  1. There’s a McDermott bag too. Has this picture on it 😉
  2. We averaged 26 points per game when Knox was out. We lost against Denver because we had 12 defenders on the field. And we lost against Philly after scoring 34 points. Maybe he would have helped against Cinci 🤷🏻‍♂️
  3. Just FYI: Been trying to purchase the Allen grocery bags for a while and they’re very rare to find, but Wegmans just re-stocked them. Go quick if you want one. I grabbed a couple.
  4. Yeah I got ganged up on in this thread for being right. That being said, I don't mind having Knox on the team. I think he really does add something both from his blocking ability and his leadership. I just never thought that those skills were worth a top 5 TE contract. It's just wild to think he makes only $1M less a year than Travis Kelce, and yet averages only 34 receptions per year.
  5. I love Josh Allen and there is no other QB I would take in the NFL over him. That's all I have to say.
  6. I hope he proves me wrong but Shorter has the feel of one of those high-ceiling prospects that never pans out.
  7. The way the forum logic works is that every time someone respond to a thread, it "bumps" the thread up to the top of the page where more people see the thread and then click on it and post within it. If *you* don't like a thread, here are your best options: 1) Don't click it. If you do not click on the thread title, you will not enter the thread. If you do not enter the thread, you won't have to be subjected to opinions that aggravate you so much. 2) If you don't have the willpower NOT to click the thread title, then the second best option is to NOT REPLY in the thread. Every time you reply in a thread you hate, you push it back towards the top of the page. If your goal is to make it go away, you should do the opposite of what you have done nearly 10 times in this thread - reply. I hope I was able to help.
  8. Yeah I wasn’t going to “out” him like that, but yeah…. @R. Rich is friends with him too. Its a small world.
  9. He was a great person and was active in the school that my family is in. One of his children is good friends with one of mine. Young man with 4 young children and a wife. I can’t imagine what they’re going through right now. If you feel like blessing a young family that really needs it right now, I will include the link below. These are good people and I assure you every dollar would help. https://www.gofundme.com/f/james-morgante .
  10. Can we ADD wind coming in from the sides to push Bass’s slices back inside the upright? Im thinking some sort of dam system where we open large hydraulic doors that let in wind at key moments!
  11. Not building a dome is going to be a topic of conversation for another 50 years 😂. Especially in 20 years when the cost of domes will be $10 Billion, there will be a ton of fans screaming “we could have done it for only $500 million more!!!!”.
  12. Yeah… I truly don’t understand the posters who are happy with going on forever as long as we competitive. I’m fine with a bit more time… but FOREVER!? I just don’t understand that mindset. It’s like settling for being a continual loser (but one of the better losers).
  13. I have zero proof but it just seems improbable that McD has no say in this.
  14. No. I wouldn't. He is truly a bad QB. If we had to turn to him, I'd have zero faith we win the game.
  15. With how much the Chiefs struggled last night, it furthers my belief that the Chiefs are not better than Buffalo. What did they have headed into the 4th? 3 points?
  16. Narratives. They swing by a loose thread.
  17. No. You go for the 2 point conversion in that case. This is basic analytics folks. You kick-off, get the extra down on your possession, then go for 2 to win the game. Which is exactly what KC would have done even if San Fran scored a TD on their first possesion. I bet no coach ever takes the ball first in that situation ever again (playoff OT rules).
  18. It doesn’t make sense. There was not going to be a third time. Even if SF scored a TD, KC was just going to score a TD and then go for a 2 point conversion (which is the right move). No one was getting a third possesion.
  19. I oscillate with McD. I think he is a good person and man, and has built a strong culture. I also think we can do a lot worse than him. But there is no question in my mind that he has limited us in certain games. In fact, Shanahan made some head scratching decisions last night that remind me of the type of decisions that McDermott tends to make that has cost us games. Blunders like: - Wanting the ball first in OT, which gives you little strategic advantage. You always want to know what you need and by getting the ball second, you know what you need. Some will argue that the potential third possession is why you take the ball first, but that puts you into a corner where you lose an entire down (4th) on your drive. Even if the 49ers scored a TD, KC would have just scored a TD and went for the 2 point conversion to win it. No third possession was coming - Not adjusting to the Chiefs pressure on 3rd downs. The Chiefs were bringing pressure on nearly every third down and the 49ers still looked shocked by it in the 4th quarter and OT. - Abandoning Christian McCaffrey for a quarter and a half. These are the types of mistakes McD tends to make and it doesn’t seem to ever be changing.
  20. I don’t know how anyone can watch that game last night and come away thinking Mahomes is why they won. Both TD’s were wide open throws. I actually thought Mahomes looked fairly pedestrian. Its too bad the 49er defensive player couldn’t hold on to the INT Mahomes threw to him that may have sealed the game in regulation.
  21. Considering our offense was better than KC’s in nearly every category, including yards AND points… I think we would have been fine.
