This is why my only real hope is to be as healthy as possible come January even more so than the 1 seed. I'm definitely not saying sit guys out like starting in week 16 or anything. I'm just saying we need that kind of luck for once. If somehow we can get the 1 seed and be healthy in January, I am not sure there is a team that can really even threaten us in the AFC. You are not coming into Highmark under the lights in January and beating a team of a healthy Bernard, Milano, Benford, Taron, Rasul, Oliver, Rousseau, Allen, Shakir, Cooper, Coleman, and the o-line. You just aren't.

I hope the game in Cleveland stays and isn't an international game or anything. If we win the Super Bowl, I'll say it's Cincy @ Buffalo to open the season If we don't, I'll say Tampa @ Buffalo at 1pm or Eagles @ Buffalo on SNF I'm guessing CBS protects Chiefs/Bills again it's a mid-late season 4:25 window once again.

Williams is a solid player and it's nice that you can confidently rely on him if Milano comes back slowly or comes back a noticeably lesser player. But I think Milano at 80-85% is still better than Williams and gives us an elite LB unit. It's not a knock on Williams who will definitely be used to keep both Bernard and Milano fresh and healthy.

All Pro. If Milano comes back at even 85% of his former self, the defense will go from scary to downright terrifying for opponents.

Worthy is a good player and he has a coach that can really scheme him. He and Mahomes have missed on a few big plays where both of them have been at fault. But I'm not sure he's a 1st round pick level talent even in KC's offense. He and Mahomes very well may connect on a huge play in the playoffs or something but in my opinion if you are investing a 1st round pick on a WR, they need to be able to run every route in the route tree and I don't think Worthy is that guy. Good player, but I prefer how we came out in that deal.

Semi off topic but this WR group is so good. Not super super talented but you have: - Experienced WR in Cooper who can get open, make tough catches, etc. Potentially the go to guy when everything is going wrong - The YAC, "just gets open" guy in Shakir - The guy who can make contested catches and who continues to get better each week (hope that continues after the injury) in Coleman - The guy who does all the dirty work but you also have to respect in Hollins - A guy who is getting more and more usage and getting healthier in Samuel You are probably missing that speedster deep threat but I'm also not sure that's a major part of Brady's offense. Again, this group just checks the boxes. You don't have an all-pro but the group just makes sense.

Yeah you absolutely have to continue to run the ball especially with us having banged up pass catchers. Also, I know it's the not Chiefs offense of old but it's still good to keep Mahomes off the field. I did think the called runs were a little predictable and not very creative yesterday but you also don't need to empty the playbook in week 11 either. I was very happy with the coaching yesterday.

This is a great problem to have but over the past few weeks, we've had enough guys elevate their game to a point where it won't be possible to re-sign all of them most likely. But we've been drafting pretty well lately. Benford Groot Bernard Torrence Cook (he's the most replaceable IMO) Shakir Dorian Williams Obviously you still have to perform at this level in January and February but there's some damn good players on this roster

I don't get quite as upset about things like a missed holding call or a bang bang pass interference call. Those are hard to call in real time and I'm generally in favor of just letting them play. But the missed false starts/illegal formations against the Chiefs is something that only adds fuel to the idea that they have the early 2000's Patriots protections. Those calls are just not debatable.

I want him back ASAP but there's a part of me that is okay with the Chiefs not seeing Cooper before January. Yes I know eventually he'll be back and they'll see the film but it's still different when you're out on the field.

I'll say this though. If we could get the 2 seed and the Dolphins sneak in as the 7 seed, I certainly won't be upset about that.

The Dolphins are in "Jets mode", just a week behind. They think after the win last night that they are playoff bound.

Aaron Rodgers has been in the NFL for 20 seasons and has appeared in one Super Bowl but somehow the Jets, Jets fans, and media members thought that at the age of 39/40/41, he would be able to lead them even to the playoffs. It is a little crazy though to be that bad with a top 10 WR, RB, CB, DL. I thought they'd be a perennial .500 team with Rodgers but instead they're playing for draft position in early November.

What's weird about the Chiefs is that they're really the only fanbase (except for maybe the Dolphins recently) who are willing to acknowledge just how good Josh Allen is. I don't even dislike a lot of their star players. But as a team, I just can't stand them. Maybe it's the undoubtedly obvious favorable calls they get. Maybe it's the media pushing them as Americas team. I don't know. Obviously I want to beat them when it matters in the playoffs more than I want to win this week. But boy oh boy I still want to win this week.

Honestly I'd rather go into KC than go into Baltimore in the playoffs. That's really my only desire for the playoffs.

Part of me doesn't care that much because I think regardless the Chiefs will end up the 1 seed and we've won plenty of regular season games against them only to fall flat in the playoffs. But a bigger part of me hates the Chiefs with everything I have and don't want them to go undefeated and wants to beat them down every single time we play.
