Commanders and WR Terry McLaurin still not close to a new deal
Gregg replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
For a win now team like the Bills his age wouldn't be an issue. As for the cap Beane would have to figure it out. He would be a much-needed addition to the WR group -
Chargers reveal alternate uniforms which will be all gold
Gregg replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
They do belong in SD, but I doubt they go back. What should have happened when these franchises were relocating was the Raiders should have joined the Rams in LA as they do have a history there and fans in LA. The Chargers if they weren't staying in SD should have been the team to start over in Vegas. The Chargers have no support in LA. Whatever football fans LA has as it's not a great football market will support the Rams and even the Raiders despite being Vegas. -

As long as Woody Johnson owns the team then they will always be a clown show. -

The Jets in recent drafts have been building the OL. Their DL is decent as well. They don't have a QB as Fields is on his 3rd team already. I guess the plan is to get one in the draft next year. -

No surprise here. They locked up two key players going forward that they can build around. -
2nd best player on offense. He is very important to the Bills.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
Gregg replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Highmark probably should have been replaced 20 years ago but they decided to do the lipstick on a pig routine these past two decades to avoid building a new stadium. Factor in Buffalo weather and 30 years is probably a realistic goal before they have to do the lipstick on the pig routine again. -
That's why I am not a counting the week 2 game at MetLife as a win. I have a feeling the Bills will be in another close game like they have been the past three in the Meadowlands.

Sauce is up next, and his contract will be another big pay day.

We don't want the Jets to do right by him under center. I hope he continues to play with scrubs or washed-up QBs. He can get his 1000-yard seasons along with many losses during the year.

Marv Levy, the countdown to 100 years old! (August 3, 2025)
Gregg replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know about that given the weather in OP at that time of year. He will be 100 after all. Maybe he can lead the charge for opener against the Ravens since the weather will be comfortable or another game where the weather is still decent. -
From a weather standpoint, it's really a tie between fall and spring. I picked fall because of football. But spring has the NHL playoffs, so it was a close decision. I don't like the heat, so I am not a fan of summer. Winter to me is better than summer. I don't mind the cold and snow. But fall and spring are 1 and 2 respectively.

NFL Executives poll: Allen ranked #2 QB in NFL
Gregg replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
It will be very disappointing if the Bills don't win a Super Bowl with Josh. I don't want the Bills to "Marino" his career. Even non-Bills fans loving watching Allen play. He is the face of the NFL IMHO. -
They still have to sign Sauce, but Wilson was someone they had to keep. I wish he was in Bills blue. Josh and Wilson would be a lethal combination.

Between him and Hochul it's a close race to who is the worst Gov in the country.

Baker, Sam and Josh @ American Century Golf Tournament
Gregg replied to JESSEFEFFER's topic in The Stadium Wall
When he retires from the NFL I could see Josh trying to become a professional golfer. He is a great athlete and loves the game. He plays all the time. He will have the money to hire a coach to help train him to improve his game. I wouldn't be surprised if he tries this. -

At least with the Bills he doesn't. -
All Draught Team Bills vs the 2025 Bills

Looking back at the MCM game wasn't it Ralph Wilson who wanted Rob Johnson to start instead of Flutie. Flutie had that "it" factor about him that he would find a way to win the game no matter what. That Bills team had a great defense. I wonder if they would have stayed with Flutie at QB could they have won the Super Bowl that year. -
Give me the Lombardi trophy 24-7-365 and I will live through some tough years while rebuilding. Now that doesn't mean I want to go through decades of crap football like Jets fans have. But if the Bills have to go through 5 tough seasons after winning the Super Bowl before becoming a good team again. Sign me up for that.
