Not sure if it’s the Panthers fault or not but he is unbelievably uncomfortable under center, has no pocket presence, and has been getting clobbered. he missed a WR screen to Thielen yesterday and looked like he was close to tears. Very sad for the young man. I truly don’t think he will ever see meaningful snaps again.

What drives me crazy about the Chiefs is that Mahomes somehow plays badly against the Bengals basically all the time. i know there’s a coaching element, but his first pick was just a complete and total brain fart.

Nothing has had a worse public perception than a rip move. EVERY game there’s a rip move that gets screenshot or shown on replay and 99% of fans watching think it’s a missed call. Honestly, the NFL should do a 1 min PSA before every game about the rule.

They pretty much say, “Josh Allen is incredible but he has lots of turnovers.” lots of guys on Sunday say, “you gotta live with some of the mistakes and risky passes because Josh Allen can make magic happen like that” The context of the TO machine narrative is usually pointed to why he isn’t as good as Mahomes. I think commentators are really just talking about multiple SB’s vs not but want to sound more nuanced so they bring up the TO’s. If Josh had the same amount of TO’s but had 3 SB’s, no one would ever call him a TO machine.

I’m not sure McDaniel is suited as an OC either. He’s obviously a great offensive mind, and has some great creativity. He is an undisciplined play caller. Which is why McD takes such advantage of him in games. We let them gash us on the ground and just stayed in our defensive gameplan. McDaniel would not stick to running and getting 8 yards a pop, call 2 pass plays and they would stall the drive or turn it over. The Dolphins had their chance to stay in that game and McDaniel hoisted himself on his own petard.

The 4th and 3 plays are the kind of play calls Mahomes has benefitted from basically his whole career with Reid, especially in the red zone. Its really nice that Brady has some things In his bag of tricks that basically require Allen to do little besides make a quick pass.

Does this mean much? Sure, the Jags have weirdly had our number. Zach Taylor can’t beat the Browns. BB and Brady used to inexplicably lose the Dolphins in Miami with Philbin and Tannehill like 50% of the time Some teams have bad matchups. Doesn’t make them bad coaches.

After last night, Tua’s career may be in jeopardy. Tyreek has a base salary of only $1.2M this season. The Dolphins trading him now will accelerate his cap hit for next season, but still save them money. He’s already 30 and most speed guys don’t have much longer shelf life at that age. If I was Miami, I think I move on now while I can still recoup some value. But they probably have a different opinion. So what do you think? Does Hill finish the season in a Dolphin uniform?
