  1. BTW, what did everyone think of Jerry Hughes last year? Everyone dissed him as a former first rounder that would not contribute.
  2. Am I the only one who believes Leodis acted ridiculously after the return? Save that for a TD, McK
  3. I guess the clock would have started to run again (since Freddie got tackled inbounds), and the refs asked him if he wanted to take a timeout before the clock started again, I guess it was then that he argued that the booth replay equaled a timoeut?
  4. Oh, come on! Maybe you dislike him, but he was a dominant player for many years, winning three rings and setting all TE records before retiring. I used to hate him when he was an active player, but that does not take away from any of these accomplishments. He clearly deserves it and I'm even happier because Sterling got, in a way, his induction through Shannon.
  5. Dick Jauron, asked about the security of his job: "I don’t know. That’s not a question to ask me."
  6. Bills COO Russ Brandon on Dick Jauron's status: "I am not commenting on that. Obviously this is a low point for all of us."
  7. I know I'm a horrible human being, but right now, I would like to hear a constant BEEP from his heart monitor.
  8. YES!! We're coming back in this one people NOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTT
  9. The bit about TE is really great, because you could read DJ between the lines and come up with these conclussions. Which by the way, is sad, because it shows his lack of confidence in the players/staff.
  10. Wow, hilarious, I'm laughing my ass off... great post!
  11. Wow I can't believe how much fun I had... yippee!
  12. Very close to my list... you just missed Bucky Brooks and Brad Lamb.
  13. I think that speaks more for the talent of the rest of the players on the team, than for Wade's talent as a HC.
  14. For those of us who will go through it...
  15. Why would you buy the Bills instead of the Patriots?
  16. I'm getting tired of the "Kiwaukee Thomas is the fifth defensive back" comments.
  17. Well, to comfort you... you're not the only one with that sick feeling that in the end, the Bills will find a way to lose. Let's see what this team is made of. Let's see if they're the same old Bills which always find a way to lose close games, or if they are in fact growing into a special team.
  18. "For more than a decade, Favre has been a joy to watch and a darling of the football gods. But now his powers are declining, and when great athletes begin to lose abilities they once had, many find this hard to face. For the great athlete, everything in life has been an upward arc -- through youth, college, the pros and finally national renown, things just keep getting better. Then suddenly things stop getting better and performance begins to decline. In Kelly's final season, he threw a bad interception at the goal line in a close loss and came off the field repeating aloud over and over, 'I don't understand it.' The phrase 'I don't understand it' must run through the heads of many stellar athletes as their abilities deteriorate and the curtain call approaches. This thought must be running through Favre's head now." What game is he referring to?
  19. From their GameCast... jon (upstate ny): can the bills expect to win with jp losman at qb? i mean, seriously, he didn't even have 75 yards passing today GARY HORTON: I don't think they can. His decision-making and accuracy are questionable and I don't think the players around him belive in him. It just doesn't look like he can manage the game effectively, and if they have to rely on him they might be in trouble... Cincykid (Michael) (Kristiansand,Norway): Gary, do you think Volek really wants to carry a clipboard i san diego for the rest of his career? Whatabout someplace like Bills where he can compete for the job?? GARY HORTON: Buffalo would be a good fit but I don't know if they have any interest. San Diego is good for him because you never know how Rivers is going to come around. And Volek feels like the organization deceived him in Tennessee. He sees himself as a starting quarterback and he'll go where he has the best chance to be just that.
  20. I'm sorry, but those qualify as dumpoffs. Oh, sorry, I forgot we are using Noodle Arm as a measuring stick. Wow, Rob really went for the long ball!
