RFK In Charge of Health Care
stevestojan replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Weird. Did I misspell “measles” as “covid?” Checks note… nope. if he wanted to eliminate the covid vaccine that Trump rushed to market with operation warp speed, I’d be fine with that. To imply vaccines, including the ***** measles vaccine, causes autism? He’s a danger to children. -
RFK In Charge of Health Care

Cool. So we will get rid of Red Dye #3 and bring back Measles. That’s a fair trade. Thanks Bobby! Edit: to be clear, I do agree with removing those insane dyes in everything - compare US Fruit Loops to UK, for example - but I loathe this man for his anti-vaccine rhetoric. -
BDS is strong with this one. And you said the list is in the hands of the government. But the attorney general of the United States told us there was no list. That doesn’t seem to make sense. But you’ll surely clarify.

“In February, I did an interview on Fox, and it’s been getting a lot of attention because I said – I was asked a question about the client list - and my response was, ‘it’s sitting on my desk to be reviewed,’ meaning the file along with the JFK and MLK files … That’s what I meant by that.” - The Attorney General of the United States of America. Holy F.uck… what??? Oh, what a cabinet! Oh, per the DOJ you say? Well in that case!…. Come on, man. Maybe pick a department that isn’t currently the laughing stock. And try real hard to not use any whataboutism. Comparing this to another awful cabinet under Biden doesn’t make it any better. Total ***** show. She had a list. A list doesn’t exist. Those two things cannot exist in the same world. This has nothing to do with what he campaigned on. That’s done and over. He’s got 3.5 years of lame duck “do whatever the ***** he wants” time left. This is more than just an apology from Pammy. But I do appreciate that you tried to show some level of objectivity in your last sentence.

Trump needs to fire Pam Bondi!

Not sure why man, but I trust a man in his 40s who wears a beanie 24/7. -
There’s a time and a place. This was neither. Little kids died. If his point is that it was caused - or at least not mitigated - by the actions of the current administration that the families of the victims voted for (which is clearly his “point,”) an op ed piece in a few months would be somewhat more appropriate. But that would also require him to point to specific cuts that happened before the flood that added to the death toll, rather than a cheap shot in a cartoon. But oh boy did he get some clicks.

God I hope no one from the Chiefs message board comes here and sees this thread.

It’s stories like this that make it hard for me to believe in a higher power; call him what you will. If there is truly some all powerful all loving being, why would he allow/cause such horror? And in this case, allow it to happen to innocent children who were specifically at a sleepaway camp that was meant to praise the very same “all loving” entity? I give a lot of credit to those who can still live their lives with that belief system because the counter points are just endless. The unimaginable grief the families must be going through right now…. just brutal. So if a belief in something I’ll never understand somehow eases any of that pain, who am I to judge. Just horrific in every way.

I know we’re both on the same side of the aisle but can we just all stop with this nonsense? No one supports known pedos. No one would vote for one. We want to know if there were any on the list because that would certainly be cause for concern on both sides; I think we can all agree on that? The thing we can judge MAGAs on in this case is the hurricane speed spin and whataboutism they are putting on this. “It’s sitting on my desk right now to review. That’s been a directive by President Trump. I’m reviewing that.” - The Attorney General of the United States, February 1, 2025.

Ha! Ok. Didn’t know if it was just a stray shot. My bad Boyst 🍻

I had five months of paid paternity leave with my son. I have a very stressful job. I have over 500 employees in my span of control (obviously directors who work for me, managers for them, etc, etc). But like everyone, work is “stressful.” Without question, those 5 months of pat leave were the hardest job I’ve ever had, by orders of magnitude. I think some folks on here are baby boomers, who I believe the stat is that something like 80% never changed a diaper… And if it shows my lack of work ethic, GOOD. I know on my death bed I won’t say “I wish I had spent one more month on that project to make my company another couple million.” I will say “I wish I had 1 more minute with Liam.”

Thanks man. It was brutal - of course moreso for my wife - but in the end, we kept trying and now have my mini me, whose 17 months, and is sooooo close to saying “go bills” I think we’re like a week away. ☺️

That’s REALLY early to announce broadly (from sad personal experience).

Curious on your thoughts on this bill. What are the positives? I can’t weed through all the “millions will lose healthcare” (which is horrifying if it’s not done with precision to only remove those who are abusing the system) rhetoric so I’m interested in learning what the positive is? Tax free OT? Seems lame. No tax on tips? Sounds like it was written by someone who never worked for tips. Not being argumentative; honestly curious what the pros are to the bill from someone on the other side of the aisle I respect.

For those saying “this is what we voted for…”

Yes, of course. But unless they used an AI Trump, they are simply using clips of the man speaking. I fully understand he has been misquoted/taken out of context by the left many times before - “very good people” “suckers and losers,” to name a few times the left embarrassed themselves by taking things out of context when they don’t need to because he has plenty of stupid s.hit on his own accord - but these are pretty clear cut, regardless of which station reported on them, no? Inflation is not going down, egg prices spiked in March but are back down (and while I truly don’t believe the POTUS has control, nor should worry about ***** eggs - just eat less eggs, fatties - , he said he would reduce the price “from day one” so he should have just skipped that one, but my biggest issue is: “We’re not going to touch Medicare” is a pretty binary statement - and regardless if it was posted on MSNBC or Breitbart, it’s an out and out lie.
