I know this is a bit of football 101, but when your defense can’t stop the opposing offense, it puts immense stress on your offense as they feel they need to keep pace with the opponent. The offense starts to press and then it all falls apart.

It’s the off-season and some of us are bored and want a different discussion than the same old stuff we’ve been talking about all week. I personally just pass on by threads that I don’t care for.

Huh? He has been in 2 SB’s in the last 5 years and won the SB in 2020. He had 19 QB hits, 6 sacks, 9 TFL’s, 2 PD’s and a Forced Fumble. He had 2 sacks and TFL’s in that most recent Super Bowl too. .

Yeah hindsight is 20/20. I honestly wasn’t thinking about Suh in November. Kinda wish Beane thought of it though.

He is wreaking havoc in this NFC Championship game. Eagles signed him in November for only $750k + bonuses/incentives. Given our injuries and lack of push by the d-line, do you wish we pursued him? .

I don’t think anyone can honestly say that. We could win a Super Bowl this year. Really depends on how many picks Beane hits on this year.

He didn’t have the talent on defense in Denver that he has in Miami. This is not ideal.

No way around it, this sucks. Fangio is an excellent DC. Better than Frazier IMO.

I just hope we have a quality backup option in case he doesnt make the jump that Beane seems to think he's going to make.

Offensive Line is the clear poll winner, which shows that even a bunch of fans can see the big problem. The odd thing is that Beane said protecting Josh was a priority last season and then proceeded to literally just sign an old castoff guard and nothing else. Does anyone here think McD & Co get into the playoffs without Josh Allen? Maybe they do - as the 7th seed. Now that I think about it, the Bills sans Allen are essentially the Dolphins.

Your argument is basically “Our coaches and GM can’t evaluate talent well enough to see the hidden gems in players, but don’t blame them”. The fact that Hodgins had 5 people in front of him when he was WR2 or WR3 quality is the literal point! Wow.

I respect your opinion but I just don’t think Hamlin had anything to do with it. They were flat long before Hamlin, and the we’re getting overpowered by Cinci in that first matchup before Hamlin went down.

I think the 9ers beat them. They kind of remind me of the 2020 Bills.

Two teams that were 9-8 made the AFC playoffs. You really don’t have to play all that well to make it. They didn’t play well the week before that either. Heck, they haven’t really played well since October. The Bills could go 17-0 in the regular season and I wouldn’t give two craps about that if it meant watching them lose in the playoffs again. There are no regular season championships.

I guess I don’t care about regular season record that much. The Rams we’re 12-5 and won the Super Bowl last season. We have been 13-3 for two of the last three seasons and have jack squat to show for it. The only season I care about now is the postseason. And we have not done well in the postseason. Think about all the coaches with good regular season records and no Super Bowls. I don’t want that to be us.

As horrible as they were, I don't think Kim's health or the Tops shooting or a hot game, nor a snow storm had anything to do with the team crapping the bed. I remain convinced that last season (2021) was our year. We were CLICKING in the playoffs like i've never seen before. And it was stolen by some of the worst end of game coaching I've ever seen.
