  1. These are the type of people who also think as long as they have checks in their checkbook, they have money.
  2. But you're the one claiming it can be done without knowing. Unless Beane has personally told you that it can, you're BSing. You don't know. And FYI, it's not on me to prove a negative. You are the one claiming something can be done, it's on you to prove it can be. That's how logic works. Bills RBs had 20 carries for 89 yards in that game. The passing game won us that game and it was the passing game that opened up the running game after the game was out of control. We did not run particularly well in that game and certainly didn't in the Miami game.
  3. Because you don't know. Yet here you are claiming they can without having the slightest clue whose possibly can and whose already was. This is called BSing.
  4. So tell us...who's getting restructured that hasn't been already? LMAO, you try and act like it's super easy without having a clue how it's done and without even looking at the current financial situation.
  5. He's telling you to go to spotrac.com and show us how you make space to fit Barkley in here. Show us how it's done.
  6. With no holes and no O-line push. OK Geez, you've just got this all figured out already. Maybe we should fire McD and Beane and hire you for both. Can you do OC too? We can fire Dorsey then as well. You're right, it will. Some people aren't getting re-signed and/or are getting released.
  7. He's telling you we've already done that to make the signings we had this offseason. We are roughly 7M over cap going into next year as it stands right now.
  8. Which is most of the time. So your position is that Barkley will constantly be able to improvise and make yards out of what's basically a blown up play at that point.
  9. So your answer is Barkley doesn't need a line and Beane can make it work when we essentially have nothing left in cap space now, especially with the signing of Rhodes, and like 7 mil over going into next season. Gotcha OK, post vids of the holes they are opening and push they are getting outside of the Rams game.
  10. Then explain why our backs are not having any success carrying the football. Show me the holes the line is supposed to be opening the way the play was designed. Show me the push they are getting against the D-lines.
  11. You see this guy as Barry Sanders. I see him as another back that will be limited to short yardage gains without any push from the line. You still haven't explained how we afford him this season and even if we somehow could, re-signing him for next year is all but an impossibility with our cap situation.
  12. Welp, maybe he shouldn't then. The fact of the matter is the line is not opening holes and getting the push how the play is designed. Expecting a back to improvise and turn nothing into something every play is just not a reasonable expectation and signing another back who will have to dodge tackles in the backfield isn't going to fair any better.
  13. So now we're talking hypotheticals. Unblocked DE there waiting for him and we're acting like he's not even there. Easy touchdown. And how exactly do we afford him?
  14. Nobody there? The DE clearly has contain on that play and is unblocked.
  15. If you completely ignore the unblocked DE, maybe.
  16. So you're saying Barkley is going to create yardage with no holes and no O-line push? The dude ain't Barry Sanders. It certainly looks like the Giants line is better at run blocking than ours right now.
  17. That's what I see. The DE is not blocked there and Singletary would be running right at him if he were to cut it back like people are suggesting. So whose blocking for him? Are we getting a new O-line too? There's no holes, no push. What's going to make Barkley successful where are current backs are not?
  18. So is the O-line holding out? They are going to open holes and get a push for Barkley, but just don't feel like it for any of the 3 we have? It doesn't matter who's in the backfield if there's nowhere for them to go. Some of y'all must be watching different games than me because outside of the Rams game, there have been no holes opened up and zero push by this O-line. Unless Barkley can magically block for himself too, how will he even make the slightest bit of difference?
  19. That would require the O-line to get some sort of push, which to date, outside the Rams game, have gotten none.
  20. That about sums it up. And considering outside of the Rams game, our line is not getting any push and is not opening holes, so I guess Boomer thinks Barkley is Barry Sanders and can just create something out of nothing.
  21. Actually, before the game, I remember hearing part of the plan was to try and keep Tua and those receivers off the field as long as they could. The best way to protect a banged up defense is to make them not have to defend. If you go back and look at our drives, Josh was taking the play clock all the way down. To me, it was clear they were trying to slow the game down.
  22. True, but the TV is attempting to give viewers a reasonable expectation for where they need to get to for what is a realistic attempt at a FG and they base that of the kicker's career long I believe.
  23. The TV red line they had is based on the kicker's past history and realistic range. Can kickers outkick what the imaginary line is on the field? Sure, but the further back you go, you're typically going to sacrifice accuracy due to the kicker having to put more into the kick itself. Could Bass hit from 60? On a good day in good conditions? Probably, but probably not with any consistency.
  24. That's a chicken or the egg argument. Are they bottom 5 in run attempts because they are being ignored or are they bottom 5 in attempts because they aren't producing anything when they do carry the ball? The Rams game gave me hope. The Titans game, not so much. Not sure we even count the Miami game is was such an out of the ordinary situation. Who knows...maybe they will start improving in the coming weeks. I'm not holding my breath, but it's possible.
  25. It doesn't matter who's back there. Outside of the Rams game, the O-line has gotten zero push. Our RB's have been lucky to get out of the backfield. No push from the line, no hole opened, nothing.
