Just watched the Ravens-Cowboys highlights. I think the big story of that game is how pathetic the Cowboys defense played. - Allowed 2 big catches for 35+ YAC on the first two drives that led to scores. - Spent the next 1.5 quarters completely unwilling to tackle. It’s like they didn’t want to be there. They didn’t make Jackson complete a single difficult throw the entire game. Just totally sad defense there. I’m hoping the Bills contain the run game, clog the middle and dare Jackson to throw to the outside or down the field. If the Bills get a 10 point lead at any point then this game will be over. Jackson cannot throw his way out of a deficit.

One of the plays that even allowed the Chiefs to be close at the end of that game was a simple crossing route where Hill ran past all of the Bills DBs. Being afraid of Hill’s speed on the subsequent drives made the Bills play passive (with the results we all know). The crux of this thread is Mahomes put up gaudy numbers when he had a HOF coach/playcaller, HOF (probably GOAT) TE, and HOF caliber WR (who put up one of the best WR seasons of all time last year without Mahomes). Mahomes and Allen both still have 1/2 to 2/3 of their careers left. Let’s see how it all plays out before we crown Kermit.

Not sure how Daniel Jones doesn’t make at least one 10-15 yard pass with 30 seconds left to set up a realistic Hail Mary. Daboll is cooked.

Feels a lot more sustainable this year for some reason. I think it’s because we are winning with the lines and relying less on Allen making chicken salad out of chicken sh**.

If Beane thinks he’s still got it then I think yes, definitely. I don’t really care if MVS falls off the bottom of the roster. Hopkins can steal some of Hollins and Coleman’s snaps at boundary WR. We don’t have a player that can beat coverage like him down the field.

Despite his height, he has great athleticism. Similar build and profile to Von Miller, so a player like that can have success for sure.

Likely just seems super athletic and huge. The kind of player that gives defenses problems. Almost won the Chiefs game single-handedly (just missed by a toe). If we had Taron Johnson then I think we could lock him up. But he’s out, and this guy will likely have a nice day for himself.

Was he not ready, or was he just coaching under Matt Rhule who has been shown to be incompetent? I don’t think he’ll jump immediately to HC either, because it’s a totally different job. A great coach needs to be a manager and delegator. Not just have elite skills at whatever their specialty is. Maybe in a couple years after the Bills have added some Lombardi Trophies to his resume.

Allen was voted #1 trash talker by his peers. If it was socially acceptable to roast opponents, former teammates, and media personalities he absolutely would.

I’m pretty sure we’ll win, but I have this gut feeling that Likely is going to get like 110 yards and a TD.

That run had a big hold in the secondary too. I can’t remember if it was Hyde or Poyer that got yanked out of his path.

This is the first time in Allen’s career that players are being schemed open consistently, and these are the results. Mahomes has had this sort of offense his entire career for comparison.

The Bills playing a full game of garbage time in 3 games is really hurting Allen’s volume stats.

We did the same thing to the Titans a couple years ago in a similar type of game.

Wish they would actually try to run the offense with Mitch in these situations. Nothing beats live game reps.

Von is actually just a backup/situational rusher this year. Probably doing him a favor and let him pad his stats.

Defense needs to play worse and stop giving short fields.
