Love to see KC at first and goal and take two sacks to take an FG. They are still great but, to me, not quite as intimidating as before. Even if the Bills don't make the playoffs, I still want to see KC lose. This game, in the playoffs, Anything. it gives me almost as much pleasure as a Bills victory.

There we go: next week against KC is a playoff game PLUS we have to win at least 3 more... I'm a Buffalo fan but if I had serious money on this, it would be be that the Bills don't make it.

IF this is true, and it might now be, it's very interesting that Von has this totally zen "I'm gonna be calm and at peace and control what I can control" demeanor that he presents to the football press. If he beats pregnant women — and history is full of both false criminal accusations against wealthy people and athletes who think they're above the law — then that demanor is A) either a total facade. or B) He's chill when it comes to football but a psycho in his personal life. The latter would be truly scary.

BB is far from the ideal choice but I'm pretty certain he would help prevent these late-game meltdowns on D and special teams.

I hope Pegula can bring in an experienced third-party advisor but I fear he will not (or doesn't know where to turn). Just my gut feeling, but he looks a big like a pushover when it comes to things he doesn't know well (like football NOT oil) and I bet McChoke has him buying the whole stability/we're very close narrative...

Age is a factor but Floyd may still have 2 years left in him (Von, I know, I know...) and as it's been pointed out, we get a comp pick for AJ. I'll take the comp pick and more explosive player despite the age. But no more than a 2-year deal. Another 1-year deal would be great but I doubt he takes it.

Pretty remarkable. If Beane had a crystal ball before the start of the 2022 season, he'd save his money on Miller and get one of the top WRs to play along Diggs. But if I had a crystal ball I wouldn't be a divorced dad living in a ***** condo drinking low-budget bourbon at this point in my life.

At his best he reads the field well, is decisive, has a cannon for an arm and solid accuracy, and is an all-time great running threat. At his worst, he makes poor decisions and his accuracy leaves something to be desired, especially for WRs on the move. Best-case Josh Allen is a first-ballot Hall of Famer. I hope he does (and the teams does) whatever is needed for him to be consistently at his best. We don't need Josh to be better than the best Josh we've seen; we need him to be that Josh more often.

HH, thanks for the deep dive here. Can you give a rough idea of how many times a game you'd like to run the ball and perhaps numbers just for Cook? Do you believe he's too small to be a feature back? Many people here think with JA throwing you don't need to run a lot and it's a "waste" of snaps. Do you agree? Thanks.

Great breakdown. Love the Cover 1 vids. Good to see Brady adjusting and catching the Jets D off guard. And the use of backs in the pass game (been hearing forever how good of a pass catcher Cook is and we may be beginning to witness that), and the use of the middle of the field. I see so many teams exploit the middle and the BIlls weren't doing it for some inexplicable reason. Now they are. It's only one game, yes, but what a game.

Oliver's consistently great play and the emergence of Bernard significantly reframe the past drafts. And if Kincaid continues his trajectory and Torrence remains solid, the latest draft will be a success. I was thinking Beane had been average (Elam looms large) but with the what I said above, he can jump to good/very good if Oliver, Kincaid, Torrence and Cook continue their ascent (or consistently dominance for Oliver). it's ok to be wrong; Beane might be a better drafter than most people here thought. Let's see where we end the season with play.

Sorry, if it's been said but I just read in a Sal article that Davis wasn't targeted once yesterday. Good. We performed extremely well without him against a good D and other players are emerging. I hope this trend continues.

I love Kincaid and think he's very close to a lock for becoming a top-5 TE, and could be better than that. but... the way Oliver's been playing this year — and it took him a while to play this great this consistently — he could challenge for the title of Beane's best pick besides Allen.

Can we trade Cook plus a 3rd for Singletary or Moss? I've heard on this board those guys are so good.

Great all-round game. Defense made big plays, offense was efficient but had some chunk plays and YAC that we rarely see. It looked a lot easier to move the ball today. Hopefully, that continues. What a signing Douglas was; I know giving up a third was rich (we get a 5th back) but he's a playmaker. Ed is making everyone eat crow, and Floyd has 9.5 sacks and is sure to get a few more before the season's end. I'd like to see a similar performance against a good team but this is a good D and we moved the ball. Cautiously optimistic. If we can hang with the Eagles and Chiefs and beat one of them, my hope for the season will survive. If they both blow us out, I'll know this was a mirage and the Bills really need a reset.
