    And to make matters worse, one goes “oof” when the other says Allen leads the league in turnovers over a 3 year span.

    Not only is Deshaun Watson terrible now, he is also impossible to cut.

    This is part of the problem. Allen makes incredible, mind-boggling plays like this so routinely that it becomes “typical”. When everything is extraordinary, the level required to gain favor becomes astronomical. The bar for impressing others skyrockets. It’s not fair, but it is what it is. It is the burden of being an absolute superstar.

    WGR pontificated that the Cardinals purposefully caused that penalty. It’s an interesting thought. It benefits them to allow the first down with less time off the clock.

    The catch he made on the sidelines was better than any catch Worthy made this week, i’ll tell ya that. It was special. It got me excited.

    Yeah I don’t think we will ever know for sure either way. McD would never admit it, even if he did take over. He learned his lesson the first time he admitted that he took over plays.

    When play calling is taken over, the defensive coordinator doesn’t go home and sit oj the recliner. He is still coordinating position groups and actively speaking to the head coach.

    Anyone else notice McDermott did not have the play sheet in the first half, but in the second half he not only had the play sheet but was also actively speaking (with the sheet over his mouth) between every play? It was a night and day difference in defensive play between the first and second half as well. Or maybe he was ordering wings off the stadium menu.
