  1. Aren’t Achilles injury a worse prognosis than ACL? I don’t recall where, but I do recall reading that that at some point.
  2. It may be the prudent move to let Douglas walk considering his age. I just don’t know what our CB room is going to be like without him? Tre coming off 2 ACL injuries, Benford who is often injured, and Elam? Yikes.
  3. Now imagine she goes in public and announces that she dreams of having coiutus with these other gentlemen!
  4. You don’t seem to know what tone deaf means, because nothing I said was tone deaf. What you seem to mean is “how dare you change the spectrum of your thoughts in any way when more detail becomes available?”. Which is weird. The context makes it more grey because he may have been attempting to make a child smile. That being said, I stand by my previous comments. It’s a stupid thing to say that it’s a dream to be employed by a competing business when your current business is still writing your paychecks.
  5. Ahh… that context does make things a bit more gray. I’d still be pissed if Josh said it though 😂
  6. But it’s not just a game. Players are employees of the team. Just because their job is a game doesn’t mean it’s any less of a job. If an executive at Wegmans was publically talking about how much he wanted to be at Tops, he wouldn’t be around for wrong.
  7. I’m shocked at how many fans are excusing this. You are a highly paid Bills player. You don’t say this publicly when you’re under contract. Something tells me none of you would be okay with it if it was Josh Allen talking about how it would be a dream to play for New England (he grew up a Patriots fan). That being said, I don’t really care about Hamlin being on this team, so whatever. But the comment is totally tone deaf.
  8. I can’t speak for others, but him saying that would give me an entirely new level of respect for him. But not just a generic coach-speak version where the guy says “it all falls on me” … “i take the blame” … yada yada. But a genuine “I made some serious mistakes tonight. They shouldn’t have happened and they can’t happen ever again. I know that a couple different coaching decisions and we would be hosting the AFC Championship game next week. Part of this off-season will be spent making sure these mistakes never reoccur”. If he said that after 13 Seconds, my respond for him would have skyrocketed. It would have made a world of difference in my eyes and I think many others as well. Instead we got coach speak and some of the same mistakes happening again.
  9. lol. Yeah i'm sure Mahomes would have held back if Dawkins didn't say "good luck". 🤣 Mahomes and the Chiefs are lucky they played our backups. Otherwise they wouldnt have won.
  10. Folks, he is telling you to take his posts with a grain of salt. Do so.
  11. No one motioned. There wasn't enough time for this. Which is why they didn't even run it. If KC runs a deep over, games over. They barely had time to throw a quick hitter to Kelce and call a T.O. You mentioned the previous drive with the deep slant to Hill. That took 8 seconds to get him the ball and for him to get into field goal range (it took him almost 12 seconds to get into the endzone). There was only 6 seconds left when Mahomes released the ball. You can defend this all you want, but the conclusion is always the same - we messed up. We are not talking about playing press man (although telling Wallace to grab Kelce and hold onto him for dear life would have been a far better scenario, even with the 5 yard holding penalty). We are simply talking about not letting KC run 18 yards downfield without a single defender touching him. There is a reason why we have NEVER run that defense again in the closing seconds since 13 seconds. Even if Wallace gets beat, Kelce having to fight through him for a couple seconds likely ends the game.
  12. lol I don't think the players were confused or wanted answers about getting beat for a TD. They likely wanted answers for why we didnt squib kick with 13 seconds left, and why we played so far off Kelce, allowing him to go 20+ yards to get into field range in a matter of seconds.
  13. I would have so much respect for him if he did this. I love when coaches are brutally honest. I truly believe it also helps the players. I was so shocked when I heard McKenzie say that the coaches didnt even give the players any answers for what went wrong in 13 seconds.
  14. Several logical fallacies here. Non sequitur, false equivocation, post hoc ergo propter hoc, etc. There is a critical distinction between winning regular winning season games and achieving a specific outcome (a Super Bowl). A coach winning many games shows potential but doesn't directly prove the ability to reach the Super Bowl, which is a specific achievement requiring overcoming all playoff opponents, which in this case, the coach has shown no ability to do. Thus, your argument diverts attention from the ultimate goal (Super Bowl appearance) to a related but different measure of success (winning regular season games). This essentially shifts the conversation logic. After all, if the logic wasn't moved, it would be easy to see that he has a losing record in the playoffs, rather a winning record, which would make the opposite point of your argument.
  15. Same feeling I got. The message of "just keep trying and eventually it'll work" is not ideal. That's not the way life works. Thousands of scientists have died at 80 some years old having never proved their theorem, and plenty of mechanical engineers have passed on without every completing their invention, etc etc etc. It doesn't just "eventually work". You have to continually evolve.
  16. I guess not at your store. At any near me, yes! People were actually marking them up and selling them online. (Unless you mean generic Bills bags. Those are always available.)
  17. There’s a McDermott bag too. Has this picture on it 😉
  18. We averaged 26 points per game when Knox was out. We lost against Denver because we had 12 defenders on the field. And we lost against Philly after scoring 34 points. Maybe he would have helped against Cinci 🤷🏻‍♂️
  19. Just FYI: Been trying to purchase the Allen grocery bags for a while and they’re very rare to find, but Wegmans just re-stocked them. Go quick if you want one. I grabbed a couple.
  20. Yeah I got ganged up on in this thread for being right. That being said, I don't mind having Knox on the team. I think he really does add something both from his blocking ability and his leadership. I just never thought that those skills were worth a top 5 TE contract. It's just wild to think he makes only $1M less a year than Travis Kelce, and yet averages only 34 receptions per year.
  21. I love Josh Allen and there is no other QB I would take in the NFL over him. That's all I have to say.
