  1. Right. And the alternative is you make 2025 and 2026 a $30+M cap hit. Both options kinda suck haha.
  2. Diggs and Von didn't answer anything from media after the game or today. Not exactly ideal leadership, unfortunately, from two of our highest paid players.
  3. Yeah they are in a bad situation. Post June 1 cut/trade would make it a $13.5M cap hit. I realllyyyyyy hope we don't restructure him. We would have to keep him through the end of his deal.
  4. If Beane does this, someone in the front office needs to slap him. Whether its age or something else, Diggs is slowing down. Clearly. Noticeably. Restructuring $12M from the 2024 season would make his cap hits over $30 Million the next two years. He would be uncuttable. Untradeable. Un-anythingable.
  5. Bass was for 2-2 (100%) in under 40 degree weather in the regular season. He was 7-8 (87.5) in under 40 degree weather last season. What really jumps out though is his wild card/divisional playoff stats. He is 3/6 (50%) in the divisional round for his career and 5/7 (71%) in the wild card round.
  6. No it's not. Worse case scenario is Cook fumbles the ball the next play (after Diggs gets the first down) and we lose. Or a ball gets tipped an KC intercepts it. Or what if we get a holding penalty and are pushed back and its 1st and Goal from the 20? Endzone throw was the right call.
  7. - Mitch Morse said he wants to be back with the Bills next year and expects to be. - Dawson Knox, speaking about Allen, said: "I pray I get to play the rest of my career with him and I think everyone in that room would say the same thing... he's a modern gladiator." - Dion Dawkins, speaking about Allen, said: "That performance the kid put on yesterday was insane. It was crazy... he makes it easy for all of us to play ball." - Gabe said he is testing free agency but wouldn't mind coming back to Buffalo. - Leonard Floyd said he will go where the money takes him, but would prefer to be back in Buffalo. - Jordan Phillips says he might retire. - All offensive players, included Allen, shouted support for Joe Brady. - Hyde says he needs time to decide what his next steps will be. - Rousseau gave his vote for McD as D Coordinator, mentioning that he learned a lot under McD. - Gabe and Bernard both said they were planning on playing in the AFCCG. .
  8. Can someone explain to this troll how Mahomes was facing a depleted injury riddled Bills defense and Allen was facing a top 5 Chiefs defense, and Allen still outplayed Mahomes but only had less yards because of drops. I'm too tired.
  9. This is due to drops. If Sherfield caught 1 of his 2 drops, and Diggs caught his long drop, Allen's yards per pass goes from 4.8 to 7.3.
  10. Been yelling this from the rooftops since it happened. Allen made the right decision. Thanks for posting this video.
  11. This can't be stated enough. Even if Bass hits that kick, what are the chances our defense stops KC from getting a field goal? Considering how the game had went, it has to be close to 0%.
  12. But that one great game he had 3 years ago...
  13. Bingo. Allen outplayed Mahomes yesterday. Mahomes just didn't have numerous drops.
  14. Why in the world would he tell Josh that we don't want a TD? That is beyond absurd. You take the TD when you can get it, because you have no idea what will happen if you don't take it. Say Allen his Diggs for the first down instead of throwing for the TD. What if the play after Diggs gets the first down, Cook fumbles the ball? Or a ball is tipped an KC intercepts it? Or we get a holding call that makes it 20 yards to get a first down? You always take the TD when you can get it.
  15. A little under 40% of Allen's INT's over the past two seasons have come when targeting Gabe. Now consider THIS: Gabe has missed 4 games as a Bill. In those 4 games Gabe missed, Allen was 67% for 1020 passing yards, 11 passing TD's, 0 Interceptions and 3 rushing TD's.
  16. Davis told reporters in the Bills’ locker room today that he expects to see what other teams are ready to offer him when free agency begins in March before he makes any decisions about where he’s playing in 2024 and beyond. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/gabe-davis-plans-to-test-free-agency-but-is-open-to-staying-in-buffalo
  17. I'm fine with that. In fact I hope its true.
  18. Who mentioned anything about history (except for you)? You are creating a strawman argument. What was said is that Allen played great. Period. That’s it. Allen deserved the win. Diggs ruined it for him. Sherfield ruined it for him. Dawkins (on one play anyway) ruined it for him. Says the guy who blames Allen for only 7 second half points and points to Klein (who gave up a grand total of TWO receptions to Kelce the entire game).
  19. This. It’s like some posters have amnesia that Gabe has had a 52% catch rate over the past two seasons. And it’s not like we needed Gabe to stretch the defense. Sherfield and Diggs were getting open deep just fine - they just dropped all 3 deep attempts.
  20. Post of the thread right here. 100% correct. Those saying he was better in 13 seconds only remember the final 5 minutes. We punted FOUR times in that 13 seconds game. Allen played well of course, but it was two TD’s in blown coverages against the Chiefs backups that made the game legend. The Gabe TD that extended the game, no one was within 10 yards of him. Last night, Allen was methodical. Brady-esque at times. He repeatedly took the smart play, whether that be a quick hitter for 5 yards or a swing pass, or extending the drive with his legs. Had Sherfield and Diggs not coated their hands in butter, and Dawkins not manhandled, Allen would have had close to 400 yards of offense and 4 TD’s last night.
  21. Goodness gracious no he wasn’t. If Dawkins wasn’t pushed back into Allen as he threw to a wide open Shakir, we have 30+ points last night against a top 5 Chiefs defense. We scored 20 points against that same defense with Gabe a couple months ago. We need new receivers everywhere, but once again Gabe doesn’t play and Allen doesn’t throw an INT. Not a coincidence.
  22. You continue to have a difficult time separating an individual persons play from the offense as a whole. - ALLEN threw a 70 yard bomb into the bread basket of his receiver on that final drive, and the receiver dropped it. That’s not on Allen. - ALLEN diagnosed the defense and found a wide open Shakir for the go ahead TD and his left tackle was manhandled so badly on the play that he was pushed into him as he threw it. That’s not on Allen. - ALLEN did not call a run on 1st down into a stacked box, effectively wasting a play. If receivers had caught the balls Allen threw perfectly, we are talking about 300+ yard passing and 70+ yard rushing and 4 TD game for Allen. If his LT didn’t get manhandled on 2nd and 9, we are talking about Allen throwing a laser for the go ahead TD. Again, these are not Allen’s fault. There are 10 other players on the offense. Not just Allen. .
