    This is the key for both teams, in my opinion. If either team can take a two score lead (10-0 or better), the other team will be in deep doo-doo.

    Makes you wonder why they haven’t brought in another kicker until Bass is healed. Maybe there simply is no-one available that is better.

    I agree. It has been 11 games since we attempted a field goal over 50 yards. And in that time, we have either went for 4th down or even PUNTED rather than kick a 50 plus harder. That’s different from previous years.

    I don’t love the weather but im more worried about all the defensive starters or support players that will be out. Rapp possibly out? He has been strong against the run. Same with Dodson. Rasul gone. Watching Hamlin try to stop the run is hard. Yea, this actually works. Cardboard acts as an insulator.

    Love this story. Makes me yearn for simpler times. This would never be possible today.

    The heat lamps increase the "feels like" temp by about 20 degrees, in my opinion. A 30 degree day, feels like a 50 degree day (under the lamps). A 15 degree day, feels like a 35 degree day. Etc, etc. But ONLY if you are row 7 and UP. If you are row 6 or lower, the lamps do little to nothing.

    What's odd about that is Douglas insinuated he was ready to go back out there and play in the Dolphins game. Weird. But either way I could definitely see him sitting out the Steelers game, especially with all that snow and slipperiness.

    I think there is a non-zero chance he isn't on the roster next year. I know he was injured earlier this year but he has been off the injury report for several weeks now and we still aren't even activating him for backup/special-teams duty.

    Titans, who announced their stadium deal 13 months after the Bills did, have released their 3d walkthrough of the new stadium: I love how you can see the field from all of the concession stands. It's beautiful inside.

    Part of the reason we ran all over the Cowboys is about their defense is small. They are built to stop the pass. It wasn't an amazing scheme/approach that enabled us to run on them. Steelers defense is a different beast.

    Yeah Martin has played well the last few games. I'm pretty worried about Bass though. We haven't even attempted a 50+ yard field goal in 11 games. We have either went for it, or punted, from our 35+ yard line several times. I don't know if they have lost faith in Bass or what.

    Just FYI, that script has seem to flip (for the Steelers) over the past three games. Last week: 155 rushing yards Week before: 202 rushing yards Week before that: 113 rushing yards They seem to have found something in their rushing game over the past three weeks that they didn’t have most of the season.
