  1. Kzoo, as long as they get a QB that they are high on then I'm good. If they love A guy and can get him I have no problem with picking 5 potential starters/heavy contributors at other positions, with current emphasis on LB, WR and OL.
  2. I know its simulated, kzoo, but I read these and went immediately back to doing my taxes as it was just a tad more fun. if I die and the only QB we get in two mocks is lauletta please put me face down in the coffin as it will be too hard to roll over due to my size, the coffins size and the fact that I am dead.
  3. Today is a a different day and that mother f***** is cra-cra for letting the Jets move up. Um, hey Beane, the Rails just called and they’re wondering where the hell you went off to?! Now if you don’t mind I need to go shave my head with a cheese grater, chew on some tinfoil and scream “what’s the frequency, Kenneth” at the top of my lungs as I finish my manifesto. Just kidding. Wouldn’t it be weird if I was really like that? Trusting the process over here.
  4. Rosen at 12 and Evans at 22. done. wow...that was easy.
  5. Note to self: Stop watching Dateline with the Mrs...my lif depends on it.
  6. That's interesting. would they? I want them to get their guy, but I love having this picks.
  7. Look, Allen isn't necessarily my guy, but I was speculating this morning "what if their guy falls and we don't have to trade away anything?" That said, NDB, their guy (if it is Allen), 2 LB, a WR, Price and a tackle...would be a very sweet draft and a lot of what the doctor ordered (and that's just the top 6). Told Bagel from these Boards just a bit ago that we need two LBs now in the draft and he concurred.
  8. Ice he is not the answer, but he will do well by them, especially with what they are building upon. They may be able to go anywhere from 5-11 to 7-9 with him. If it is just plain 5-11 they should be thrilled.
  9. Hey Ice, hope all is well. Congrats on the Landry pick up, sorry about Jordy.
  10. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/star-lotulelei-12294/ Huh...granted I had help from a range standpoint due to the Carolina article, but I nailed it. pure speculation turned into fact.
  11. Gentlemen I respect you all greatly and thank you for your input. That said, no thank you. Because as of this day, or rather as of yesterday, March 14, 2018, I am happy. I am more than happy. If I may quote the great Tom Landry, "I am some where between peachy keen and tickled pink." Beane has done a great job..so far, and that's the point. I am loving what he has done so far. I am not waiting for the next thing because the next thing hasn't happened yet. After that there will be another thing (pre-season), then another thing ("who is starting opening day?"), then another thing ("we should make the switch now before the season is over") and so on and so on, and if you keep pumping the breaks before getting excited before you know it you haven't even reached the finish line and the race is over. LAST DECEMBER AND NEW YEAR'S EVE WERE GLORIOUS AND I HAVE LONG SUFFERING BILLS FANS AS FRIENDS THAT HONESTLY MISSED IT...SERIOUSLY, THEY JUST PLAIN MISSED IT, BECAUSE THEY NEVER LET THEMSELVES GET EXCITED...THERE WAS ALWAYS A REASON OR A LIMITATION AT THAT POINT IN TIME TO WITHHOLD THEIR JOY...UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE. Quicker than I'd like to admit I am going to be turning 50, and more and more I am realizing life is day by day and that I should enjoy each single God loving day, because there are fewer in front of me than there are in back of me. March 14, 2018 is one of those special days...Brandon Beane is one of those reasons. Go Bills. @rodneykm @mead107 @{::'KayCeeS::} @billsfan11
  12. Thus "project" and is the third stringer for less than million. crystal.
  13. Just so we are clear on this before you guys go to bed, for the 2018 and 2019 season the Buffalo Bills will have 3 QBs on their roster. One of which is a project player that they love who will be in his 2nd and 3rd year hopefully growing as expected. One who was coveted by the Patriots, has a 93.6 pro QB rating, has 4 years under his belt, took the bengals within a RB fumble of their first playoff victory in 20 years, won 2 national championships at Bama, all the while going 36-4 and is their all time leading passer. Finally, a top 5 draft pick, the highest Buffalo has ever taken a QB in their history, and from the greatest QB class since 2004 and maybe the third best class in the last 1/3 of a century... ...all for a total of about $12 million per year.
  14. KayCeeS, for the first time ever my head bumped into it yesterday! thanks for that too, Mr. Beane!
  15. Stop, you guys are going to make me use up all my up votes!
  16. Indeed Buff, but we are in the Buffalo Bills Loving business, and brother, business is-a-boomin'!!!
  17. And honestly, that's it. That's all I have to say and it had to be said and I don't really care if there is another thread on this subject. Truthfully, I feel like crawling out of my bedroom window and screaming it from my F'ing roof at the top of my lungs like Peter Finch in the movie Network, but my wife and daughter are trying to sleep. Jeepers how good is this guy as a GM. (Not a question) Mods lock if you must, but I had to get it out. Go Bills.
  18. Look, I voted no. I quickly voted no. ...but damn, if you think about for a little bit!!
  19. Sorry PD, I will edit above. Assume we traded 2 firsts, a 2nd and a 3rd and got into the top 5 and drafted X. Do you guys have names for these picks? This is not to put you on the spot, it is just so many of you guys know so much more about the draft class than I do. For example, a buddy said Pettis at WR would be a good pick up in the second round. Names would be great for these LBs, WRs and OL.
  20. Just assume that the QB we got in the top 5 is your guy and we still have picks 2-5. Given the signings of Star, Kyle, Murphy, as well as picking up some safety depth and re-upping some guys, where do you think we go in the draft? We still definitely need help at WR, LB and some OL depth, to start. I'll trust you draft gurus to say where we go, starting in the second round. EDIT: Assume we traded 2 firsts, a 2nd and a 3rd and got into the top 5 and drafted X.
  21. We're gonna rip on a guy for having a pedicure, bandit? Please, it's 2018. kidding aside, I do hope you are thinking about someone else, but even if it is the case I am glad this front office is not painting itself into any corners with a company line. Hard for some to believe, but you can still be a good football player and even a good guy even if you have some issues.
  22. Forgive me for being presumptuous bandit, but fixed.
  23. No there isn't, she's a smoke show. I was kidding. see above
  24. bandit, although this is redundant from other threads, point blank: who do you think the Bills want, who do you think it is going to actually be and at what draft number?
  25. Regardless of what some of us may think about Allen, if the Bills really like him, and they now have a RB, does it seem more likely that Cleveland will take Allen first ov er all, which some have speculated? ...and what does that do to the Bills?
