QB ever!!!! The Patriots won THREE SUPER BOWLS!!!!! ... ESPN is having multiple orgasms tonight for the Pats. People who aren't Bills fans probably have no idea who the Patriots are even playing tonight.
  3. Actually, the funniest thing I ever saw him do was say he had footage of the "police state" taking hold in America. He then proceeded to show footage his friend shot of another friend getting a speeding ticket. Right before the tape ended, the cop asks "Can you turn the camera off?" Alex Jones comes back and starts freaking out. "Look, they don't even want you to see what they're doing!!" (Apparently AJ has never heard of COPS). I'm not 100% sure what happened next, but there's a 10 out of 10 chance a stoner called in.
  4. Yeah, he's on public access like every single day. Stoners always call in and thank him for "broadening their mind."
  5. I caught Alex Jones' show one time and he said that "everyone" in Canada knows that the U.S. government was behind 9/11 but no one in the States does because the government is controlling the media. I had a good chuckle thanks to that.
  6. He probably thought he could get away with it. Even if he gets away with option 2, it looks bad. After Wilson went public with his fake whistle-blowing, it was only a matter of time before people realized he was only sent on the mission because of his CIA wife, but that doesn't mean Scooter should have been the guy making that happen.
  7. How many administrations in US history are you actually familiar with?
  8. Do the Sulu Dance I think they'll be playing this in the gay bars tonight.
  9. The whole story is stupid and polls are important.
  10. Link If this woman killed herself because no one ever paid attention to her, then this is a really ironic story.
  11. That stuff about the speeches she gave came out in the last few days. Her nomination was dead on arrival. It's not like things were going great until it turned out she wasn't going to overturn Roe.
  12. No, but I see you did anyway. Bottom line is no one thought she was qualified. You pick the best of the best for SCOTUS, not your personal lawyer. The move reeked of Bush just picking a friend and no one was up for that. And why are you still talking about religious conservatives when I'm saying it wasn't religious conservatives who shot her down on Day 1? Bush even said her "faith" played a role in his decision and the base still wasn't happier (in many cases, it was more unhappy).
  13. Poll numbers are important too.
  14. The nomination flopped almost instantly and that was when the word on Miers was that she'd definitely vote to overturn Roe v. Wade. The Miers nomination proves exactly the opposite of what you just said (EDIT) about conservatives as a whole.
  15. Well, alright, there are probably no candidates religious or conservative enough to satisfy every religious conservative but I definitely don't think that's why she bombed with conservatives. We were a month into this thing and I hadn't seen one shred of evidence that she was an excellent lawyer or legal mind. Most of the defense of her was "Seriously, just trust us." They tried to sell her as some evangelical woman and it turned out that wasn't good enough.
  16. Her supposedly being a born-again Christian was the big selling point to the Right when she was first nominated and no one cared because she didn't even seem remotely qualified. I don't think it's accurate to say she wasn't religious and conservative enough for the "religious conservatives." No matter what, she wasn't good enough for SCOTUS.
  17. So? If the media is all about selling sensationalism (which is obviously the only explanation for their terrible, slanted coverage of, well, everything), then isn't this more interesting than the missing-attractive-girl-of-the-week stories?
  18. If sensationalism sells, why isn't our media all over this one? You'd think a country working on nuclear weapons calling for a nearby country to be wiped off the map would be a pretty sensational story right?
  19. Actually, it's a liberal bias. Thanks for playing.
  20. Yeah, but that was Bush's fault too. Somehow.
  21. Women have had a device for controlling men for years. It's called a vagina.
  22. Thank you for identifying "cabal" as the liberal buzzword of the week. What ever happened to "quagmire"?
  23. If our "secret agents" are driving to their offices at CIA headquarters every day, then it's no wonder our intelligence is such a mess these days. But, nevermind, it's a better story if she was undercover or whatever.....
