It would absolutely work in Buffalo. Anyone who goes to Sabres games can attest to the options of fun things to do within a mile of the arena. Unfortunately, the Bills don't play in Buffalo - they play in Orchard Park. And you're right that it would not work in OP. Which is why many people wanted the stadium in Buffalo.

Unfortunately not. Advanced systems now use periocular recognition, which identifies people by their eyes. It was (in part) developed due to covid and needing to identify people wearing large face masks. Once they grab your eye, it is passed through multiple layers of pooling and activation functions that essentially develop a feature map. This map is then divided into local and global branches, where the local branches focus on specific areas within the periocular region (iris), while the global branch considers the entire periocular area (lashes, lid). The vector of the query image is then compared to a database of known feature vectors using similarity metrics. The system then calculates the similarity scores and spits out the best match.

Well said. To add to it, not all kicks are equal. A 34 yard kick in a blow-out does not matter to the same extent as a game-winning attempt. To that point: In the last 2 minutes of a half, Bass was only 70% last season. And he was 78% the year before. And 71% in his rookie season. With this in mind, how much should we caee that he is nearly 90% when the kick isn’t as important (not the final 2 minutes)? The truth is that he has never been a consistent clutch kicker. Ever. And for his career, he misses 1 of every 4 kicks he attempts when we are trailing.

Context matters. If that 58 yarder was a game-winner that he missed .. then he isn’t winning the award. And he would be rightfully panned on this forum. Remember when the Eagles kicker hit that 60 yarder against us, in the rain, to force OT and the eventual win? I do. Kickers need to be able to hit those. But the last time we saw bass, he badly shanked the game-tying FG against KC and sent us packing from the playoffs. Next time he had an opportunity to make a practice-winning field goal, he sent it so far left that i’m not sure the goal posts even knew a kick was happening. That is not encouraging news. So fans can gloat about the three or four he made from shorter distances when it didn’t matter. But until he starts making them when it does matter, with the game or practice on the line, there will be justifiable question marks.

Yeah it was long. But it also wasn’t even close. It wasn’t in the same zip code of the goal posts. My concern isn’t so much that he can’t make the 20 and 30 yarders. My concern is that he doesn’t have nerves of steel to hit the game winners.

To be fair, it was a long kick. But it was wayyyy off target.

Which foot would you like Josh to kick the field goal with at the end of the playoff game last year? What defensive position should he have stepped in for in 13 seconds?

It is a very poor marketing attempt to strongly differentiate the club sections from the non-club sections, as there are more club STH’s saying “no” than they expected.

Ahh. Allen averaged 10 per game. Zach averaged 8 per game.

Allen averages 2.9 throws of 20+ yards per game last season. Wilson averaged 2.5 throws of 20+ yards per game last season.

Zach is a better player than he gets credit for (watch how people react to this post). I wrote earlier in the offseason that i’d take Zach Wilson as Allen’s backup right now, and I stand by it. He has athleticism. He has arm talent. And he was surrounded by absolute trash in NJ. Does he have some issues? Sure does. But some of them can be fixed. And if we fix them, he becomes a perfect Allen backup with that athleticism and arm talent. Tell me this doesn’t remind me you of 2018 Josh Allen:

Our defense was decimated by injuries, Dion Dawkins was pushed into Allen’s lap by Chris Jones, our kicker missed a short for the NFL field goal, and the highly paid wide receiver dropped a long pass. Allen led an offense that accumulated more yards than the opponent, 6 more first downs than the opponent, and dominated time of possession by nearly 15 minutes. In another year, the defense allowed the Chiefs to score in 13 seconds. In yet another year, two pass rushers collided together, ruining a clear sack, allowing Deshaun Watson to throw the first down dagger. if Terry wants to see Josh Allen display his leadership, he should look no further than the amount of punishment and injuries he has played through for his teammates. Allen has played through head shots (which I believe were concussions), bruises he acquired from being out defacto RB, and very painful/limiting UCL injuries. He has repeatedly stood up for his teammates as well. For example, he had Diggs back, even when Diggs ran out of the stadium after playoff losses rather than face reporters questions. He does not have to be Tom Brady, yelling at everyone. He is Josh Allen. edit: I am tired of defending Josh Allen, because he shouldn’t need defending. If anyone should be above reproach, it’s him.
