  1. If Allen is out for 2 games then it’s best to lose those 2 games? Or did you not read the thread at all and simply responded based on the title? There exists words beyond that sentence. Keep reading.
  2. I get it - If Allen goes down with a catastrophic injury, our season is over. That is the case for nearly every NFL team and their starting QB. However, there also exists injuries that are not season ending. Sometimes you need your backup QB to keep things together for a few games until the star comes back. We need to think no farther than 2019 when Mahomes missed 3 games. The Chiefs went 2-1 without him and their backup was able to avoid a collapse. The Chiefs went on to win the Super Bowl that year. Trubisky is an absolute disaster. He’s awful. To that point, two facts/statistics stick out to me: - He was with the Steelers the past two seasons and he was 2-5 when Trubisky starters. That same team was 17-10 over the past two seasons with ANYONE else at QB. He was a handicap for Pitt and he is a handicap for us. - He has started 57 games in the NFL. In that time, he has won a total of 5 times when his team was trailing in the 4th quarter. And his team was usually trailing in the 4th quarter. In other words, if we are down in the 4th quarter, and Trubisky is playing, we are toast.
  3. Russel Wilson is a shell of himself. Seattle really traded him at the perfect time.
  4. Rooting for the local kid but his angles are rough sometimes.
  5. Two 3 yard routes on 3rd and 15… sigh
  6. No one said that. What was said is that ticket sales are not going as well as the Bills had hoped. And that is correct. The last time we heard from the Bills, they claimed that 75% of STH’s were renewing their tickets for the new stadium. Now the Bills are saying that number is down to 60%. The new stadium will be 17% smaller, and they have sold 40% less tickets. There are dozens of posts on the Season Ticket group of people taking about their reps begging them to come back to another appointment to purchase a cheaper ticket. They are trying to drive their numbers higher because they are behind. Truth be told, it’s likely closer to 55%, as the original number was inflated by corporate sponsors purchasing blocks of seats. Summary: Of course tickets are selling. But they are not selling as well as they had hoped. PS, I think Pete is doing a good job. He came in and immediately saw the poor handling in the roll-out of the stadium and took steps to fix that. He began utilizing local media to give tours of the stadium building process which builds hype and awareness. He is now releasing more rendering photos via, again, the Bills media partners. This is what Raccuia and Roth really struggled with.
  7. I can’t tell if this post is sarcasm or not.
  8. I really like Milano and he was All-Pro for us prior to injury. I will never forget him wrecking Dolphins and Jets quarterbacks for us. That being said, you’re not wrong about him being unreliable. He has never played a full season as a starter for us - ever. He missed six games in 2020, a game in 2021, two games in 2022, and then 12 games last year.
  9. If we go 0.500 or less, then that is an indictment on those in charge. Not making the playoffs with a top three quarterback is a major problem. The Chiefs have never let it happen to Mahomes. It only happened once to Brady (in 20 years), and it was only his second season starting. In my opinion, cutting Morse was a mistake. it would be one thing if they had signed or drafted a viable center to replace him. But instead of doing that, they relied on disrupting the unity of the left side of the line, by moving McGovern over.
  10. Id be shocked if it wasn’t in OP with the new stadium.
  11. Is this a crap on Josh Allen thread? Or McD? Im okay with one, but i’m ready to fight if it’s the other.
  12. Correct. As I said, lane 1 and 2 is at approximately 5 meters from Noah. Which is backed up by the mathematical calculation I provided to you. That 2x10^-2 difference is what brings it form 3.9 meters to nearly 5. At this speed, small fractions matter - a lot. Hill, at his 10.19 time, is closer to Noah, than lane 1 and 2 were to Bolt. Which leads me back to my point. You don’t need to find a video - math is math. It is infallible. You are not going to defeat it by frantically searching for YouTube videos in attempt to be right. Well, there ya go. Doubt anyone wants to read us squabble, so this will be my last post on the topic.
  13. This is partially true (and partially nonsense) and it’s the reason why I could see a scenario where Hill defeats Noah in the 40 yard dash. Noah is significantly slower in his first 40 meters than he is in his last 40 meters. With their average speed per 10m Hill would be only 1 yard behind Noah at the finish of the 40. But because Noah is slower in the first half, Hill could perhaps beat him.
  14. Thats why carpenters use measuring tape instead of eye-sight for computing distance. Apart from your gall in disputing math, the distance between 9.58 and 10.00 is greater than the distance between Hills time and Noah’s time (which is incredible by itself). That extra 2.0 x 10^-2 results in greater distance. If you look at your video, you can clearly see the 5 meter and 7 meter marks. Once again, not 10 meters - and this is with even greater time difference. Saying ”I was wrong” is a lost skill by far too many. Truly. It is sad. Pontificating height and stride length when there is pure math that tells the exact story.
  15. Those numbers are the full race. Not a portion of it extrapolated.
  16. The 40 yard dash is a different story. In that, Lyles would only beat hill by a little over a yard. It would be extremely close and look (to the viewer) like a photo finish.
  17. It wouldn't be anywhere close to 10m with those numbers. 10.19 seconds - 9.79 seconds = difference of 0.4 seconds Noah: 100 meters/10.19 seconds = 9.92 meters per second 9.82 meters per second x 0.4 seconds = 3.9 meters Our best guess would be Noah beating Hill by 3.9 meters. Which is 60.7% less than 10 meters.
  18. That’s a prediction for the future. Not a description of the now. In no universe is Hall better than CMC until proven so. That stands for Chubb too. It may even stand for Bijan Robinson.
  19. Breece Hall better than McCaffrey? Surely you jest!?
  20. I’m not so sure. I don’t think the coaching staff liked what they saw from our #2 and #3 QB’s. I wish we traded for Zach Wilson.
  21. Corner play is often affected by S play. I have often felt that our corners play above their natural ability because of elite S play. I’m curious how they do without it.
