Andrew Van Ginkel gets paid. One year $23 Million extension
Dillenger4 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
exactly - that's why they are in disarray -
No, I don't think it's valid. Beane has done a great job at WR and the team overall. Shakir is good. Kincaid is good. Ty J is good. Cook is good. Josh is good. Coleman is good. Knox is good. Adding Moore might be OK but not required. Our D will be good. We went to the AFC championship, again. It's not the WR or O dude... get with it. It was our D and injuries to the D. Now, we have depth and some butt kickers! Davis in the 4th was ok. Shakir in the 5th just shows how DOMINANT of a GM Beaner is. If you don't like it go follow the bungles as they have big $ in WR's and they are in trouble.

I was hoping we could sign him. But oh well. We are set at WR anyway and TE. Keep in mind Davidson (TE) will be better this year! Can't wait to see our D kick some butt baby!!!!!!!!!!!

Boom baby! Jeremy on WGR is a dolt. He's still upset that Beaner called him a Fantasy Football guy and "belittled" him. Jeremy, you are a Fantasy football guy. You know nothing more than me or any average Joe regarding WR's and the draft. All he talks about are "we need more weapons for Josh. We needed a WR blah blah cry piss puke blah". Beane put the kid in his place and it was epic and joyful!!!! Jeremy - create content (if you can call it that) Beane - create a SB!!!

Is Moore gone? He has other meetings to attend....

Bills 6th Round Pick (#1) : Dorian Strong - CB - VA Tech
Dillenger4 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
For all you "we needed Offense" fairweather fans - keep in mind we had a badly banged up Kincaid (surgery was discussed) and a banged up rookie Coleman. Both will/should be back to 100% this season and contribute a lot more! Our D was the, THE reason we lost. They couldn't stop anybody when we needed it. Baltimore beat us in playoffs if not for the final play drop in the EZ. Our D was getting cooked. This draft has been a godsend for the Bills for now and the future. They got an A- grade overall. Let that sink in. We drafter 30th overall and lower in rounds 2-7. A-. That's pretty fantastic stuff by an elite GM and staff. Our D on paper is scary for 2025 and we got younger and faster! -
My hot take: If Amos is there when we pick we pick him. Or Johnson CB.
-
Would be mint! But I think he will go early. Orrr, his medical is cooked and that's why he is sliding.
-
yes. good point.

The nimrod said "The Bills don't even need this years draft - they are fine right now". Said it on WGR the other day... I wouldn't hate a Safety tonight with first pick. Then another CB. Something tells me Benford aint right and Bills know this. Just a hunch (from his injury. His neck is questionable).

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
Dillenger4 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I LOVE this pick! I called CB all the way up until the pick was in, for months. I do agree with many posters here - The Bills will double dip at CB today especially if Amos or Will Johnson drop. Hairston will start day 1 no doubt. The questions is.... is Benford OK after the concussion/neck injury? I'm not saying he isn't but we need another CB. Taron Johnson and Dane Jackson with be the slot corner/Nickel corner. That leaves us Hairston, Benford at CB #1 and #2. If one falls today snag him! Go get a safety after that and boom baby - we are gonna be a tough D to beat. No get Carter back. Bosa play well. Ogun and Heicht after 6 games come back ready and full of piss! -
how bout we all just watch the draft! Now there's an idea.... if you don't want spoilers don't read them.

Return of the Tre! (Tre White signs with the Bills)
Dillenger4 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
That is true - but he hits hard! And I like when he puts the power of evil down on incoming receivers!!!! -
Return of the Tre! (Tre White signs with the Bills)
Dillenger4 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree 100%. We have a NEED at CB no doubt. Our position at Safety is good: Rapp is above average, and between Forrest/Bishop/Hamlin we have depth and good players. Our D line is better on paper with additions of Bosa/Heicht (sp)/Ogun and Carter returning to health. Although 6 weeks of suspension hurts, we will be focusing on CB. If we can shutdown that opposition passing game substantially for once - our D line can get some extra time to do their work. CB in round 1 is more than essential for The Bills. My peers telling me he's ready with guns loaded to move up for one. Gonna be an exciting draft for us Bills fans. -
Return of the Tre! (Tre White signs with the Bills)

And your response is exactly what the issue is. He let the market pass by and "come to him". He needed to go get the CB we require. Any of the top 5 would have been the answer. Settling for White is another consolation prize IMO. I really hope we draft CB with our first pick. Our DB's are weak right now. We will see in a few days. -

This, right here! Most fans on this board are are in love with Tre for some insane reason. It's not about Tre - who btw is a total waste joke - it's about beane who seems to be losing his way. I sure hope the draft goes well for the bills because this team (Defense) is a joke. -
Return of the Tre! (Tre White signs with the Bills)
Dillenger4 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just insert "White" everywhere you wrote "Douglas" above and what difference does it make?? ZERO. Tre is busted and was pretty useless even after his first injury in NO years ago. We cut him dude. You are correct in that Rasul wasn't very good in the latter part of last season as too was injured. They are both useless for our team. So why the heck did Beane make this move? Even for $1 million it's a joke. Put that $ towards Cook and draft a CB. Let Dane "mentor" him and hey, maybe let the coaches mentor him. Unbelievable.
