I feel that Knox can be used in that way, motion at least once every series to get LB's confused. He has the speed to do that. No one will ever be like Kelce, dude is a freak. I'm trying to point out, Dawson does what he can do given the plays called and the throws by Josh. He catches nearly everything thrown to him, people only remember the occasional drop. He has caught it as well if not better than every TE in the league. He was tied for as the #1 scoring TE last season. He can also block. Not sure what people want him to do. He's running wide open and the ball goes to Davis or Diggs. That's not a Knox problem.
-
He's had 26 targets the past 7 games, 21 catches and 2 scores. 80.1% catches Kelce (looking at the best in the league) has had 60 targets, 40 catches and 5 scores - 66.7% catches Totally agree. I'm pointing out to those who attack the guy... he can only try to catch what is thrown his way. He's caught 80% of passes thrown at him the past 7 games with 3 scores. He's blocking his ass off as well.

Kelce is the elite standard in the NFL for TE's. Well, the elite at any level... probably ever. As the years have gone by, the Chiefs use so much motion with him, he's so difficult to defend. We should be doing the same thing with Knox. Dawson is a BEAST with the ball... he's like Josh when it comes to welcoming hits. But when he's open, gotta try to get him the ball. Those ripping him for drops? Lets look at targets v catches the last few games... Pats: 1 target, 0 catches Lions: 2 targets, 2 catches Browns: 7 targets, 7 catches Viks: 6 targets, 4 catches Jets; 4 targets, 3 catches Packers: 3 targets, 2 catches - 1 TD Chiefs: 3 targets, 3 catches - 1 TD Forget the situation or the coverage, throw, etc... he's had 26 targets his last 7 games with 21 catches and 2 scores.
-
He had one lob weird pass that was more of a toss, weird angle. The whole game. He was open most of the game and blocked his ass off. He on Judon most of the game and guess how many sacks the leading sackman in the NFL did last night?
-
Diggs TD, Dawson was WIDE open. If Josh threw it to Dawson, it would have been an easier touchdown throw and catch. Strip play, Knox and Motor alone. Slant to McKenzie. Knox was 4 yards behind the Judon and no one in sight. Josh dumps it off instead of hitting Knox for a long gain or TD. Josh threw it to Diggs on this play. Diggs made one hell of a catch for the first. Dawson was streaking across the field... no one around him. Another pass (side arm) to Isiah McKenzie (resulted in a first down). Look at who's all alone in the middle of the field.
-
Did you watch the game last night?
-
He had one drop. One target. The lone target was more of a flip to him... not a normal pass. Knox was open all night and Josh just didn't throw him the ball.
-
Yep! The Diggs TD... Knox did a crossing pattern and was ALONE in the middle of the endzone. I have Knox on my Fantasy League team and I really hyperfocus on his play. He was open half a dozen times... especially on check downs and Josh went to the RB's instead.

Where to buy new Josh Allen Wyoming Jersey with name on back?

You're arguing with a brick wall. I continue to do the same. Alabama/SEC fan that thinks all the other conferences are worthless and need to drop down to FCS (D2) so the entire world can see how amazing teams like Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Missouri actually are. The best team in the Big XII or the ACC would finish 10th in the SEC because? They are the SEC and Bill says so. Forget the actual national experts and computers who think teams like TCU have a top 10 SOS (some have them #1) it's invaild because Bill thinks otherwise. Bill knows all Bill loves easy winners so he roots for Alabama Bill says the SEC is the only conference that matters
-
I'm not ripping on Rhule and I'm not saying Baylor wasn't a joke prior to Briles, I'm a Big XII guy so I've watched Baylor up close for nearly 30 years. Actually had a friend play and start at MLB for the Bears in the mid-90s (Tony Tubbs). I just disagree with the "elite" label.

Ed Oliver named AFC defensive player of the week
ArdmoreRyno replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ed has always been a badass in Madden's. If you time it, he will bowl right over OLmen. -
I'm not arguing how Alabama is, how good they historically are or how good they've been the past 15 years. I'm arguing that the SEC isn't the only conference. I'm arguing your opinion on the Big XII is way off. I'm arguing your claim about TCU's SOS is wrong. We talk about the Playoffs and conferences, then you bring it back around to Alabama. Alabama is a non-factor this year in this discussion.

He was a good coach... not sure about "elite". He managed to take them from 1-11 to 11-3 in his 3 seasons. Baylor won 40 games the previous 4 years before they hired him (actually 39-13). He went 8-17 in his first two years before his one big year of 11-3. So not sure he was "elite". What Scott Frost did at UCF was more impressive IMO. Before they hired Frost, they went 0-12. Took them from 0-12 to 6-7 then a perfect 13-0 in just two years. That was way more impressive than what Rhule did.

Purdue vs. Michigan Big 10 Championship Game 12/3 At Indy
ArdmoreRyno replied to Rico's topic in College Football
Never know... TCU are a tough team. They just find ways to win. USC has an offense that can score on any play. Will be fun to see this year. -
Same goes for UGA v TCU or Michigan v TCU... but until they play, we don't know. That's why we need the expansion IMO. People like Bill doesn't think anyone else matters but SEC teams (maybe a Big 10 team or two every so often). He completely rules out the Big XII or PAC12 has any shot v those conferences... even though I have shown, the Big XII has DOMINATED the other power 5 conferences the past few years. Bill and his BS gets so old. The world doesn't revolve around the SEC.

Don't think you really get it dude. There are only 3-4 teams like Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson and UGA. 3 or 4 teams like Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, UNC in basketball. You act like a snobby OU fan... that you're better than EVERYONE else because you root for a team that has a history of success. It's EASY to root for those teams. Takes no effort to suffer through a heartbreaking season (last year or 2011 for Oklahoma State for example in football). You remind me of Okies around here (term I'm proud of BTW) in the 80's... root for OU and the Dallas Cowboys. Just root for the team who wins. Bandwagon fans. You Bama fans are just better than everyone else I guess. A program who had to drag themselves out of hell after getting the 2nd worst NCAA punishment in history... going from 0-10-1 to a program who has the 10th most overall wins the past 15 years isn't "so-so at best". You have a f'ed up idea of what a "bottom feeder" is dude. Explain how a program who is 145-61 (v 193-27 for Alabama), 10th in the country for win/loss and winning percent is a bottom feeder??? New Mexico State at 46-137 and a 25% win rate? That's a bottom feeder. Not a team who plays for the conference title virtually every season (along with OU). Your mindset is so annoying. Alabama is the New England of college football. Think they're better than everyone else so everyone else is wrong and can go to hell.

Is the worm turning on college punting?
ArdmoreRyno replied to reddogblitz's topic in College Football
Fresno has been a special teams leading program since as far as I can remember (going back to the early 90's). Not a fan of the rugby style kicking. Oklahoma State had a 29 year old Aussie punter (he got hurt this year) who's a rugby kicker. He got hurt and then was replaced by a normal punting style kicker. Dude who came in to replace him was 10x better. Not sure why the rugby punt style is so popular in college. -
"There are probably 6 or 7 better teams in the SEC." You lost ALL creditability with his moronic statement. What a dumb thing to say. TEAM A played, and beat, 9 bowl eligible teams this season. Five of whom were ranked at the time. TEAM B has played 7 bowl eligible teams this season. Five of those ranked and finished 3-2 vs those teams. TEAM C has played 7 bowl eligible teams, beat 2 ranked teams TEAM D has played 7 bowl eligible teams, beat 2 ranked teams TEAM E has played 6 bowl eligible teams, 3 ranked teams and went 2-1 vs those teams Big XII recently (vs power 5 conferences) SEC: 5-2 overall the past 3 years, 4-0 in bowl games Big 10: 4-4 overall the past 3 years (2-0 this year), 0-1 in bowl games Pac12: 7-0 the last 3 years (13-2 the last 5 season), 3-0 in bowl games (4-0 L4 years) ACC: 4-4 the last 3 years, 1-1 in bowl games 20-10 vs Power 5 teams out of conference 8-2 vs Power 5 teams in bowl games You need to stop with the Big XII hate my man. TEAM A: TCU TEAM B: Alabama TEAM C : UGA TEAM D : Michigan TEAM E: USC

Yea, I did read your post and I never said you claimed Bama was going to the Playoffs. I'm questioning your SOS numbers, which as I figured... you pulled out of your rear or didn't really listen to what they said. ESPN has TCU #1 in SOS. You can look it up. Not just something you heard on "Sirius ESPNU", lol. Your evidence is your ears. I can post the link to mine. "Ohio State's schedule ws ranked 69th in terms of difficulty, whereas Alabama's was ranked 9th" Hell, tOSU's SOS is FOURTH per ESPN. Why can't you just admit you were wrong? I'd give TCU about a 25% chance to beat UGA. Who knows. I didn't think an average Kentucky team would stay so close to Georgia like they did. UK missed a short FG with like 5 minutes left if I remember correctly... should have been 16-9 late in the 4Q. I didn't think LSU would lost to freakin' A&M. Here's the thing: YOU DON'T KNOW EITHER. That's why we need a playoff and even more so, an expanded playoff... to answer these questions. Not just "SEC and no one else matters" crap that you say.

The Bills won against the Lions because… ( karma reasons only)

Finally turned my Bills cap around. -
LOL, "Garbage schedule". Where do you get your SOS numbers? Practically everyone has TCU in the top 20, some have them top 10 (including ESPN ranking them with the #1 most difficult schedule in college football). Yet, the Alabama man... they think they have a garbage one. 🤣 Jeff Sagarin has TCU 21st and Alabama 28th ESPN FPI: TCU 1, Alabama 5 TeamRankings: TCU 9, Alabama 1 Power Rankings Guru: TCU 18, Alabama 25 What's comical is you refuse to believe anyone has the right to play in a playoff other than SEC teams (or Big 10 teams). This is why you have no validity. TCU is 5-0 vs top 25 teams Alabama is 3-2 vs top 25 teams
