i don;t know much (anything) about pass rushing. but miller often seems to leave the pocket wide open at the last minute. might just be part of the position. but it feels like he'll sacrifice containing the qb to try and sack him the long way round. which he always misses for a lack of a yard.

our red zone offence is unstoppable. compare to the daboll days. it's night and day.

The stats are deceptive. When we stop it we REALLY stop it. But when we don't we really don't. We either seems to let RBs go for 15 yards or stop them before the line of scrimmage. So while the average looks respectable, the truth is that the 1 in 4 running plays that beats us is killing us time and time again.

The McD call didn't lose us the game. Not stopping third downs - because they had elite superbowl winning talent playing at their best - lost us the game. It was a bit dumb to screw up at the end, yes, but the game was lost long before then. Did well to come back to 2 points but it was just too late. Can't keep starting games that slow. Did we get a three and out in that game? 1 maybe? And now we're all certain we'd have got another if the sneak weren't called? Nah. Not for me. The game was lost in 60 minutes of football. Fair play to the Rams.

Oh well. An entertaining game. Their offence played it's best possible game - with Superbowl winning talent - and they only one by two points. including a punt block for 6. They won it on their 3rd down conversions ultimately. Our o line is getting better every week. Any given Sunday. 🫤

Totally agree. it doesn’t benefit us as we have a rushing qb. But I totally agree. If your playbook depends on the QB rushing, you’ve got to be taking a risk to enjoy that reward. For the sake of the game. same with the ‘tush push’ if the defence jumps and hurts the QB - so be it - you’ll need to run a football play next time instead. QB isn’t supposed to do this much. The protection given is more about money than sport
