  1. The whole thing about him just wanting to win is hogwash. He just wants the team around him to win while he rests comfortably on his pile of money next to Tre White 😄
  2. Bengals looked sharp against KC. I would certainly pick them to make another deep run into the playoffs this year and could be Buffalo's biggest challenge this season. I agree with @Mango though. The Bills, after their stretch of the last few games and mounting injuries need rest more than anything. I suspect they will spend extra time in the film room for the Dolphins and Cincy games coming up.
  3. Why thank you 🥰 Love u 2 Jamone
  4. Unless he knows he's not up to the same level he used to be and is trying to bait the long term $$ knowing that it wont matter if he lives up to the hype once the deal is done.
  5. Quite a dropoff in productivity. A result of age and injuries or QB?
  6. C'mon Joe Burrow. Remind Mahomes who his daddy is..
  7. Yeah, as much as I love Poyer and think he's absolutely vital to this defense, he's got what 7 years on Edmunds. But I can understand why Poyer would be feeling some frustration when we just gave a monster contract to Von Miller at the same age. Just hope Beane finds a way. Plus I'd like to have at least one more good run with Poyer AND Hyde on the field together. Best safety tandem in the league by far.
  8. I agree with all this though I hope the Bills find a way to keep Groot around in 2025. I'm hoping next years draft is OL, WR, OL, TE, S
  9. Also interested in hearing your thoughts on how we go about replacing either Edmunds or Poyer. Can we get by with the depth we have there for a year or two or do we need to target these positions early on in next years draft considering we already have glaring needs on OL and WR?
  10. Good win. Allen getting back to himself. OL starters need to be healthy against any better teams though. Same with DBs
  11. Yeah he rolled on his ankle a little bit on the one play. He'll walk it off
  12. More like his 4th drop in 4 games
  13. Im okay with it as long as he slips forward 4 yds every time
  14. Time for Al Michaels to hang up the mic
  15. Allen trying to put the game out of reach on one play is never going to work against pats D
  16. Kinda like the offense on 3rd and short
  17. 2023 Draft better be OL, OL, OL
  18. Josh needs to be playing 1 step drop and throw behind this OL
  19. Are we freeing up Von's roster spot to bring OBJ in here on Friday?
  20. The winning strategy from here on out is simple. If we get in the red zone, josh needs to take a designed sack the next play to get us back out of the red zone. Then we can keep firing TD passes to Diggs with no worry of turnovers.
  21. I agree with this. I think a lot of us have a fear of McKenzie's consistency though. If he keeps having games like last week the detractors will fade away. I'd rather the Bills go after OBJ or another WR2 that can either get real separation or challenge contested balls vertically, especially in the red zone. Gabe is a decent route runner but seems to lack the other 2 qualities.
  22. I wish Beas never left. I certainly would like to have his clutch catching ability back but I worry that just as the RB position we're getting a little congested at the slot receiver spot if we do so. I mean I thought we were gonna have Hines line up in the slot on some plays but we haven't even managed to do that yet.
  23. Anti-hero is not to be confused with Villain. They perform good deeds although their reasoning for doing them is usually for their own self interest not for that of society. Hancock would be a perfect example as @transient pointed out in this thread. Here's an article from 2008 that specifically mentions the fictional character Hancock and Terrel Owens as anti-heroes. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/media-stew/200807/hancock-examination-the-anti-superhero However, as any sports fan can tell you, we do seem to love the anti-hero. What is an anti-hero? An anti-hero is an enigma in that he or she does not demonstrate the desired values or norms of society and yet still possess a fan following. The anti-hero is someone who feels that they do not need other people, they possess a "me first" attitude. In sports, anti-heroes may include, Terrell Owens, Dennis Rodman, Alex Rodriquez, Barry Bonds, Bode Miller, Kyle Busch, Jason Giambi, Randy Moss, and many others. Past anti-heroes include Pete Rose, Billy Martin, John McEnroe, and Tonya Harding.
