  1. If this game gets moved to ATL, I’m confident the Bills win by 3 scores. Remember how well Josh played with no fans during COVID? Add a dome to that and Josh will have a field day.
  2. This is one of the few comparisons that I completely agree with. Both guys were very pleasant surprises - outplaying expectations and playing as “dawgs” as the kids say.
  3. “nowadays.” 😂 love when people say this. Because back in the “good old days” companies didn’t care about profit, and were just giant Santas, sprinkling their EBITDA around to the poors like magic fairy dust.
  4. The NHL has superstition down pat. Those guys avoid touching the conf championship trophies as if the the metal were radioactive. They have one goal. No one will remember - or care - that we won the division. They’ll certainly remember the parade in WNY that will likely cause readings on a seismograph if these guys bring home a Lombardi.
  5. He’s “trash talking” into an echo chamber of Bills fans. Bills fans who should know better than to throw any bad juju in the air that will make this an “aged like milk” post if the Steelers win. Humble and hungry.
  6. I’m not even upset that there will be countless unoriginal McDaniel memes with the “I wish it were colder” shirt. Maybe he’ll start acting like a grown up and not like he’s auditioning for the 5th nerd on Big Bang Theory and thinking he’s the most clever person in the room.
  7. That last drop by Waddle was 100% a business decision.
  8. I am the most superstitious fan there is. I would never. But good heads up for others. I just like to observe them. Like I’m Jane Goodall.
  9. This Dolphins team has to go down as one of the worst collapses in NFL history. And it’s awesome. Can’t wait to peruse finheaven post game.
  10. I bet they’re already clearing shelf space in Canton for that helmet….
  11. I’m sure it’s been mentioned but are the short sleeves on some of these guys literally just lowIQ “I’m tough” nonsense? Like why would you torture yourself? I can’t imagine how that feels just in the air, much less when scraping against that frozen ground/concrete.
  12. Well looks like “just staying alive” will now certainly wrap up the comeback player of the year for Damar. Nice job by getting those late season wins by Flacco but yikes - that’s poor performance in the biggest game so far.
  13. I won’t do it, but you run the joint: can you please pin a post telling this to people who don’t understand that unless we build a 200 square mile wide dome, covering all of the 90, 290, and all roads to and from the game, a dome covering the field has ZERO to do with this decision. KC is playing in life threatening cold. NFL doesn’t give a stevestojan. and this is from me, one of the biggest proponents for a dome this side of some clever analogy I can’t think of since I’m running on 4 hours of sleep over the last three nights combined.
  14. i want a dome. but that has nothing to do with this convo. This is about the NFL protecting themselves from having already drunk drivers having to sled their way homes in 2000 pound wrecking balls. im the biggest proponent of a dome. But this game would be postponed if it was being played in a nuclear bunker.
  15. Guess we’ll have to take a 50-3 lead into the half to get some guys some rest.
  16. i actually don’t think they care about the fans once they are in the stadium (see: KC at negative a billion degrees). It’s more the driving to the game being dangerous.
  17. Fantastic news assuming the weather will be better. Playing tomorrow would have been a carnival game where whoever gets the ball to bounce the right way wins. Reminder: the “blue collar Buffalo tough” thing is a figment of some boomers’ imagination. Josh is from California. No one likes to play in god awful weather and it loses any semblance of skill-based result. oh and should be safer for fans, if that’s your thing.
  18. Ok, agree. But I only wish the bills were building a new stadium soon and took these season-impacting weather issues into account. Like a roof of some sort. That would be awesome.
  19. We’d have a much better advantage is this game moved to Indy. No one has an advantage playing in this muck, especially not a QB from California. The 10 point line might as well be 0. Or 50. As the skill of the players is damn near out the window. The idea of “buffalo blue collar bad weather team” is laughable in most cases anyway, but playing a team from the exact same geographical area makes it absurd.
  20. Gabe may be the best downfield blocker on the team. It’s an unusual thing to be dominate at - I’ve never considered it to be a needed skill for a great WR. But without this, several big plays would not have been do big. That said, he’s clearly not a WR2 in the traditional sense of ….. well, catching a football. So while he’s a unicorn when it comes to downfield blocking, that doesn’t trump his downfall from potential WR1 on a team that doesn’t have a Diggs on the roster to a guy who seemingly gets lost on routes (some were Josh’s fault no doubt) and literally struggles to catch. He’s not Von Miller level of useless. Few are. But he’s not Sheffield had nothing but upside in my exhausted opinion.
  21. Thanks Rubes! i jokingly said to my wife “I’m not sure how I’ll feel if he gets to see a SB after only being alive for a month when I’ve had to suffer for 43 years.” 😂
  22. Irish Serb - an even more intriguing combination. And he’ll be 1/4 Jewish so this pot is a melted one.
