I mean one was a reaction to a person being treated lesser than human and people claiming trans was being “forced” on them over a single promo beer can. The other is a billionaire dancing on stage with a chainsaw after destroying the livelihoods of thousands. (Yes, there was fat, yes it needed to be cut but a billionaire celebrating it is awful.) That said, anyone retaliating by burning or destroying a Tesla should be arrested and held to the highest charge. Actually, it was really nice. Took the little dude (14 months now! - and he “slept in” till 6am - win!) to lunch and then the park. Caught the end of the Auburn/FL game, and now ready for Saturday pizza night in which the little man will feed the already overweight beagle half his plate. Serious question. Do you not think having the infrastructure to make everything in America being in place BEFORE crushing the entire countries 401ks would have been more prudent? Like I mentioned in another thread, I’m “down” over a quarter million in my 401ks and brokerage accounts. But I’m not worried as it’s all unrealized, hence the quotes. But two points: 1) people who had planned to retire this year are potentially ***** hard, and 2) I’m lucky to be in this position where $280k of unrealized gains went away over two days and it didn’t impact me. His base, made up by a good chunk of lower class, were promised lower prices, starting on day one (I’ll forgive the hyperbole of day one, but I’m sure they “trusted” him just like we’re all being asked to do now.) Yet these folks living paycheck to paycheck are now one fender bender, one appliance failure, one medical emergency away from true financial ruin. Are we saying he doesn’t truly care about his constituents? All I’m saying is that if he really cared about bringing jobs back to America, he needed to build the infrastructure. Instead, people will go through financial hell for 3-5 years + waiting. But we’re just being asked to “trust” him. Yikes.
