  1. You're right. I assumed Edmunds because that's usually his zone but on that particular play to Kelce that got them into FG range it was Milano that was playing underneath.
  2. Man I would love Bruce as a DC or as DL coach. He still has all the mental acuity he had while playing. Much respect
  3. Haha, even Bruce Smith even blasts Edmunds for the Chiefs loss.
  4. Flutie Flakes my man, we'll be choking on Flutie Flakes
  5. Gabe Davis set an NFL Record for TDs in a single game and only making 1 mil a year. Tremaine Edmunds, 12.7 million and missing in action.
  6. Yikes, how deep does this go?
  7. Congress see's nothing wrong with its members buying and selling stocks while in office. Our government is just as corrupt as certain NFL owners. Don't hold your breath
  8. Josh Allen Optimus Prime confirmed
  9. Still 6 syllables
  10. If the world is all about equity over substance now, shouldn't we have a rule that at least 2 women be interviewed for coaching positions as well then?
  11. After seeing the Bengals embarrass the Chiefs in the second half last night I'm still convinced our biggest need is a playmaker on our defensive front 7. If we can get Levi Wallace signed for additional year at a reasonable amount I think our draft should be focused on grabbing the best WR or OL available, if no Wallace then probably CB takes priority. When it comes to free agency we need to look at picking up one of the best LB or DL available, someone that can have an immediate impact.
  12. I don't think people necessarily are saying defense wins championships but perhaps people are more comfortable with where our offense is for the most part as opposed to D. The OL has been playing better going late into the season although there is still plenty of room for improvement. Davis and Knox had breakout years at WR and TE, we're probably keeping Beasley in the slot. Motor came around late in the season as well.
  13. Fair enough. But just one extra stop on 3rd down or another big play in that game coulda made all the difference. I realize we are probably stuck with Edmunds next year at least because of his Cap hit but I still think he's been underperforming for his salary more than anyone else on the team.
  14. I always thought Thurman's best skillset was his patience and field vision. He had a great knack for letting plays develop, following blockers and finding the open seams. Arguably it just takes a great OL to produce another Thurman.
  15. I would prefer we draft at the CB and Oline positions, find a way to get rid of Edmunds and get another veteran free agent LB like Haason Reddick.
  16. I personally would like us to upgrade our LB core. Assuming we still have Leslie Frazier next year running a cover 2 still, it really asks a lot of our linebackers and IMO we've really been exploited the most in the middle of the field this season. Tremaine Edmunds just hasn't been playing up to his potential and I think that's the one position we need an absolute playmaker right now.
  17. Okay armchair GMs, we've had some time to digest our agonizing playoff loss and reflect on the season, now you're in charge of getting the Bills past the Chiefs Bengals and into the SB next year. What do you see as our biggest positional need going into this offseason and why.
  18. I think the lack of the Bills deep passing this season more to do with our pass protection breaking down too quickly rather than lacking a burner WR. Josh's YPA dropped from 7.9 in 2020 to 6.8 this season with only 8 passing plays over 40 yards which puts him well behind most of the other elite QBs in the league in those categories. Opposing teams have probably adjusted their schemes more against the pass in fear of Josh Allen as well.
  19. I will agree with you on this. They do ask a lot of him. You could see in the KC game especially it was hard for him to have eyes on Kelce, McKinnon and Mahomes at the same time so on a lot of plays he would end up somewhere in the middle. The second quarter of the game specifically he had 3 consecutive blown coverages first the pass to Kelcey over the middle, then another pass over the middle to Pringle and finally he let let Helaire run right by him for a 22yrd run. I would rather him be decisive on a play, sometimes be wrong but sometimes make the huge play than always be 5yrds off no matter what leaving opposing teams just rip off 10 and 15 yard chunks in the middle of the field at will.

  21. Josh just basically said he wants Ken Dorsey for OC next year if Daboll is gone
  22. It's truly remarkable how similar the stat lines of these two QBs are over the last two post season games. The fact that Allen went into a hostile environment and did what he did is even more impressive to me than Mahomes.
  23. I agree, I would much rather play them at home. But I think finding success there in week 5 this season has boosted Josh Allen's confidence in his ability to play them on the road. Unlike the carousel of QBs we had the last 20 years, JA doesn't get rattled under pressure.
  24. And who's primary coverage area is the middle of the field? #49. The one person who is supposed to the bedrock of our defense is probably the weakest link.
  25. Allen showed tonight and last week that he doesn't need to run. He's developed great field vision and decision making recently and has become an outstanding pocket passer
