PFF has Barron as their #11th overall prospect The word "versatile" gets thrown around too much with defensive back prospects, but Barron is exactly that. As a natural zone defender with excellent instincts and anticipation, he is a starting-caliber pro at safety, wide cornerback or nickel defender -- sometimes as all three in the same game -- for Cover 3- or quarters-heavy schemes.

While I would prefer to stay at 30 or a small trade up for Grant… if we move up to 21ish for Barron…. He seems like an absolute stud. As long as we can still land quality DT’s in Round 2 & 4, I’d be good with it
