  1. And yet you spend time attacking the guy. Who's the loser here?
  2. I love how some of you guys think Donahoe made mistake after mistake by going after "luxury" skill players and not addressing the OL... Reggie Bush would not be able to be the impact player everyone expects him to be with our current OL. Imagine trading our 1st and 3rds for Bush... that leaves us with just a 2nd to land a decent starting-caliber OL or DL player. Also, what would be the cap hit for Bush's contract? that would also seriously limit what we can do in the FA market. I know it sounds cool, but the NFL is not Madden 06. You can't win without quality players on both lines...
  3. Doug Flutie....... and he will bring excitement back with his option two point conversion.... run, pass or drop-kick!!!!
  4. Today (and of course, yesterday) has not been a good day for the Mike-named coaches. Mike Tice... Mike Martz... Mike Sherman.... I hope we can add to that list... MIKE MULARKEY!!!!!! BTW... I think the Sherman firing will be remembered in GB as is the Wade Phillips here in Buffalo - the guy took them to the playoffs year after year, but they had their first losing season since 1991, getting him canned... let's see how they look back upon this when they get miss the playoffs in the following years... spoiled cheeseheads, karma will finally get you!!!!
  5. Do you really think so? How would you approach such task? It seems to be it would be easier than it seems.
  6. This game feels like a typical Buffalo Bills road loss. I have been watching other games for years, and there's not another team in the NFL that constantly, through all the years and different coaching regimes (not to mention players), always finds a way to sleepwalk when playing on the road, and commits just enough mistakes to guarantee a L.
  7. You forgot that he also couldn't catch some balls... which costed us some games, like the one at Oakland last season. Also, Willis isn't a much better back than Henry, but he easily would have scored the TD that Henry couldn't (even if replay showed it)
  8. The last sunday game that was not played in the early slot, was against Indy two seasons ago, the one we almost won.
  9. Last year, the guys at Nestlé Canada had to schedule about 8,000 classroom sessions for about 2K employees, dealing with about 15 different locations and close to 300 different teachers, in order to train them in SAP. You won't believe it, but having already invested billions in the project, they could not afford to hire some programmers to work on the scheduling for their training sessions... the end result: over 3 months of work by 12 people, who had to do it, ONE by ONE, on a brown paper that was glued to the wall and that was over 30 meters long. Months later, the same task was assigned to my team at Nestlé México, but this time, it was for 12,500 employees. There were 36,000 classroom sessions that had to be scheduled. We managed to develop a simple algorythm who could perform such task... How long did it take for us to code the program? Three days How lond did it take to schedule 36,000 sessions in such a program? About ten seconds. So, it sure is a daunting task if the NFL were to do it by hand... but, come on, 256 games?
  10. Being a die-hard Bills mexican fan living in Mexico City, I feel the urge to reply to this post... First of all, I agree with all of you that whistling during the american anthem, chanting "Osama" and throwing urine bags at US players (which didn't happen) shows a total lack of respect and maturity by mexican fans. I, for one, feel ashamed for those happenings... However, as someone already stated, this is not exclusive to mexican soccer fans. I think this happens everywhere... whenever a game pits two big-time rivals, there will always be fans who shout harsh words and, in general, behave more like apes than like the human beings they're supposed to be... It's the nature of sports... it helps people in dealing with their real-life frustrations and in some way, reflects their resentment against their inabilities/limitations in achieving their goals in life... be it in Mexico City, Miami, Iran or Africa... It's sad to see people overreact to something so irrelevant like these hapennings, because I find that behavior much more immature and ridiculous than the one you are referring to (by mexican fans)... minimizing and insulting another culture or country because of it shows me many things, among them that we as human race are very far apart in reaching a level of understanding and respect for each other. All of you have internet access... it implies that you can afford a PC (or a Mac), that you have a decent lifestyle (by american standards)... and obviously that you can read.... Well, close to 10% of the mexican population can't even read... combine it with the fact that seing their national soccer team beating the US team will be among their highlights of their lifetime, and maybe you could understand their sorry behavior... which is not too different to the sorry behavior of some fans when Bills vs Dolphins gametime arrives... I for one am very proud of being a mexican Buffalo Bills fan, and no stupid behavior or comment like the ones already poured on some stadiums or message boards, will interfere with my freedom to admire everything that deserves to be admired... and that's why I'll be at Aztec Stadium come October 2, to experience an NFL game in person, and to let you know that for every bonehead, there are many more reasonable people who respect your country and love many things about it, including NFL games... JesusM
  11. Mexico City, Mexico / 23 / Mexico City, Mexico
  12. Hey Doc! What about Back To The Future?
  13. So much for our playoff hopes. I think most of us Bills fans, know how a game we're going to lose evolves... We all know very well that gut feeling, and we all know that this team can't win this kind of game. We all hope that somewhere, somehow, they will get it done, sooner or later... but it won't happen guys. We all know how a Bills loss feels just as it is happening. I know todat it's one of them.
  14. In the wise words of Chris Berman (at least wiser than those of that silly black bear and most of us), THAT'S WHY THEY PLAY THE GAMES. I remember a thread with a subject like "Why is everyone so nervous?". Why was everyone so confident?
  15. This Black bear guy is getting really annoying. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Black bear!
  16. Thanks Drew! You're halfway now to your standard road outing - 2 INTs in 25 min
