  1. This is great. The tension. The nerves. The occasion. The drought sucked beyond belief.
  2. I just feel that the middle of the field on D is so important against this shower. thank god for no tyreek. but THANKS - i like that others are confident. It's helping! and you're right on all points, of course.
  3. There has to come a point when you just have too many injuries to compete at this late level. Have we reached that point? Feels like it. But if we can scrape through this, and Bernard could be fit for the next round ... which looks like a monster task .. then feck it. Who knows. After that, I'd fear nothing. But it's suchhhh a big ask.
  4. Well the coaching team have everyone's full confidence, what do you expect?
  5. "Next time you see an obvious false start, don't flag"
  6. The number 1 seed, at full strength, on their patch. Tomorrow's tricky enough. But that's a heavy ask if we're missing key players. Still. Nothing is impossible.
  7. Mark Andrews back next week, apparently.
  8. one of the shittest games i've seen all season
  9. men v boys texans giving it what they've got. but they've just not got enough
  10. ooh that's got to start putting the ***** up baltimore
  11. Big FG. Could settle houston down a bit
  12. Oh this isn't going to last long by the looks of it
  13. I post because I watch the games alone in the UK (usually at night this year) and need to get stuff off my chest for nerves reasons,. I tend not to be too critical of elite athletes doing things I couldn't do if I trained all my life. Same with coaches, I get a bit grotty about every difficult decision that goes wrong being treated as if it was obvious beforehand (like assuming A 50-yrd FG will inevitably lead to a punter's pulled hamstring). And, because I LIKE this team, I get a bit defensive of them when they are getting trashed. But generally I'm grateful for the company during games, and I learn a lot about the game from reading people here too. It's a good forum.
  14. My gut is telling me it’s about to experience a familiar and more hurtful sporting punch right in that location. Because life is pain
  15. Just for booting a ball into the sky How hard can it be?
  16. If I had my time again, I think I'd train to be a punter. Great work if you can get it.
  17. A good clean hit on a star QB is arguably worth the penalty. if you get it just right.
  18. I started to worry that Elam was soft. Him getting run over on his INT drive was embarassing. Then the WR verbally violating him after the PI. Suddenly him being a good 'note-taker' at interview seemed to make sense. Maybe he's a classy thinker, with good hands ... but a bit of a 😽 when playing with the men. I'm reading a lot into a small bit of data there though. But if he is a softie, it would explain why he's not making his mark in the NFL despite clearly having game. Guts aren't something you can coach.
  19. HC must be one of the difficult jobs in the world. I love how easy your average Walmart worker thinks it is.
  20. He seemed relaxed and down to earth in his post game interviews. Which is great. He's becoming more comfortable in his skin post-season.
  21. Any news on Bernard yet? I'm guessing he's done? Legs don't just seem to visibly snap like that and heal overnight. His towel over the head when leaving the field suggested to me he was in tears, knowing his season was done. I presume our pitch is like concrete in weather like this?
