Anyone else feeling pretty good with the Bills?
Gregg replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Alot of the players on defense have gotten old. Both Poyer and Hyde are gone for example. The team has released a number of players already this offseason. The team has to get younger and add more skill around Allen. Even Diggs is now so 30 so eventually the Bills will need to find a new #1 WR. Bottom line the core around Allen is changing. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. We all knew this was going to happen and it has. -
That's right. Even in death he did what he could to make sure the team stays here. In the end he did it. Team stayed in OP and now with a new stadium on the way the long-term future to stay in OP is on solid ground.

I want to see how the draft goes. Window #1 to win a Super Bowl with Allen has closed. Window #2 is now opening. They need to get younger and add more skill especially around Josh on offense. I am looking forward to the draft with 11 picks. Hopefully Beane can hit a HR with his picks. -
Once again thank you for bringing pro football to WNY and for keeping the team in Buffalo then OP all of these years. Without Ralph there would be no Buffalo Bills.

Does Josh Allen still work as hard in the offseason?
Gregg replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fair point. My thinking is if they score then Mahomes has 1:40 left or so and I didn't trust the Bills D to make a stop. It's a pick your poison situation. -

If I remember correctly on the play where Allen went for the TD wasn't Diggs open underneath. If it were me, I would have taken my chances by milking the clock and giving KC very little time left. At that point it was 4 down territory, and the Bills were moving the ball. Also, the Bills injury depleted D hadn't stopped the Chiefs all game and they probably don't if KC gets the ball back with some time on the clock. -
Chiefs president floats the idea of the team leaving

If there was ever a team to leave KC, it would be the Royals. They are practically a minor league team as it is. For whatever reason they are not competitive in that market. -

Also, the Chiefs D while never considered great although they were good last year always seems to play decent in the playoffs and make plays in critical moments. Credit to Spags who does a nice job on that side of the ball. -
Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
Gregg replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Now that the reality of PSL pricing is hitting Bills fans everyone can understand why so many Jets and Giants fans dropped their seasons and just purchase tickets on a game-by-game basis. -
JD wasn't behind the Rodgers signing. According to all the media reports both he and Saleh wanted Carr. It was Johnson who wanted Rodgers. So, if Rodgers doesn't work out for them then Woody has only himself to blame.
-
He probably belongs in one of those "help I've fallen, and I can't get up" commercials.
-
That defense does give the Bills problems at least at MetLife. Lost the last 2 there so they may be several notches below the Bills, but they get fired up to play them and have beaten them with Zach Wilson as the QB twice.
-
If this happens, then they will clean house. Johnson already said he is not happy with how things are going. He didn't issue a playoff mandate, but it basically is one. Another losing season and JD and Saleh are gone.

I live in NJ about 20 minutes from MetLife. I have to listen to all of the media hype with this team as well. It is very annoying. Most Bills fans will say that the Dolphins or Pats are public enemy #1 but for me it's the Jets.
-
Well, the Jets are the defending offseason champions.
-
I don't think the Bills have what it takes to move up that high. #28 and a package of other picks won't get it done. Unless the Bills include their 1st in 2025,2026 which Beane isn't going to do.
-
True but it would have to be a hell of a deal for them to trade out of #4.
-
Barring any surprises I expect him to be a Cardinal at #4.

Florida and the effect of Dems cancelling their primary
Gregg replied to SCBills's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Absolutely. He is not the only one. Hollywood is so corrupt. I could only imagine the stuff that goes on behind the scenes and is kept hush, hush with the media. -
This year if Rodgers misses time and he probably will at some point then they have Tyrod Taylor to go to. Taylor isn't anything special, but he can win them games if Rodgers gets hurt. He is a nice upgrade over Wilson. Last year their season ended 4 plays into it, and everyone knew that. That won't be the case this year.
