  1. I hear ya, CB, and I agree with you, but what is lost a little bit in the story is that Tebow should keep such things to himself but the simple request (not order, request) he made was responded to by a shut the *&*%-up...is that a pitch perfect appropriate response?
  2. Well played, ON76. Well played indeed.
  3. How young some of you guys are: Buffalo 13 Miami 3 1980 The 20 game losing streak comes to an end. I was there with my brother and will never forget it.
  4. I'm looking forward to that Monday, Sunday or Thursday night game...against the Patriots...in New England...probably after one of their byes.
  5. to get a pro-bowl alternate at the money we are paying him in the prime of his career?! Indy should jump at that opportunity, if available to them.
  6. How in the world do i explain to anybody that i read a thread at TSW today about incest between minors, but it's OK b/c the guys on the Board made it kind of funny?
  7. Agree, McGee. Plus the one-two punch of Jacko and Spills? Both good receivers and runners. You mean to tell me that between the TE and T teams have to worry about Nelso, Jackson and Spiller? Are you kidding me? Fogetaboutit!!
  8. Man, Coach that is so funny, I just don't think, though, that everyone will get or know what you are talking. ...but nicely done. OK, who's the idiot with the double post?!
  9. Man, Coach that is so funny, I just don't think, though, that everyone will get or know what you are talking. ...but nicely done.
  10. Good point; I believe Rodgers was the highest at the 21st or 22nd spot of the first round, with Brees in the Second Round and Brady in the Sixth. I can't remember where Favre was drafted by Altanta but I know it wasn't early in the first round.
  11. God, why did you write that, Stucky? Now I can't get that song out of my head. ...well, it is the Beatles, so I guess that's OK. "Maxwell Edison, majoring in medicine..."
  12. This is one of those annoying threads at TSW where I actually have to consider almost all the posts because you guys all seem to be raising good points for your arguments. ...stop this. It is hurting my head. Truly, you think it would shift the thought process on the draft, but I really could see them finishing out the defense and trying to shore up the OL line somehows (ya like that english?) else. I hate all of you who are MAKING me consider Spiller, because I am starting to have daydreams about him in a Bills uniform running and catching touchdowns. Peace, my TSW brothers and sisters.
  13. Normally i put a lot of thought into these poll questions before I answer, but this one was easy.
  14. Yeah, agreed. Our fortunes won't be decided by Fitzy, but they are not going to spiral b/c of him, either.
  15. Interesting. Curious that there is a COMPLETE turnover, with Browns' fans keeping their fingers crossed on Delhomme...fingers, toes, eyes, etc.
  16. Yepper. I'll 2nd that.
  17. It still scares me, BJM. This got could still lose 15-20 more pounds, get drafted, sign a deal and balloon back up. Yeah, the discipline is still an issue.
  18. Ya know, if I really sat down and thought about ALL the mistakes and bungling done by the guys who ran this team over the last 10 years, from coaches to GMs to Owner, and all the WTF moments in drafts, from Whitner over Ngata and Maybin over Oher... ...I think I'd like to take out a stick and start whacking a bunch of people over the head. Seriously.
  19. Look, I don't know how many of you guys have actually seen him play (I've seen him live in no less than 11 games), but honestly, Roosevelt is the real deal and if he is still there in the 4th round you have to take him. No, he is not big and no he is not ULTIMATELY fast; but he has quicks, great hands and is a ball hawk. Even playing for the UB Bulls stats don't lie: 268 career grabs, 3,551 yards and 28 TDs.
  20. The weird thing is, I agree with this, in a way. Look, I know he's under contract and I know the Bills pay him more than good money and teams don't owe their players anything more than that...other than respect. I think after ten years of commitment to an organization you have the right to go to them and say, "Thank you for everything. However, it has been 10 years and i have never made the playoffs and it doesn't look likely that I am going to make it there anytime soon. I am closer now to the end then I am to the beginning. Please can I go closer to home and take a shot at the playoffs for what might be the last time in my career?" EDIT: The Sabres were classy enough to do it with Mike Ramsay (if memory serves me, in sending him to Pittsburgh) and although the Bills offered it to Joe D. in 1985, his tears were classy enough in letting the Bills, and us know, "thank you, but I started as Buffalo Bill and I am going to finish as a Buffalo Bill."
  21. I didn't need to read the article, figoferreira. Your subject line and four letter comment told me enough. ...I was thinking of another four letter word for it, but the one you chose handles my opinion amply enough.
  22. Also, Darth, I believe he is planning on selling the team and doesn't want to strap new ownership with large contracts they may not be interested in...even Peppers.
  23. That would be great, and if that happens, I HOPE NBC would have at least some interest in airing that game on their primary network. (Yes that was a dig, yes I know they will, but yes, it is still a pisser...my msnbc was not in HD) BTW, much respect and hats off to our Canadian brothers and sisters.
  24. You and me, both, kota. I swear to you I just had a bad feeling not only when he went down, but when we found out he was lost for the season. Honestly, it was a, "well, that's it" moment.
  25. I agree with Dr D. I think, before this takes place, we would have to show McNabb (or any QB of noteworthiness that we might try to get here) that measures have been taken to upgrade the OL. In other words, FA, or trade for at least one quality Tackle, or convince McNabb we are definitely going to address OL in the first round of the draft. BTW, I am talking left tackle as I am not unhappy with Butler, even coming back from injury.
